I at first thought by picking the fair colouring I had gone too light (I put it on very early this morning) so I chucked a dusting of bronzer over the top, and a bit of lip balm and that was it.. I was very impressed when in natural light looking at my skin, and through out the day I was even happier. This is so nice and light to wear, its a dream on my dry/red skin, it covers just enough and makes your skin look bright and flawless. Honestly, for a barely there 'born with it' makeup look you need to try this product. For $20 on special at farmers its worth it. Im a light skinned tone with a bit of colour due to freckles and the fair colouring was good on me with bronzer.

Tips: Apply with fingers, a little goes a long way. I applied it to my entire face.
The cc cream is a better version of the bb cream. I think it works great as a lught foundation during the day and also as a primer to go under foundation for a thicker/longer lasting coverage at night. Smooths imperfections without drying out the skin. Excellent product
At a first glance i thought this is a tiny tube and would not last long at all BUT.. when i put a tiny bit in my hand and on to my face i couldn't believe the coverage i got from so little product, I always use my fingers to apply my foundation but this product looks so much better (for me) with the use of a foundation brush, Its a great day look so light to wear covered my redness and freckles perfectly i love the way it looks on my face and will continue to use and purchase again, Thank you BR for letting me trial i love it!!
Tips: only use a small amount it's crazy how a little goes a long way with this product :)
I've been told that CC creams are exactly the same as bb creams and should waste my money when I already have bb creams. Errrrr Wrong!
Firstly, I found the CC cream had much more substance than bb creams I have and secondly, provided much more coverage than I have gotten from bb creams.
This cream felt so luxurious on my face and I feel the nourishing effect on my skin while wearing it. I use it under mineral powder as I have acne and acne scaring so I need lots of coverage.
This cream really didnt feel like a makeup but like a skincare product that perfectly complimented my foundation. This is now a permanent feature in my handbag and will be until I find the next best cream ;)
Wore it to work and it must look good because my work colleague is off to buy some too! It still looked good at the end of the day too. I really struggle with redness and I was thrilled with the results. Too soon to know about break out with my temperamental peri-menopausal skin but fingers crossed. Will report back in due course.
Tips: I have a really dry skin so serum first and then cc cream and then quick once over with beauty blender type sponge.
I actually bought this in the UK to use during a 6 week holiday in the hot european summer when I was finding my normal foundation too heavy. I absolutely loved it. My skin has quite a lot of red colouring around my cheeks if I dont wear anything, and I found this CC cream really evened out my skin tone and lasted relatively well, even without powder on top. It gives a really nice natural finish.
The average temperatures during our trip were high 20s and sometimes in the 30s and i didn't feel like it melted off my face (i have oily/combo skin so this is always a big problem for me). It was still on in the afternoon even with lots of sweating etc - yeah it was shiny but I think thats normal in the heat! I assume it would work even better in just normal temperatures :) Would definetley recommend and re-buy, way better than the BB creams I have tried.
Tips: Powder evens out the dewy finish of this CC Cream, but really nice on its own as well.
I had always wanted to try this CC cream so when Farmers had a 20% off sale I thought never could be a better time to buy. I purchased the CC Cream in fair as I have pale skin and most BB creams that come in light/fair are always too dark, so I was over the moon when I had finally found a foundation/cream that suited my skin tone perfectly. I looked at the bottle and didn't think it would go by far considering BB creams tend to be used quickly, but I was surprised that so little cream could spread so far. I apply one line under each eye (as I have very bad under eye redness) and one dot about the size of my pinky nail on each my forehead and chin. I use my Manicare beauty blender to blend it all in and I have a perfect complexion of clear skin. I apply it at 7am and at 5pm still looks as good as when I applied it. The formula is very opaque, so it covers redness very well, and spreads easily as it is runnier than most BB creams (such as Garnier). I have been using it for almost 5 weeks, 5/6 days a week and I feel as though it still has as much product in he container as when I purchased it, so it is a long lasting product. The product has a nice fragrance to it which is pleasant and not overwhelming.
Tips: I do set it with Rimmel London Stay Matte powder to help prolong the wear and also because I have very oily skin.
I'm a fan of max factor products in general, so I purchased this very soon after it first came out in NZ. I bought the fair tone, which is excellent for ladies with fair skin. The formula is lightweight and easy to apply with your fingers. The coverage was much better than I was expecting. I have a fair but ruddy complexion at times and this cancelled out my redness nicely. It also gave a slightly dewy finish. A little does go a long way and I am still on my original tube. I mainly wear it during the weekends or days off work where I want less coverage but still want to look socially acceptable! Staying power is ok, not as good as my regular foundation of course, but I would suggest setting it with a powder should you want longevity from the product.
Found this product great for me. I use it as both a primer and as a tinted moisturiser and also as a concealer. Particularly good for disguising those circles under my eyes! The product lasts for ages because you need such a small amount, it really does spread so go easy don't squeeze too much out.
This little product is a definite MUST have in my makeup kit! Sorry Smashbox BB cream you're just not cutting it anymore!
Tips: great as a light weight concealer!
Ok so i'm a sucker for hype so when I read about CC creams I was keen to try them out and was too impatient to wait for the reviews on BR to appear.
They appear to come in about 3-4 shades only from fair to dark. I've given shade "60" medium a whirl.
First thing that struck me was that the tube is not that big, 30ml. But to be fair i've been using powder foundation with a brush for the last few years so it's probably on parr with other liquid foundation sizes.
It contains SPF 10 which is probably better than nothing but I don't know why they bothered with it as it really doesn't add anything to the product and if you were spending time outside you'd certainly put on a specific sunscreen with a higher SPF.
BB creams to me were more like moisturiser with a hint of colour, but this is definitely more "foundation like" comes out the tube like a foundation, goes on like a foundation.
I've got to say I LOVE it. I really use foundation to even out my skin tone and this does it all, I thought my skin looked refreshed and glowing with it on and it lasted all day.
My MAC 65 has now been officially retired and it's CC for me all the way..until I guess DD cream comes up...
Tips: Apparently Farmers has it on an intro offer for $20 right now...if you didn't make the BR trial team get yourself down there and bag a tube now!
