Essence The false lashes Mascara Extreme Volume & Curl Review

I tend to buy every new Essence Mascara I see and recently I picked up this one as I loved the promise of "Extreme Volume and Curl" and they're always very affordably priced. I really liked this one, it has a nice brush which got each individual lash and provided great length and curl, didn't find it did much for lash volume, but still a great mascara, it did dry out quickly though - so always keep the lid on tight.

I ran out of Essence The False Lashes Dramatic Volume Unlimited Mascara and had to get a tube of this Volume and Curl instead.

The Essence tube is quite plain, there's nothing fancy or eye catching about the packaging, but the product inside is great. The formula of the mascara is not too wet and not too dry, it applies really nicely, and the curved wand makes it really easy to get the mascara into the inner corners without accidentally smearing it onto my eyelid or the inner area near my nose.

Two to three swipes of the mascara wand and my lashes look full, thick and just like I'm wearing falsies, without the pain of having to try and stick false lashes on in the right spot. Quick, easy, no glue, no false lash bands poking my eyelids in uncomfortable places, yet my lashes look thick, full and separated.

I'll definitely be buying another tube of this mascara, as Essence mascaras are great value for money.

One of two mascaras I just recently discovered from the Essence range.This one promises to give me extreme volume and curl and I am happy to say that it does deliver on the curl part although I am still undecided about the volume part as my lashes are quite sparse and need a lot of product to thicken them up.I only applied this to my top lashes giving them two to three coats and I did love how they held a curl and were a fabulous black which made my eyes pop! I found this was a bit hard to use for my bottom lashes and used a different Essence mascara with a smaller thinner brush which worked a treat.In the past I have spent a small fortune on mascaras and most of them have been useless,most are never black enough or dry out too soon before you use the entire tube up so at this price I am not too worried if it does dry up before I finish using it because it's still value for money and works effectively.I have found that none of the Essence mascaras have caused any bad eye reactions,no stinging or watery eyes,they are all ophthalmologically approved and are not tested on animals so that's a sure winner in my books.

I wasn't fussed on the curved brush. This applies quite thickly and very black. I could see this being popular with the younger gals. It is an extreme type mascara but did flake a little. For me I prefer more definition but on the whole good for the price. These wash off fine and haven't irritated my eyes.
