Love this product! I use this as just a foundation and it gives me the perfect coverage and has great lasting power. The compact is very practical with a mirror and a sponge. I tend to apply the product with a Kabuki brush rather than the sponge though. I find the price to be quite good as well because the product lasts a while even with frequent use. The powder is very buildable so you can achieve the perfect coverage for your skin type :) I would definitely purchase this product again without hesitating :)

I use this powder pretty much everyday. It's great for finishing your makeup and for touch ups during the day or evening. Not cakey looking at all. A little on the pricey side but totally worth it I say.
Tips: I apply it with a big fluffy brush over my foundation, and with the sponge i press it onto my skin around my nose to disguise large pore and for touch ups. Applying a setting spray over top ensures it doesn't look cakey
I use this powder over a Napoleon stick foundation, I love how it sets my whole make up look and gives a flawless finish. I always get compliments on my make up when I wear this, it doesn't make me look 'cakey' and it lasts all night. It's the best beauty product I own, I swear by it and have converted a few of my friends!
Tips: I apply this with a powder brush rather than the sponge it comes with.
I very much like MAC products, im a huge fan of MAC lipsticks, eye shadows and pigments however I feel like their foundations and powders tend to be unsuitable for very sensitive skin. I used MAC products for Years when I was younger as I loved the coverage they gave, but the entire time I had watery eyes, excessive redness and soreness around the nose when using the products.. I switched about a year ago to different products and haven't had the problems since. I switched to Bobbi brown mineral foundation powder instead of this product and have recently switched again to ZA powder/foundation compact.
Tips: If you have sensitive skin I would recommend testing the products in store a couple times to see if they work for you as if you are prone to soreness, dryness and redness and/or break outs some of their products may not be the best for you.
So I got this product before our last new years along with a few other MAC product and I must say amazing! I woke up the next morning and my make up was perfectly in place! I looked ready to go out! This is the first time has happened with any product. The only down-side for me is the price, I have gone back to study recently so can't afford this habit.
This is an awesome MAC product and I would 100% recommend it to anyone! It has really good coverage without being to 'thick', no shine, no shimmer but a really nice finish.
Tips: Much better finish when applied with a brush not a sponge!
Love my powder - it gets used daily on top of my studio fix. I use a tiny bit to stop the dewy effect of the foundation and buff it in with my Kabuki brush. It is great on it's own for a light dusting of makeup if you aren't in the mood for a full face.
I keep it in my hand bag for those on the go moments where you need a bit more makeup on!
Tips: I am a true believer in Banana powder so I always put that on top of anything I wear on my face. It helps keep your makeup in place all day and stops the shine around your Tzone..
I love this! It's great for full coverage, yet makes it look like your not wearing heaps of makeup. I carry this in my bag always for touch ups!
Tips: Because of its full coverage you can wear this alone with out foundation!
I used to be obsessed with all things MAC. So I have bit of a collection gathering dust on my dresser table. But this powder, while it's good, it's not great. At least not for me. I found if I use it as a setting powder in particular places, it's excellent (i.e. under the eyes, around the mouth) but if I use it around my nose, it makes my skin very, very dry - regardless of how well I prepare it. So I don't use it as an all-over face powder, just in specific spots that I want to set.
i love this powder ! i use it with my studio fix fluid. But it can look cakey teamed together so im trying to find a good application technique! anyone got suggestions?
Tips: Dust on with kabuki brush to help tone down the cakeeeeeee
