MAC Bronzing Powder Review

I love this bronzer. My husband went to a MAC store in Vegas and asked the girls there what to take home for his wife. They gave him this, and it's amazing. It goes on so well, is great for contouring, or just giving yourself a great bronzing tan. I have dropped this a couple of times, and the product hasn't cracked at all. It has a nice big mirror, and it is lasting me quite a while!

I have only ever bought one bronzer previously and it lasted me years. So when it came time to buy a new one, and after hearing so many ladies rave on about MAC I just knew I had to try it. I wish I’d known before now that there is both a matte and shimmer type. I bought a shimmer bronzer without realising, and although it isn’t too bad, I would definitely prefer the matte.

I have such fair skin and find it hard sometimes to find a bronzer that isn’t too dark and blends well. I’m glad to say that this bronzer is perfect for my skin tone. I only use a small amount to dust over my mineral foundation to give it a nice glow. I’m not 100% convinced on the price value, but I’ll have to reserve my judgement to see how long it lasts.

It comes in a nice sturdy black compact with mirror which I like. Too many of my current powders have the clear plastic twist top and crack easily.

This bronzer is great. Yes, it's expensive, but when you walk into MAC you know that everything in there is high-end (and therefore expensive!). It stays on, doesn't break in it's casing (not that I have experienced anyway), and it's amazing for contouring. It has a bit of a gold sparkle in it that I love, as well - not too much for work, but enough to make me feel a little bit glam. I love the size of the mirror inside the lid also.

I recently went on a MAC makeup shopping spree after reading all the great reviews on BR. I found the reviews regarding this bronzer extremely helpful as I was looking for a natural bronzer with minimal shimmer. When I purchased the matte bronzer from MAC I was hoping it was as good as all the reviews I had read and believe me it is. I have been in love ever since. This is perfect for contouring as it is a very natural colour without the shimmer or orange look that some bronzers leave. It is subtle but buildable when wanting more. When using over the whole face it gives a nice glow without looking orange. I think this would be perfect for anyone looking for a matte bronzer and recommend it.

This is the current bronzer I am using & love it, I purchased this one specifically because it's a matte product & I prefer my bronzer to be matte, then having to much shimmer - That's what highlighters are for in my opinion! Haven't found anything better.

Every girl should own a great bronzer for contouring as well as a little bit of a glow! Brought the Mac Matte Bronzer in their shop after the sales assistant recommended it with my go-to foundation. I think it's just an all rounder - easy application and great colour. At $48 it's not too expensive either for the quality you're getting - just my opinion!

This is my favourite bronzer and I have been using it for many years.... I have the shade "Refined Golden" that is perfect for my light/ medium olive skin. It is great for contouring and adds a lovely warm glow with a hint of shimmer.

The bronzing powder comes in a simple black compact that is a strong design. I really don't like flimsy, cheap packaging of cosmetics and Mac certainly deliver on quality.

I find the product delivers lovely pigmentation that is easily buildable and lasts all day. I use a medium to large powder brush for ease of application. The product lasts ages, so totally worth the price and I absolutely recommend this to everyone.

I love this bronzer! I am quite pale skinned and struggle to find a bronzer that isn't too dark or harsh looming. I have this in the shade Golden and it's perfect! It's a great bronzer for general bronzing around your face or even contouring. It is very build able and I feel confident using it compared to some bronzers which are just too harsh and dark. Highly recommend, so lovely on the skin

I have recently purchased the matte bronzing powder from MAC and I must say that I just love it! I was looking for a matte bronzer for a while, and found that the MAC one was only $48! So of course I had to buy it. It is a great contour product because it is so easy to control the amount that you use and it is very easy to blend to create the natural cheekbone look. It is a perfect colour for my skintone as well and it has absolutely no shimmer in it which makes it my favourite contour colour ever:) Its long lasting and and I just love it. It also very affordable for what you get:)

I have been using this product for the past couple of Years.. Even though its super expensive it lasts the longest time!

I think this is a perfect bronzer for contouring and general bronzing.. There is no nasty OTT shimmers or glitters and its a straight matte color. Its extremely pigmented and there is a shade to suit all skin tones. I actually find that one sweep of the brush of this one is enough and its super blendable.

I like the compacts, the mirrors are quite handy too.

This is definitely my top pick for a good matte bronzer!
