MAC Bronzing Powder Review

I have recently purchased the matte bronzing powder from MAC and I must say that I just love it! I was looking for a matte bronzer for a while, and found that the MAC one was only $48! So of course I had to buy it. It is a great contour product because it is so easy to control the amount that you use and it is very easy to blend to create the natural cheekbone look. It is a perfect colour for my skintone as well and it has absolutely no shimmer in it which makes it my favourite contour colour ever:) Its long lasting and and I just love it. It also very affordable for what you get:)

I am a massive fan of bronzer, I really do feel happier when I have that 'glow' about me (I think it reminds me of hot summer, beach-filled days!). MAC's Bronzing Powder is perfect for giving you that sun-kissed glow. I have it in 'Refined Golden', which complements my warm complexion beautifully.

The bronzer comes in a classic black compact with mirror. It's pretty heavy duty, good for chucking in the make-up bag when going away without worrying about it breaking.

The bronzer has light, fine particples with a hint of shimmer. It's quite sheer but very buildable, making it ideal for a creating a really natural effect, without cakiness or streaking. I apply it with either a large bronzer brush, sweeping it across my cheeks, chin, forehead and nose, or a use a smaller brush to contour with it.

I've had my compact for more than six months, using it most days and I still have TONS left, so it's really great value.

Overall, I think this is a fantastic bronzer for anyone wishing to create a lovely, summery glow any time of the year and I will definately be repurchasing.

I have been using this product for the past couple of Years.. Even though its super expensive it lasts the longest time!

I think this is a perfect bronzer for contouring and general bronzing.. There is no nasty OTT shimmers or glitters and its a straight matte color. Its extremely pigmented and there is a shade to suit all skin tones. I actually find that one sweep of the brush of this one is enough and its super blendable.

I like the compacts, the mirrors are quite handy too.

This is definitely my top pick for a good matte bronzer!

I recently went on a MAC makeup shopping spree after reading all the great reviews on BR. I found the reviews regarding this bronzer extremely helpful as I was looking for a natural bronzer with minimal shimmer. When I purchased the matte bronzer from MAC I was hoping it was as good as all the reviews I had read and believe me it is. I have been in love ever since. This is perfect for contouring as it is a very natural colour without the shimmer or orange look that some bronzers leave. It is subtle but buildable when wanting more. When using over the whole face it gives a nice glow without looking orange. I think this would be perfect for anyone looking for a matte bronzer and recommend it.

After being on the hunt for a proper bronzer and falling short almost every time! I discovered this product, I was looking for something that was an enhanced glow, not to over powering or orange - but something subtle and natural, which this product definitely is.

After trying it on in store, I fell in love! When i first tried using it myself however, i felt like the magic and beauty of it in store didnt correspond in real life. After a few days though and applying it on in different ways(Seriosuly thanks goss for teaching me how to apply bronzer) I saw that beautiful bronze glow again.

I swear by this product and always find myself venturing back to it everyday. Its perfect for that everyday look and if you are wanting something a bit more, its buildable without coming across to mud like which I find a lot of other bronzers do.

The price maybe a tad expensive, but its one of those products that is definitely worth the few extra bucks. I use mine everyday and ive had it for over 4 months now and still havent hit pan!

I love this bronzer! I am quite pale skinned and struggle to find a bronzer that isn't too dark or harsh looming. I have this in the shade Golden and it's perfect! It's a great bronzer for general bronzing around your face or even contouring. It is very build able and I feel confident using it compared to some bronzers which are just too harsh and dark. Highly recommend, so lovely on the skin

I don't know why we girls love MAC so much, if it's the brand or the product, but this bronzing powder is great. I use it every day for work and it blends in well with my pressed powder and foundation, both MAC of course.

This is the perfect bronzer in my opinion. The best part about it is that I can use it daily in Winter as a contour to brighten up my face and make me not look so washed out. Then in Summer or when I am fake tanned I can use it all over and as a contour and is such a great bronze! It is a great tan accent.

While it is on the expensive side, it lasts forever. I have had mine for just over one and a half years and it still has plenty in it to go (I also wear it everyday without fail).

You can really build on it without it looking orange. I also like that it isn't luminous like a lot of bronzers. It is matte and natural looking.

Definitely worth the investment. I don't fork out for many MAC products, but I think this one is definitely worth it. I won't ever be able to buy another bronzer again!

I have tried many bronzing powders before the MAC Bronzing Powder and will never again use anything but the MAC Bronzing Powder again. This is my perfect everyday bronzing to turn my skin from ghostly pale to someone with a bit of colour. Application was smooth and easy to apply especially with MAC's 134 large powder brush. The bronzer stays on my face for pretty much the duration of the day and it's a great day to night makeup. Due to the natural colour (and if you get fitted to the correct tone) it enhanced my skin and didn't make me look like a carrot face. The powder is really light so you don't need much and it doesn't clog up your pores. The one down side of it is the packaging doesn't really make it safe to travel with. Times when I have travelled with this in my makeup bag and it has smashed all the contents inside is countless. My tip is to put it in a snap lock bag so when it does break up then you can save the contents inside.

I have this bronzer in matte and I love it! Such sleek black packaging thats easy to carry with me. Very light and closes securely. It has awesome pigmentation but doesnt come off as a brown line when you try to apply it, (still remember to tap off the excess!) easy to blend and build on. Very natural look even for someone as pale as me! Little bit pricey but not much product is needed- will last a long time and I think its worth the money!
