L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Replump Serum Review

I find this review a little hard to write as initially, I loved this product but that wore off pretty quickly. It comes in a pump tube that looks every bit the part of something that is incredibly expensive and can only be purchased at a skincare clinic or administered by trained professionals.

I only got to use this product for about 10 days as it ran out. I'm not sure if I went crazy and used too much (I was using 8 squirts 2 x per day) and the outer carton doesn't give you an indication of how much you should use. It very vaguely says "The revolutionary dispenser delivers the perfect dose of formula onto the skin" So perhaps I did use too much but honestly found the 8 squirts 2 per day was the correct amount to use for my face, neck, and decolletage.

The smell is divine - I picked up a scent of apples which I love! The serum has a lovely luminous quality to it which is part of what I loved but I just didn't see the results this product promised. It's my understanding that a serum is something quite rich and nourishing however my skin just didn't get that benefit from the product. Having said that I might purchase another tube just to find out if my tube was a dud. The carton says it contains 16ml. This is 1ml more than the eye cream and I still have over half a tube of eye cream left and I feel that I used them in close to equal proportions.

All in all, I feel like R&D on this product was spent more on the packaging than the product itself.

Overall I'm sure it added something to the overall regime but I'm very under if I will actually repurchase.

This is the nicest face serum I have used. It's so light and non greasy so it doesn't leave your face feeling Oily and clogged like other serums and facial oils. I love the pump bottle, it's easy and mess free and stops you using too much. I liked how you could use this alone as well as with the rest of the range and it still made you face feel soft and plump. So if you just wanted a great serum you wouldn't need to buy all four products. I'd definitely consider repurchasing this again

I have been using this product for almost 4 weeks, and I received it as part of a review trial. Thanks for the opportunity Beauty Review! This light creamy serum comes in a 16ml syringe like applicator. Use twice a day by spreading lightly over face – focusing on upper lips, under eyes and forehead. This will presumably mean that it only lasts for half the time of the eye cream. Honestly I don’t like the applicator at all. It feels gimmicky, with the syringe like shape drawing obvious parallels with botox. And, is one supposed to use the nozzle to dispense it onto the face? That is just so awkward! I have persevered, though still not 100% convinced that this product is making a significant difference. There is perhaps a small improvement in my forehead lines, if I’m generous. The other areas also get the moisturiser so difficult to tell. I probably wouldn’t buy it again unless on a real special (or if something miraculous happens in the next week). The price is a real barrier when I can’t see any improvement, so I will probably spend my $45 on another product that more obviously works.

So this was a little bit fun to use. It’s quite a fun applicator almost like a big injection without the needle so don’t worry. You take the lid off and dab a few drops over the skin I generally I went cheek cheek and forehead which was well enough for me.. but I seemed to use less as my skin improved over time with use.

It was quite a light formula with a hint of sticky ness but that’s ok as you cover it with the rest of the set. It’s this that can make it hard to tell what’s doing what.. but you apply this and let it sink in for a while then follow up with everything else. So you can sort of feel in between applications your skin still feels the plump smoothness from using this serum.

Generally my skin has felt softer smoother and more plump from this set. This helped smooth the day or night cream over the skin probably allowing you to use less of the cream over time. So I am definitely finding I am using less cream, sunscreen and makeup as everything seems to be applying to my skin more effortlessly. It’s almost like my skin is permanently primed and ready to go at the moment.

It’s a nice serum to use and I still have a lot to go I did sometimes have trouble pumping it if on wrong angle but that will be my hubby storing it differently after he’s snuck in and used it.

It’s nice and smooth to use and I feel like it does aid to the plumpness of my skin. Despite there being a number of steps it doesn’t actually take long to complete this its fast absorbed so you can then continue on with the day or night routine.

I feel like it’s quite a hygienic applicator also which is nice as quite a few serums are double dip wands etc.

The whole range has a nice scent this is the first product you use so the first you seem to smell.. it’s hard to describe but it’s pleasant slightly floral but not sickly.

At first I wasn’t sure about the serum because it felt a bit sticky on my face but after it dried my skin felt lovely and soft. The purpose of the serum was to make my skin plumper, bouncier skin and fuller and while I can’t be sure if my skin is more bouncy (because what does that even mean?) I can say it does feel more plump and full! The packaging is a bit strange - i do like jars - but the design does make sure you don't use more than you need. I like the economical aspect of this!

I'm a fan of L'Oreal serums. The older I've got the more my skin has enjoyed the benefits from their serums. I'm 43 and I'm always looking for products to solve my main skin woes - hydration, brightness, and fine lines. Anything that can help me wear less makeup and has me feeling confident in my skin has my tick.

This serum is a little different than L'Oreals others in the application/dispensing aspect. The serum dispenses from a pen - and it dispenses a very small amount - which is great for making sure you use the right amount. I dotted the serum around - using 4-5 dots, and it provided good coverage for my face. The pen I found to be awkward to use at first. It's quite bulky. I also tend to keep my skin products in a cupboard and this pen tends to like to lie down - and needs to be leaning slightly towards the dispensing end otherwise product doesn't come out as easily. Once I figured all this out though, the pen is fine.

Once applied the serum absorbs nicely, and doesn't leave a residue on the skin. It glides onto the skin nicely as well. It's very similar to all their other serums.

The serum itself performed well in adding the hydration to my skin, and making it look smoother. It's definitely something you need to use day & night ongoing to get the results I would think. A few weeks in and it felt great on skin. My skin was smooth, and looked brighter. Wrinkles were still there, but the 're-plumping' I think happens over time, and patience and consistency is key.

I'd just love this serum in their usual bottle - storage of the pen is just a little inconvenient for how I store my products.

I do like that this serum is suited to my skin type and my skins stage of life, and for that reason, plus the price point, I'd be keen to continue use.

I didn't find this product as effective as I thought I would. Actually I kind of found it a bit gimmicky and not a lot different from the day cream. My skin certainly liked the layering of moisture and barrier protection, however I think if it were a clear product I would have 'felt' like it was doing something different.

I was hoping for a miracle, not sure why? The container is confusing and it was hard to know how much to use. I used this as instructed and I felt it didn’t do a thing, it left my skin feeling sticky and just didn’t really get absorbed, just sat on the surface. It was disappointing and I wouldn’t use it again.

My L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler regime arrived 10 days ago, and I’ve been using this serum for the past 8/9 days. I’ve used it exactly as recommended and applied it first in the regime each morning, before applying the day moisturiser. I’ve also used it by itself when my skin felt like it needed a hydrating, pick-me-up boost of goodness.

First of all, this serum comes in a cool-looking black & silver dispenser. I love the whole way L’Oréal has packaged this regime, from the pretty, metallic, light-pinky purple boxes that house each of the four products, through to how they’ve presented each product itself. The dispenser is very easy to use and you just pump out a few drops onto the palm of your hand and then massage it onto your face as evenly as possible. It feels quite novel and enjoyable to me to pump drops of serum out of a dispenser in this way - almost like I’m some kind of skincare scientist (ha!). But also, by pumping it out from a dispenser this way, you don’t end up wasting ANY product - you only pump out as much as you need. I use three drops at a time. Easy peasy.

In terms of how it feels once applied, it’s an amazing serum in that it makes my skin feel more hydrated yet firmer at the same time! It also doesn’t feel too heavy on the skin (like some serums can do ) - it feels quite light and gentle on the skin. It also has a pleasing, subtle fragrance. My skin definitely feels firmer almost immediately after applying it, yet it also feels smoother, more elastic and hydrated. Lovely!!

I agree with L’Oréal entirely that this serum helps to ‘boost the efficacy of your day moisturiser’. The serum compliments the day moisturiser by making it easier for you to spread the moisturiser on better. The moisturiser is a thicker consistency than the serum, so this serum is necessary in that respect alone to use first before applying the day cream.

I give this serum five kisses. It does exactly what it says it can do in that it ‘seals in moisture’ and aids in the efficacy of your day moisturiser. It’s also firming and helps my skin to feel smoother and more elastic overall.

I
