I have long been a 'product snob' and am always keen to try new things to preserve my skin especially having hit the 50; so I jumped at the chance to try a 'mystery product'. I must now hang my head in shame as I have trialed a product that I love, which is neither hideously priced nor salon only. Twice a day I cleanse, tone serum and moisturize.Sunscreen, a must, in the morning. The only step I replaced was with this day cream and I did indeed see a difference, in my skin, over the weeks I used it. It was easily absorbed and my skin felt hydrated with a really nice glow. There was a definite improvement in smoothness. The fragrance was pleasant but not overpowering. I'm not entirely sure whether there was an improvement in firmness and I wish I had taken before and after photos to give a definitive answer. I will definitely be re purchasing and have already recommended this to a friend of a similar vintage.

I was sent the anti-wrinkle firming day cream to try out because I'm at the age where I do have a few wrinkles here and there.

The cream cones in a small glass jar so it's easy to apply. It has a lovely fragrance which is quite a big bonus and one of the reasons I would buy it again. Once applied to your skin, it has a light feel to it, not heavy or greasy. It leaves your skin feeling quite nourished and hydrated. After using it for four weeks, I think it has made the appearance of wrinkles less prominent.; this will due to the retina-peptide.

I'm looking forward to using this product in future (once it is ready to go). I'm also looking forward to trying out other products within this range.

Smells great, similar to a much more expensive product I’ve used in the past. Nice and light and non greasy. Great for under makeup. It’s hard to say if it’s minimised any lines or wrinkles, but my skin does feel nice and soft and I’ll definitely carry on using it. My skin is dry and can be quite sensitive. I’ve had no reactions to the cream.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first used the day moisturizer, but I have been using it religiously every day since. I just love the smell and the light texture. It is so easy to apply and I find that my skin doesn’t sweat like it did with my other moisturizer. I have had comments on how good my skin is looking. I can’t wait for the entire range to come out in the near future. I have been converted.

Firstly, the packaging is great. I like that it comes in a glass jar, which can be reused or recycled. Unlike a lot of other products, with this product, you’re able to get every last bit of the cream out of the jar. This cream has no sun block, so if you’re like me and you wear a sunblock 365 days of the year, then you’ll still need to wear a sunblock over the top of this cream. It has a lovely, subtle scent which I found quite pleasant. It goes on really smoothly and I found it made my skin look and feel really nice. It certainly reduced any dryness in my skin. In terms of reducing wrinkles, I have some wrinkling above my lips and I saw no change in that. I didn’t really notice any firming of my skin, but to be honest, I’m not sure any cream can actually deliver on the promise of firmer skin. Having said that, I would definitely use this moisturiser again and will certainly buy it in future. I felt it delivered as good a result as many of the far more expensive brands I have used.

I loved trialling this lovely product. It is a day cream with retino-peptides that claims to improve skin firmness and smoothness. It is also an anti-wrinkle product. The cream has a thick consistency (not too thick though) and it absorbs instantly. My skin just drinks it up. I love the clean, fresh smell. No irritation has occurred and I do have sensitive skin. My skin feels moist and hydrated after application. I haven't noticed any improvement in smoothness or firmness, but then again, I always use a much more expensive Estee Lauder daycream that has firming properties. I have to add that my skin feels equally good on this as when I use the Lauder firming day cream. The packaging is nice and sleek. I have also given this to my husband to try and will be most happy to recommend this to friends. It is very good value for money and I will use this again in future.

This luscious hydrating day cream has my skin looking and feeling soft, smooth & silky...And, in my opinion the texture of my face does look and feel firmer, plumper and has a more youthful glow. The fine lines that are beginning to develop around my mouth not being so obvious is a great plus for me! The packaging is no frills and the pot size is excellant value for money, as a very small amount of the cream goes a very long way. The gentle fresh scent is perfect for my sensitive skin (and nose as I have a real dislike for strongly scented products).This luxurious day cream melts into and onto my tired, thirsty skin leaving me looking and feeling hydrated, refreshed and ready for the day. If I was going out and wearing makeup I would wait for the cream to be fully absorbed before applying as it is quite rich. I will most definitely purchase this product and recommend to anyone looking for gentle intensive moisture.

I had big expectations of this product to trial and to be quite honest it did not live up to all it claims to do,well for me anyway.I have mature skin but in pretty good condition apart from some fine lines around my eyes and deeper wrinkles across my forehead and around my mouth which are mainly smile lines.I also have some slightly enlarged pores around my nose and cheek area along with dry patchy skin at times.This product claims to smooth wrinkles and reduce the number and appearance of them making your skin look softer and more supple,improve the firmness and keep skin hydrated for 24 hours.To be fair my skin did feel well hydrated and supple after the first week of using this daily and it did appear to feel slightly firmer but after 4 weeks of use I have not noticed any change in the depth or look of my fine lines and wrinkles at all.....The texture of the cream is nice to apply,not too thick and does melt into your skin really well but I found the scent was a bit overpowering for me which consisted of a floral perfume smell.I also found that my makeup tended to slide off during the day especially under my eyes where I had applied the cream and at the end of the day my face looked greasy.After the first week of use I noticed my skin start to break out in places but this could of been just my skin getting used to a new product,well that's what I thought at first until it kept breaking out more and continued to do so during the use of this product so this product is probably not suitable for those ladies with sensitive skin or it may be just that I had a bad reaction to it.I think this product would continue to work but I think it is going to be a time thing like a few months to see a big difference to your skin.

Ok was super excited to be reviewing this pre-release anti wrinke cream for a starter! Always awesome to get the chance to review something brand new. The packaging was the typical L'Oreal style but not the usual red, it was mainly white with some red on it. The big red 45+ ensures you know it's the right one for your age.

The jar is glass which I prefer to plastic, kinder to the enviromnment etc too. It's a 50ml jar for RRP of $19.99 which actually isn't too badly priced as you don't need to use a lot.

It smells quite nice, not overpowering and quite botanical. I'm not really that comfortable with the huge list of ingredients in it and the list is long!

The consistency is quite nice, not too thick and absorbs quite well. I used it every morning since the day I received it and am still using it, I took a pic of one side of my face especially the wrinkles on the outside of my eyes to see if I could see a difference with use - I could see a slight difference in my skin - it did appear a little firmer but not really sure if it made a difference to the hydration or the wrinkles. Maybe I will need to continue to use to see more of a difference.

My overall review is that it's not a fantastic product, it does moisturise and it's not a bad price but I feel that it didn't make much if any difference to my wrinkles and firmness of my skin. I expected it to be a bit better than it was as I have been using L'Oreal for quite some time and have found that usually their products are good.

Bit disappointing really :(

I am love, love, loving this cream and I can't wait to buy it once I've finished this pot.

The pot states its an anti-wrinkle firming day cream for 45+ year olds containing Retino-Peptides. I've found it to be a cream that feels like satin, glides on easily, and absorbs completely into the skin with no greasy residue. Just what this mature skin needs !!!! Thank you to all you little Retino-Peptides!

Have I noticed less wrinkles? Well maybe the wrinkles are still there, but yes they have definitely softened and I have noticed the look and feel of my skin has improved. My skin feels softer to the touch and most importantly for me, it is so much more moisturised.

Even though this is a day cream, I have been using it both morning and night (never been one to follow rules), and after 3 weeks, I have used a little over half the 50ml pot, so I probably have enough left for another 3 weeks. I do tend to slather moisturiser all over my face and neck though, so it does get good usage, probably more than most, but my skin does tend on the dry side.....well it did !! The most telling thing for me whenever I try a new moisturiser, is how my face feels in the morning after sleep, and I can honestly say my face feels completely plumped and moisturised in the mornings now which is amazing. I am able to use less now as the trial has progressed as my skin has improved its condition. I know my next pot will last me a lot longer!

I have to admit I've never really been a user of L'Oreal skincare products, but I am now converted. I can't believe this moisturiser, which has noticeably started to improve the condition and look of my skin, will be retailing at $19.99. I'm seriously hooked now. I totally recommend this cream for anyone with mature skin.
