L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Hyaluron Plump Shampoo

Again was lucky enough to get on this trial to see how the new Hyaluron Plump shampoo from the supermarket would work, as it is hard to find a reasonable good shampoo, Loreal does everything well, Handy packaging.. This did make my hair really soft which is a bonus, and that was the only thing i liked, as it kinda changed the colour of my hair, but it wasn't designed to make your hair shinny. I think this is great to add in your hair routine.

I love purple, so instantly attracted to the bottle, packaging is classy. Product is thick and silky, and a little goes a long way. The scent is soft, but nice. Doesn’t overpower, and when hair is dry no lingering scent is evident. Product definitely cleans well, my hair felt very clean after use, but did not tangle. Generally happy with the shampoo, I used it with the matching conditioner. When it comes to the performance of the promises for hydrating, I’m not sure. While my ends seem less dry, and shiny, I felt my roots were heavier, and I felt the need to wash my hair more often. Hair was definitely easier to comb through after a wash, and I have very thick shoulder length hair now. Probably very good for people who use heat treatments such as straightening or curling.

This is a very prettily packaged shampoo that does a great job of making your hair appear thicker than it actually is. I am an older person with white hair and my hair usually looks flat and lifeless, so I was very surprised at the difference this shampoo makes. It now has body and a pearly shine that I absolutely love. It also feels silky and smooth. It looks like any run of the mill shampoo but it has a lovely, creamy lather and a delicate scent that wont clash with your perfume, Use sparingly till you find the amount you need for your hair. As an added extra, the bottle is recyclable

I only wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week, so I've only managed to use this a few times since it arrived and before the review was due, and I'm a bit on the fence at the moment.

Like all L'Oreal shampoos, it's a bit on the thick side, so it needs a fair bit of water to get it to lather easily.

It doesn't really have a smell, which is good. I'm not into my hair being overly fragranced!

While it is thick, you don't need much of it to make your hair feel clean (I have hair down to my bra straps and a blob the size of a $2 coin is enough.

While I've only used a few times, I think this will last about the same as an average shampoo (given you don't need that much of it).

It seems to be along the lines of other L'Oreal shampoos in terms of price, so not too expensive - but possible to get some really good deals when its on offer.

I like the flip top lid, it's pretty sturdy and nice to see it's made fully out of recycled materials and is fully recyclable.

Am I happy with the results? From day two, yes. Day one my hair feels clean, but isn't overly shiny and is quite weighted down (the two things that the bottle promises!). But day two (and sometimes 3), its bouncing and fully of volume, and where as I'd usually need half a can of dry shampoo to make it look and feel half presentable, I've needed very little, if any.

I'd certainly recommend that people try it. I will probably use again in the future, but maybe every other time I wash my hair.

The Elvive Hyaluron Plump Shampoo comes in typical Elvive packaging but in a lovely pearlescent lilac shade. The shampoo itself is quite thick (compared to other shampoos I've used in recent times) and it lathers up really well and leaves the most delicious scent in my hair.

It doesn't heave my scalp greasy or irritated and my hair looks lovely and shiny and clean once it's dry - it also looks thicker, which is amazing! When used in combination with the conditioner it's quite simply brilliant.

Since my favourite shampoo and conditioner was discontinued I've been looking for a new favourite and this is it. I would absolutely recommend this range.

I find the consistency to be thick not runny. It is easy to apply because of its consistency. You only need a 50cenr amount for each wash. On the first wash I did it twice. I found my hair to Matt a little in the ends. I have heard a lot about hyaluronic acid and it’s beneficial for healthy skin as well as hair. The bottle is well shaped to squeeze out the shampoo without overdoing the application. My first impression was the lovely lavender colour with a lovely floral scent. It was not too overwhelming but with good strength. The shampoo lathered up well and certainly cleansed my hair, I wash my hair 3 x a week so it can get a bit grimy feeling after 2 days. The shampoo worked well getting the grim off my hair. I looked at the supermarket about pricing and saw it ranging from $8-$10 at different places. This makes it in a reasonable price range. I definitely feel it does well for this cost. I enjoy the lavender colours on the container as it’s my favourite. The lettering was enhanced and easy to read so I found the instructions easy to follow and the ingredients understandable. The shampoo makes my hair look good but I also want my hair to be healthy, this part is more important to me. I think after the short time - a week which is not a lot to test it, but I found the results positive. At this stage I recommend this shampoo to most people, it does say useable by most hair types.

This shampoo comes in a lovely purple bottle. It has a nice thick creamy consistency and a little goes a long way as it really lathers up well. It also smells lovely, light and floral. It washed my hair well, but did not give that squeaky feeling, rather a light protective coating. I bleach my hair and also use straighteners so the ends often feel dry, this shampoo softened the ends without weighing my hair down. Would definitely recommend.

Such a lovely shampoo, it does do exactly what it says it will. I used it and let my hair air dry and the next day it smelt amazing but also styled so well and looked great

I have used Hyaluronic Acid in serum format on my face and in micellar water so have seen the magic hydrating benefits it can bring. I have long, thick hair with dry lengths, yet my scalp is prone to greasiness a few days after washing.

The L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Hyaluron Plump Shampoo has a beautiful, lightly fruity smell. I'm now trained to look at the packaging my health and beauty products come in and this bottle is made of recycled plastics and is recyclable (including the cap) as well as being solid and sturdy.

I use a large dollop of Shampoo and it smooths through and washes out easily leaving my hair feeling immediately and noticeably hydrated. It didn’t leave my coloured hair squeaky clean as my previous supermarket shampoo has been, and once dry my hair did not feel weighed down.

The shampoo promises 72 hours of moisture and certainly lasts between washes - my hair is definitely shinier, nicely hydrated and smells beautiful. The L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Hyaluron Plump Shampoo truly punches above it's weight as a supermarket product, proving far more effective than any salon brands promising the same benefits that I have paid some good money for! I'll be sticking with this one.
