Rich Infusion Conditioner

Conditioner is the hair product that I'm probably willing to pay the most for. I have super curly, dry, thick hair and a good conditioner everyday is a must for me if I want to maintain nice curls.

The product claims to soften and detangle lengths and while I agree that it does that, and like the way it leaves my hair feeling and smelling, I will not be purchasing again - I have conditioners I like more. The product is a thick balm texture, that I found difficult massaging into hair. I found I had to use a more than average amount of product to cover my hair from root to tip, and after using this product for just over a week, the bottle is pretty much empty. The product comes in packaging with a flip-cap lid. I prefer the bottle the shampoo comes in, and it comes with more product, which means it will last a lot longer as well.

When used with the shampoo, it left my hair feeling amazing and nourished and soft, but when used by itself, I liked how my hair felt, but not as much. I will continue to use the rest of the bottle, but will not be repurchasing. I did like it, just didn't love it.

Tips: Have to use a lot!!

Silky Strands?

I was really excited to be trialling this, as I always go for more natural products without parabens, so this is right up my alley! The packaging had a similar colour theme and style to the shampoo (as they are from the same range), and I thought that the colour scheme and design fitted well with the ‘Botanicals” theme, as it has autumn-type brown and orange tones, making it earthy but still modern. The squeezy bottle/tube was really easy to use- I had good control of how much product came out and it was easy to grip when wet (this surprised me, as it looks slippery!), and it opened easily and closed tightly. I really enjoyed the smell of this, it was more coconutty than the shampoo and it smelt really clean and fresh. I really really liked the thick and creamy texture of this! It felt really rich and lush on my hair and it was so smooth and silky, it glided with ease onto my hair. When I washed it out, my hair still felt super soft and when it dried it was so silkyyyy and soft and it felt amazing!!! After my shower, my hair felt clean, smooth and soft. No other product has made my hair feel so soft before! I also liked that I didn’t have to use any more conditioner than I usually would. This is my favourite of the three in this range and I would definitely repurchase, I have not felt my hair this smooth in a long time!

Tips: I usually find it easier to apply conditioner when I spread it out over my hands before applying to my hair

Great at adding moisture to your hair

I have been using this conditioner along with the shampoo and treatment in this range. I have dry hair, especially on the ends which is also very thick and long. I also often get a dry scalp and get dandruff. I was hoping for this conditioner to add some moisture to my hair.

I have found that this conditioner is pretty good. It has added moisture into my hair and has made it feel less dry and less brittle. It hasn't made a dramatic difference to my hair as its still pretty dry overall, however I have only been using this conditioner for a week so I think that over time my hair will become softer.

This conditioner comes in a tube with a lid that clicks shut. Because the product is on the thick side you do need to squeeze quite firmly to get the product out.

The texture of the conditioner is creamy. It's easy to apply to your hair. The conditioner glides on smoothly and detangles the ends of your hair.

Overall I have enjoyed using this conditioner and have found it to be effective on my dry hair. For the price I think it's really affordable and I will continue to use it. I would recommend this product to those who have dry hair and are looking for an affordable option.

L'Oréal Botanicals Conditioner

Squeeze for a brilliant conditioner! This conditioner arrived as part of a three part regime, its appearance is of a tube, freshly coloured in seasonal colours and clip lid for easy closure, the pack volumn is adequate for its price bracket. After shampooing my hair I applied this conditioner, again reading the pack for correct amounts and noting that this doesn't appear on the tube, further to note there is no tamper seal in the tube however it was transported with tape over the lid. Easy to grip tube in the shower made for a good experiance. The product itself applied easily to my hair with a no drip and non greasy feel, I left the product on for a couple of minutes to allow it to do it's job, This conditioner washed out easily leaving a subtle smell and lasting softeness that was easily able to be brushed and dried. Once my hair was dry, it was good to note how long the softness lasted for despite harsh treatment, and that was 24 hours minimum still able to be brushed and still with a scent. Over the last week my hair condition has improved, it appears stronger, more easily able to cope harsher environments, and more socfter than ever, my friends are loving the fresh new smell.

Tips: Don't stand on the tube, feet don't need to be conditioned and it makes the floor slippery!

Just like a hair mask

I was pleasantly surprised with the smell of this conditioning balm. There were hints of freshness, coconut and a bit minty, I really loved the whiffs of different scents and even dry my hair smells amazing. The consistency is quite thick, it felt kind of like a hair mask which is why I guess they called it a conditioning balm rather than just simply conditioner. I did feel that I had to use a lot of product as my hair is very long and it didn't spread as much as the shampoo. I have quite dry hair from lightening it so much so this product was really put to the test. My hair did seem to untangle easier and my hair felt softer rather than frizzy. The packaging to me was a little bit understated especially compared with the shampoo in this range, I do like that I will be able to cut it open to use up all of the product. I don't think I would repurchase at $17.99 for 200ml due to having to use so much product in one go but I would consider it if it was on special as my hair feels so lovely after using this range.

Tips: I poured the product into my hands and rubbed them together and then put it through my hair, the product went further this way.

I just realised I received a 200ml version so please disregard the bit that says $17.99 for 200ml. I would consider repurchasing the larger 400ml size when it is on sale. Thanks!

Nearly there

I happily trialled the conditioner from the range and I was 95% happy, it was nearly there.

Let's start with the packaging. Gorgeous autumn colours, so nice in fact I left it out rather then hiding the bottle away which I normally would do. The thought in design is evident and it looks great.

Secondly the smell is devine! To smell from the bottle it smells warm and exotic but once applied to your hair it smells fresh and pepperminty. Contradictory I know, but heaven scent.

The conditioner is ultra thick and creamy which comes in a good sized 400ml tube. I had to use a hefty amount to cover my hair but that's normal for me. The product review would have gotten a 5 out of 5 from me had there been a little more slip to the conditioner and left a slightly more silky feel to my hair. If it just melted in a bit easier and created that silky slip feel it would have been perfect.

It was nicer then some salon conditioners I have brought before however and if a salon used this on my hair I wouldn't doubt it was not a salon product.

If you want that salon experience in the comfort of your own home, give the whole range of products a try, it's a near perfect treat for your hair.

Tips: To help disburse the conditioner through your hair add a little more water as you go.

Lovely and light!

I have very very fine hair. Just a ton of it.

Usually I avoid anything that's too heavy or actually has the words "smooth" as I find it just ends up weighing my hair down too much.

This however is actually rather light and almost gel like. It absorbed into my hair nicely and left it tangle free which is actually a mission for my hair as by the time i'm done shampooing it it's just everywhere!

Nice scent almost vanilla like and it works well with the shampoo.

Soft and silky

With my very long, slightly dry and rebellious hair I was excited to be chosen to test out the new range from L'Oreal Paris Botanical range. This is for the conditioner in this range- the most important (in my opinion!)

The draw card for me the natural focused ingredients, the lack of parabens and silicons definitely was a great point for me.

As all the range, The packaging is really funky, I really like the colour way- it's natural looking colours and on trend design.

The conditioner comes in an average size and smells pleasant, rather flowery and natural.

The colour looks white and lotion like. A small amount applied after shampoo felt nice on my hair.

My hair can get quite knotty, so this conditioner worked well in that aspect, it was easy to comb afterwards.

What I look for in a conditioner is definitely its moisturizing qualities- and this ticked the boxes. My hair was left nourished and also smooth. It seemed to tame my rebellious hair well!

Overall, this conditioner was really nice and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again.

Best of the pack

I 100% love this conditioner! The scent is minty with a slight coconut infused aroma. The conditioner itself is quite thick and I used what I would describe as a "catapillar amount"(looked like a chubby catapillar on my hand haha) I applied mid way down to ends and massaged through my hair and scalp.

I left for a minute or two and rinsed out, instant soft hair and no tangles! Yay..

After towel drying my hair it was still soft and easy to get a comb through, which is awesome as my hair is bleached and would normally tangle and knot.

The scent in my hair was still around 2 days later and my hair was still lush.

I have been using this every 2nd day for the past week and a bit and my hair has honestly never felt so good.

Shiny and soft everytime I use it

Beautiful conditioner for a supermarket item

Really like the packaging of this conditioner, cool colours and really catches the eye (I checked them out at Countdown).

Lovely natural conditioner which works really well for dry hair. I used the shampoo first and then applied this conditioner, didn't need to use much as it massages through hair well. It is nice and thick too which I find important.

It left my hair feeling really soft and smelled great after washing it out. I really like this conditioner, they way it made my hair feel and would definitely buy it again.

Tips: Best used in conjunction with the L'Oreal Paris Botanicals Safflower Rich Infusion Shampoo. Apart form that just use as a normal conditioner and enjoy!
