L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Regime Reviews

I’ve been using the set of shampoo, conditioner, mask and oil together after receiving them to trial.

L’oreal are good at making matching sets of products like this and I like using them as a set. This is like having two sets, with the option to use either the mask or the oil, and the oil can be used in several different ways. Or you can use all four products together. That’s great value for less than $50 for the four products.

I love the matching packaging and having lots of options for how to use the products. That they are coconut oil – based is wonderful, as I love coconut oil and have dry hair so oil-based products are very good for me.

The shampoo is light and clear, and cleans my hair without staining or leaving any heaviness or residue. The conditioner is a creamy white lotion, and is also light and leaves my hair feeling soft and hydrated. The mask is thicker than the conditioner and can be used in several different ways. I find a little is all it takes to leave my hair feeling conditioned, weightless and soft, which is what the product claims. The oil is lovely. As per the directions, I rub 2 – 3 drops between my palms then work through the ends of my hair. The result is soft frizz-free ends that look hydrated and healthy.

Overall this is a very good set of products. I love them using them together. They all share the delicious coconut scent that remains in my hair after use. I rub the residual oil into my hands after applying it to my hair and my hands end up soft and scented also!

I highly recommend this set, and the products individually, especially for those with dry, fine hair like mine.

Absolutely LOVED this range! My hair gets pretty dry in Winter and I always struggle with the length and ends getting all frizzy and dull. After using this range for a few days, honestly, my hair doesn't feel like my own! It's soft and silky and actually has a nice shine to it. I used the shampoo everyday, then alternated between the conditioner and mask. Saving the oil for after I styled my hair helped so much with my little 'baby hairs' and kept them in place all day. Highly recommend this range if you have dry hair and want your hair to be silky smooth.

I used the whole range of products in conjunction with each other and after a week, my hair feels so much softer and smoother. These products have a fabulous fragrance although that could be a bit much for someone that is ultra sensitive to perfumes. The products were easy to use and definitely did what they said they would. My hair seems much shinier than it normally is and just feels a lot healthier plus not as "fly away" as it usually is. I definitely would use again and would recommend to others

I have had a great time trialling these four products over the past week. They complement each other so well and combined made my hair feel amazing!! The products definitely do not weigh the hair down, and have made my hair so soft, shiny, smell great and not feel dry. The packaging for these products is rather bulky- the oil comes in a glass bottle while the rest is in plastic, however you get a lot of product for your money.

Would definitely recommend to people with normal to dry hair like myself- however if fragrance is a problem you might want to give this a miss.

I am such a fan of this L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Regime! Each of the products complement each other extremely well, and each of them have played a key part in my hair looking and feeling so amazing after only a few uses of each. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean and nourished, the conditioner leaves my hair feel moisturised and detangled, the mask gives that extra luxurious feel to the hair and makes blowdrying my hair not as scary (less frizzy) and the oil finishes my hair off for the day leaving it frizz free !

Although there is oil present in these products to aid dryness, it did not leave my hair greasy!

Each of these products smell gorgeous - I love the coconut scent!

All of the products in the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut regime are amazing! They smell divine and really do everything that they claim to do!

Firstly the price, what's not to love there! I have been using salon hair care products so have been amazed that my hair loves this product just as much and the recommended retail is a fraction of the cost. Sometimes more expensive products work out cheaper in the long run as you don't need to use as much product but with these L'Oreal hair products, a little goes a long way.

All of the products have a similar coconut scent. At first, I wondered if it was a little on the strong side but it leaves a lovely subtle coconut smell in my hair throughout the day. All of the products are easy to apply and the containers have been designed well so you can get all of the product out and easily get the correct quantity.

I have been using all of these products together and separately since receiving them. All of the products work well together and separately. On the days I didn't use the conditioner I used the hair mask which really leaves my hair feeling silky smooth. I have been applying the hair oil to damp hair before blow-drying and have been amazed that it doesn't give my hair that weighed down look and feel that my argan oil gives.

All of these products have left my hair feeling fantastic. They haven't weighed down my fine hair like many other products do and I can easily skip a wash day without my hair looking terrible. I would recommend all of these products to anyone and everyone with fine hair that needs some nourishment!

This is a fabulous range and has made my hair look so healthy and beautiful. I am in love!

SHAMPOO: I was excited to trial this range so when it arrived I was straight in the shower. It came in a large bottle which surprised me as the other Elvive shampoo I have is considerably smaller. I like that it has a flip top lid which makes it easy to open and you can stand it on the lid to get the last bit of shampoo out.

It is a lovely thick consistency and man it smells devine! Beautiful coconut scent which I really loved. A little bit definitely goes a long way, it lathers up very well and washes out easily.

It didn't leave my hair feeling dry or knotty at all. The only negative thing I found was the amount of colour that washed out when I was rinsing. I know it is not a colour lock shampoo but I was shocked to see how much come out.

Overall it is a lovely shampoo which made my hair feel clean and smelling like coconuts!

CONDITIONER: Like the shampoo this comes in a great sized bottle with a flip top lid. I love how you store it standing on the lid which helps get all the conditioner out.

It is lovely and thick! I have very long hair but you don't need to go overboard with this as it spreads so well. It has the same amazing coconut smell as the shampoo, sooooo yummy!

I leave it on for a few minutes then rinse out. It leaves my hair with no knots and my comb runs through it with ease. After blow drying and straightening my hair looks transformed. So soft and shiny, my frizz is tamed and my hair looks fabulous. The coconut scent lingers all day which I love.

A beautiful conditioner that I am loving. I do not get any colour wash out at all from this unlike the shampoo.

MASK: I have not used a lot of hair masks before so was keen to see what results this would give me. It comes in a tub with a screw on lid which makes it easy to scoop the right amount of product out.

It is very luxurious and thick which I love and has the most incredible coconut smell which lingers in my hair all day, I love getting wafts of it throughout the day.

It seems like it can be used in a few ways, I tried a mask, overnight treatment and leave in conditioner. I like it all 3 ways! When used as a mask I shampoo my hair then leave this on for about 5 minutes then rinse, as a treatment I used it on damp hair as it was easier then popped on a shower cap and left it on overnight, as a leave in conditioner I put a tiny amount on my mid lengths and ends. My hair was never left feeling heavy or greasy. This really is a lightweight mask and my hair was left feeling so soft and hydrated with each use.

Definitely a winner for me and I would recommend for anyone wanting to give their hair a boost of hydration. Love this!

LOVE this regime. Best supermarket one yet! 5/5 for all the products. The best one of the lot had to be the mask - this left my hair feeling soft and amazing. I felt like i didn't even need conditioner after as it felt like a 2 in 1 product. Coming in 2nd has to be the oil! this left my hair feeling like it had absorbed the oils and not oily at all. Third place goes to the shampoo. This bottle is huge for the price! it lathered really well and left my hair feeling soft instead of like straw which a lot of supermarket brands do to my hair. Last place goes to the conditioner, was still a good conditioner for price although i felt like i really didn't need it after the mask.

Overall i would highly recommend these to some one that is on a budget or who has hair that needs some help with moisture.

I have been using the L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut products exclusively for the past few weeks.

They have a yummy coconut fragrance, especially if you use three of the products in one sitting.

These products work extremely well together, generally leaving my hair soft and mostly tangle free.

My hair and scalp are in great condition, probably took about a week to kick in.

If I was to drop one of the products from my hair regime, it would be the hair mask, as I felt it didn’t quite detangle enough for a deep treatment.
