L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Regime Reviews

Over all I was reasonably happy with the products ,some were better than others ,I preferred just the shampoo and conditioner . The oil and mask didn’t really do that much for my hair and it was still quite dry between washes,however nice and soft and bouncy when used ,but although didn’t exactly weigh my hair down was lacking in body ,and seemed finer than when I use my usual product . The retail price is good ,and relatively inexpensive so I wouldn’t really expect these to be amazing ,but like most L’Oréal products it delivers quite well in most areas . I just found the fragrance not really to my liking ,it actually made me feel a bit squeamish ,so probably not for me . An interesting trial and I had high hopes as have been searching for a while to find something to alleviate my dry hair problems ,alas not quite there yet.

I’ve been using the set of shampoo, conditioner, mask and oil together after receiving them to trial.

L’oreal are good at making matching sets of products like this and I like using them as a set. This is like having two sets, with the option to use either the mask or the oil, and the oil can be used in several different ways. Or you can use all four products together. That’s great value for less than $50 for the four products.

I love the matching packaging and having lots of options for how to use the products. That they are coconut oil – based is wonderful, as I love coconut oil and have dry hair so oil-based products are very good for me.

The shampoo is light and clear, and cleans my hair without staining or leaving any heaviness or residue. The conditioner is a creamy white lotion, and is also light and leaves my hair feeling soft and hydrated. The mask is thicker than the conditioner and can be used in several different ways. I find a little is all it takes to leave my hair feeling conditioned, weightless and soft, which is what the product claims. The oil is lovely. As per the directions, I rub 2 – 3 drops between my palms then work through the ends of my hair. The result is soft frizz-free ends that look hydrated and healthy.

Overall this is a very good set of products. I love them using them together. They all share the delicious coconut scent that remains in my hair after use. I rub the residual oil into my hands after applying it to my hair and my hands end up soft and scented also!

I highly recommend this set, and the products individually, especially for those with dry, fine hair like mine.

I have been using all the products for past 6 days and have been really impressed with the results. Hair is so soft and smooth and I have to say it looks “extraordinary”.

All the products come in generous sized bottles and tubs and is really good value for money. And really affordable.

The shampoo and conditioner give a good clean feel. For extra deep conditioning this hair mask is the best and left my hair tangle free after each and every use. The best is the hair oil, non greasy and does the job really well without giving the oily feel or look. To top it all, these products smell sooo good. I’d definitely recommend this product range.

Absolutely LOVED this range! My hair gets pretty dry in Winter and I always struggle with the length and ends getting all frizzy and dull. After using this range for a few days, honestly, my hair doesn't feel like my own! It's soft and silky and actually has a nice shine to it. I used the shampoo everyday, then alternated between the conditioner and mask. Saving the oil for after I styled my hair helped so much with my little 'baby hairs' and kept them in place all day. Highly recommend this range if you have dry hair and want your hair to be silky smooth.

I was so excited to be chosen to trial this regime. My hair is dry, due to colouring, lightening & styling habits! I also have fine curly hair, so it takes on a frizzy life of its own!

The regime I was sent was the Shampoo,Conditioner,Hair Mask and Nourishing Oil. The scent of all of these products is a light coconut scent and not over powering. The amount of product you get is generous across the range. I’ve used all 4 products consistently for a week and I might be a 10th of the way through the products.

The tub of Hair Mask is a favourite. A multi-talker. I was particularly taken by the Mask’s statement on the label “1001 uses! Whoa! The mind boggles – 1001 applications from the container, or 1001 ways to apply it?? The hair oil is glass, maybe my only real issue with packaging. Glass is great for the environment, but it’s quite heavy and in a tiled bathroom and slippery hands it proved a little treacherous, but we all survived the experience without breaks or injury.

Shampoo: Only a tiny amount needed to get the satisfactory suds, and rinsing is quick and easy. I was left with smooth hair, pre-conditioning. It wasn’t ‘wow’ but it was better than ‘ok’. Definitely nourishing. Not drying.

Conditioner: A small blob goes a long way and coats the hair nicely. Hair is tangle free after a quick rinse. Loved the feel afterwards with this even without the mask, my hair was relatively tangle free and soft after drying.

Hair Mask: Smells lovely! 1001 uses it said. I used it 4 ways (997 other ways to go!). I used it as a Conditioning treatment, an overnight Hair Mask, leave-in conditioner and as a finishing balm after styling. Definitely a favourite product, and performed well with all uses. In shower conditioning treatment was the favourite!

Hair Oil: No noticeable scent with this, but it’s a nice consistency to use. Not too runny & not too thick. A couple of pumps is plenty as a serum on wet hair. I only needed a tiny bit to boost shine on dry hair. It was so fabulous as an overnight treatment to hydrate my hair (was my favourite over the hair mask for overnight use!)

There are favourites with this regime– the mask and the hair oil. The shampoo/conditioner are great. Performed well with my dry fine hair. Defintely delivered on softenss. Maybe fell a little short on my ‘shine’ expectations. The whole range is well priced for the results. The Mask is fabulous, and if you’ve got incredibly dry hair, or it’s taken a battering with colouring/styling then a week of this product will bring some hydration and softness back to your hair. The oil is where I got the best results with hair shine – both as a conditioning treatment and finishing serum – it’s really lovely. A fantastic overnight treatment! Definitely wasn’t disappointed with results or experience! Thank you BR & L’Oreal for having me part of this fabulous trial!

I used the whole range of products in conjunction with each other and after a week, my hair feels so much softer and smoother. These products have a fabulous fragrance although that could be a bit much for someone that is ultra sensitive to perfumes. The products were easy to use and definitely did what they said they would. My hair seems much shinier than it normally is and just feels a lot healthier plus not as "fly away" as it usually is. I definitely would use again and would recommend to others

I have had a great time trialling these four products over the past week. They complement each other so well and combined made my hair feel amazing!! The products definitely do not weigh the hair down, and have made my hair so soft, shiny, smell great and not feel dry. The packaging for these products is rather bulky- the oil comes in a glass bottle while the rest is in plastic, however you get a lot of product for your money.

Would definitely recommend to people with normal to dry hair like myself- however if fragrance is a problem you might want to give this a miss.
