L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Oil Reviews

First off, this luxurious fragrant coconut oil surprised me to my core!! The Loreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil is a great alternative to salon branded hair care and fronts up with the big guns in the oil department. A fraction of the price in comparison to salon brands with a rrp of $20, you can't go wrong!

The treatments consistency is substantial but with a water like feel, and melts away like butter. It absorbs well and does what it says, leaving a weightless feel on the hair but with the silk and shine of a goddess. The product goes along way and seems as if it doesn't need to be reapplied throughout the day.

The packaging is gorgeous, the see-through glass gives a high end feel to an affordable product. The pump makes an easy to use feature without the spilage that you can often get with oils.

For normal to dry hair, this nutritious oil is found at most pharmacies, supermarkets and farmers stores, making it easier to get your hands on which is always a plus!!

It was a bit heavy if you used to much but once I did a bit less it was very good I find blowdrying with tales less time to dry and great after straightening

L’Oréal has always been a great hair product and I was excited to try this new product. The nice glass bottle is a great shape, the pump dispenses easily and not too much product onto your hand. This new oils scent is devine And smells like a tropical island holiday, the texture is velvety smooth and light without feeling greasy, I have very fine hair and most oils I have used weighs it down significantly even with smallest drop, this oil is very lightweight but I found I could only use a very small amount, without it feeling limp. It’s lovely to use as a heat protectant before blow drying keeping it away from roots and also a teeny amount distributed evenly through hair after straightening to tame those pesky flyaways. Overall I would Definately reccomend and use this delicous oil again but for my hair only a very small amount. The size bottle would last a very long time which is a bonus too!

I have been trialing this product for a week now, and have not found that it has made a huge difference on my hair. I have been applying it to my hair after washing and then blow drying it in, and have not found that my hair is any softer. Now this could just be that my hair is extremely porous and damaged through the ends and this is not hydrating enough to make a big impact. I think that if you have natural hair that is not damaged this would condition your ends, but for me personally it was not intense enough.

Impressions of this product before I’ve read any information about it is... It looks like an oil, the colour of the packaging is predictable, the bottle is glass and heavy which gives me the impression that its good quality. The fact that it has a white pump reminds me of skincare which I like. Let’s use this! It has a pretty smell, women will love it, I personally would prefer if it was more coconut less floral. I used the oil as per the instructions on the bottle which is pretty straight forward and easy to understand which is SO important. I left my hair to dry naturally because that is MY normal daily routine and I feel like the product did deliver what it said it would. My hair was noticeably soft, less frizz and did not feel greasy. Although this is not the sort of product I would normally reach for, I do think it could be an easy to use and satisfying product for the correct user. I think this would be ideal for someone who has naturally wavy hair that just needs a tiny bit of encouragement to stay tame or someone with a full head of normal textured virgin or coloured hair that gets blow waved or ironed regularly.

I was very excited to receive this is the mail!!! First thoughts: it smells amazing!!!! Having very dry damaged hair this product was a absolute life saver! The first time I tried it I used it as it say a pre shampoo treatment applying 2-5 pumps through my hair leaving for about 10-15 mins, shampooed our and my hair was soft and silky! I also applied 1 pump through damp hair and blow waved smooth, it left my hair so shiny and frizz free,

It is a heavy oil, so I found in my hair (lots of fine hair) 1 application was more than enough at once, It got very greasy if I put it on wet to blow wave and then finished with in on dry hair! I think with the product we need to remember LESS IS MORE

smell like a holiday and makes your hair feel absolutely lush! this would not normally be my go to product but I gave it ago and wow was I surprised my hair felt so shiny and soft, I used this after my hair was washed towel dried then I applied the product and let my hair dry naturally and it felt the best it has in ages, would definitely recommend this product to someone that doesn't have the budget for a salon professional product but wants to use a great nourishing product.

This product comes in a beautiful glass bottle. It has a nice pump dispenser that conveniently locks when not in use. I applied 3 pumps into the palm of my hand. And as recommended by the pack instructions I warmed the product up in my hands by rubbing my palms together. I then spread it through my hair. I found that it was really lightweight and was absorbed into my hair immediately. My hair is super coarse and dry....so super thirsty. The fragrance is so delicious. A nice subtle sweet coconut fragrance. I felt the product penetrated my hair and nourished it from the inside out. I will definitely buy this product again once it runs out.

Another very impressive product in this range, big sturdy, classy glass bottle with a lockable pump. The oil itself is thin and lightweight feeling and smells amazing and expensive. Three pumps works well in my damaged and coloured hair, it left my hair feeling soft and in better condition than before. I noticed when I used this my hair dried quicker. This product as an overnight mask was also great (left my hair feeling amazing) and washed out easy with a double shampoo.

The smell of this product and how it lingers in my hair s takes the cake for me, highly recommend.

I was super lucky to be chosen to review the whole Extraordinary oil Coconut oil range (thanks so much BR) and this Is by far my favourite product in the range.

I have dry hair that gets a full head of blonde foils and tone every 6 weeks so that along with being outside all the time takes its toll on my already dry hair, it needs loads of moisture and serums and oils have become a staple in my hair care routine. My usual hair serum is a kerastase one but by golly its expensive so I was really hoping this one was going to be a winner.

The glass bottle this comes in is heavy and sturdy, it’s not fancy pants but it serves its purpose. I love the big pump top no slipping with oily hands if you need to go back for more. Also, this bottle is a whopping 100ml so I will last for ages.

I pump out 3 pumps into my hand rub them together and apply it from my mid lengths to the ends in damp hair. It glides through my hair easily and this clear oil even smells delish, a sweet coconut scent that lingers and matches the rest of the range.

Once my hair has dried my hair feels beautifully soft and nourished I have no fly aways and its not super heavy that it weighs your hair down this is absolutely the bees knees. I will also admit to being a bit naughty.. I went to bed with damp hair! I put the serum in and brushed it and went to bed- naughty I know! When I woke up I was expecting a massive matted mess of borderline dreadlocks like it usually is when I go to bed with wet hair but no I woke up to straight pretty good-looking hair! I will be repurchasing this serum for sure it is so much cheaper that the salon brands and does wonders for my hair.
