L'Oréal Paris® Botanicals Lavender Soothing Therapy Regime Review

So I'm perimenopausal currently and for the last 6mths, I've been through I don't know how many shampoo and conditioners, trying to find something that will love my scalp and hair...Guess what?? I found it!!! This shampoo and conditioner was on my doorstep when my daughter and I got home from being in the hospital and all I wanted was a nice hot shower and clean here...out came the Botanical's lavender soothing Therapy Regime and OMG, I'm in love. My scalp for the first time in months feels so calm and my hair feels so silky smooth and loved. As for the lavender scent, it makes the shower even more calming and relaxing. Thank you not only for the chance to review this amazing duo but also for finally fixing my crazy hair...

The first thing you notice about this product is the gorgeous lavender smell. It was a really pleasant surprise and makes your simple shower a luxurious one.

I have been struggling with dull, dry fragile hair this cold winter. Since the first wash - using this Lavender Soothing Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner combo - I saw a major improvement in my hair and it keeps getting better. My hair is soft, feels moisturised and looks healthy. My curls are starting to bounce back too, which I am very happy about.

In terms of consistency, the shampoo is quite light, easy to work through the hair, and lathers nicely. The conditioner is creamy and smoothing, and I find it softens and detangles my curls well. I use a comb after shower, and have noticed an improvement in tangles and knots (which frequented my dry hair!). The conditioner is so soft, it feels like a hair mask. I usually leave this in for a few minutes before rinsing out.

Packaging wise, the shampoo is in a nice pump bottle and the conditioner in a squeeze tube. It's easy to control how much you want to use from these dispensers and I think they've done a good job with the overall packing look.

Overall, I am very pleased with this product. I am keen to try the other scents just because I am so impressed with the way this one smells and feels in my hair.

I am thrilled with the Botanicals Lavender Soothing Therapy Regime. This product solves every one of my issues in one product! My fine hair has more volume and is smoother than it has ever been without using salon products (and paying salon prices). After two weeks of using this product my skin is less inflammed - it really is gentle and I feel no stinging sensation. I am also so pleased to find that this regime also contains no suplhates and silicones as this is also on my wish list. This really is the perfect product for me.

One struggle for me is dull, brittle , delicate hair with a very sensitive scalp in the cooler months. If you have any of the above problems...Then you NEED these in your life!

The shampoo and conditioner are infused with lavender essential oil, soya & coconut oils which are super gentle on my scalp and provide a high level of hydration to my hair.

The packaging is stunning and its made of high quality. It makes you feel that your using high end hair care just by holding the bottles in your hands.

The shampoo lathers well and deep cleans. The conditioner is super smooth and for both products a little goes a long way.

The scent is delicious and super long lasting.

I will continue to repurchase these beauties!

They leave my hair hydrated, shiny and feeling amazing. I have had no irritation at all from these.

A great product and range. I have had sensitive scalp on and off since being pregnant so I was very keen to try this shampoo and conditioner range from L’Oréal.

The shampoo and conditioner are so gentle and soothing. I had no reaction while using this products.

The shampoo has a effective and pump dispenser that controls how much you use and little amount of shampoo goes a long way. I have a medium length hair and with 2-3 pumps I was able to was able to thoroughly wash my hair. After washing and using the corresponding conditioner from the range my hair it felt full of volume, well moisturised and very clean.

After using the L’Oréal lavender conditioner my hair felt soft and clean. Also it was full of volume which I was surprised by as most conditioners leave my hair weighed down. While the aroma of the shampoo and conditioner was very floral it was not too over powering for me. A little of the conditioner went a long way which was great and with the bottle being a good size it should last me a long time so well worth the investment.

I really liked this product range and will certainly be buying it again.

My hair before had become dry and my scalp itchy and flakey as a result of chlorine being added to the water here not to mention constantly smelling like a swimming pool. Now, my hair feels smoother and appears less frizzy. It has a nice shine and is easier to brush. Then there is the Lavender scent, just amazing! Every time I brush my hair or even just let my hair free of the restraints of a hair tie, I would get this delightful waft of Lavender (not chlorine!). This lasted right up until I next washed my hair. My scalp is definitely less itchy and the flakiness has lessened dramatically too. The Conditioning balm, with its flip top lid and squeeze bottle, was easier to use than the shampoo pump bottle. The pump was quite stiff which made it difficult with wet hands. $17.99rrp each makes this more of a treat rather than an everyday product for me.

My hair is that wonderful mix of really curly yet super fine.

I walk that dangerous like of having beautiful girls OR a frizzy bird'snest of a do depending on how my hair feels or if it's like...the full moon and there was a blood sacrifice so only then will my hair be perfect.

Anyway. The shampoo has a nice light lather. I liked how it didnt make my hair feel too tangled after nor was it squeaky (meaning over cleansed). The lavender scent is light and pleasent but it doesn't stay long. The biggest bonus is that my scalp didn't feel tight at all. I hate that sensation and it usually ends up with my getting dandruff. Although this doesn't promise to help with that I feel that the fact it doesn't totally strip your hair will help.

The conditioner is thick but does not leave a residue and I was pleased at how much slip my hair had after rinsing it out. I could run my fingers through and my wide tooth comb didny snare as often.

I'd purchase these duos again for the price point.

I am so in love with this set. I didn't think I could fall in love with a shampoo or conditioner. But I have. Big time.

The shampoo comes in a pump (handy!) and does a magnificent job of cleaning my hair. It's left clean, but not stripped. My scalp has stopped itching, I no longer have as many scalp pimples popping up, and my hair isn't as oily as before.

The conditioner comes in a squeeze tube (also handy) and is thick and rich and does a fabulous job of leaving my hair soft and hydrated.

My hair looks SO good. Shiny, soft, healthy.

Second best of all? The scent. It's so yum and turns your shower into a luxurious experience.

I will repurchase and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to those who suffer from itchy scalp and oily heads.

These are great quality products which are all natural and toxic free. Infused with lavender essential oil they let your hair smell so nice and it's very soothing during the shower too. The texture of both the shampoo and the conditioner is creamy and easy to apply. Great for sensitive scalp and it is not irritating at all. After use I can feel that my hair is much more softer, easy to brush and hydrated. I think these products are great to use for whole family for nourished and healthy hair.

The shampoo comes in a handy pump bottle and is a good size at 400ml. The conditioner comes in a tube half the size. I had grumbles inside over that! Both products are free from parabens and silicones and are a more natural product than the average supermarket hair care.

For a supermarket product, the price seems a bit...pricey. But it definitely feels like a quality product in terms of packaging and branding.

The shampoo and conditioner are both the perfect consistency. The 'poo lathers nicely with one wash and leaves your hair feeling clean, but not over clean. The conditioner is rich and creamy and feels really hydrating.

The lavender scent is just beautiful. Really gorgeous and you can smell it throughout the day which I love.

I have quite a sensitive scalp with a persistent dry patch but over the course of this trial my scalp actually feels soothed and less 'angry'.

So...is it worth the price? I really think it is. A more natural product choice that leaves hair soft and manageable...without irritating my over-dramatic scalp. Winning!
