Head and Shoulders Clean and Balanced Shampoo and Conditioner Review

This was an ok shampoo but it wasn't a good one for a long time. It started off well but then I came back... Would use again but as a once off

I buy this shampoo, it is all that we use. It does make our hair shiny, fresh and leaving it smelling nice. I had very dry scalp and started using this shampoo as my mother in law use it she said I need to try this. Tried it and never again used other shampoo. My hairs not oily any more and no more dry scalp. I'm very pleased and so are the rest of my family

I love the Head & Shoulders range! They are so good and relieving for people with itchy scalps. It makes it easier to go longer between washes too.

My hair can be very oily and I tend to get product bulid-up quite frequently. I've found using this product really helps with both of these issues as after one wash my hair feels clean and fresh and I can go without washing my hair again for 2-3 days. It got rid of any dandruff I had within 3 washes too, which is pretty decent! I tried making this my regular shampoo, however I found that the effects did wear off after using it for a couple of months. But I managed to fix this issue but switching regular shampoos and coming back to this once in a while when my hair needs a particularly good clean. The scent is nice and crisp, and lasts for a while too.

I am a bit of a gym freak so my hair is always in a state. I picked this up to try & combat the dandruff I was getting. the smell was delicious & it gave a nice rich lather. didn't quite remove all the dandruff as it claimed but did a really good job! my hair felt soft & clean & the visible dandruff was greatly removed. good product!

I don't use this often, only when I feel my hair is really dirty and gross - seems to clean it right up!

The best part about this product is the smell! I find my hair just smells lovely and clean after using this product. I also like the packaging' simple and a nice size. And of course, it does seem to work for my hair - mind you I don't really get dandruff per say, rather if my hair is dirty (or dry skin from sunburn....). Rather I find it is good if your hair is feeling greasy and just all around gross!

To be honest, it may work for me because I do not use it often. I use a different shampoo.conditioner for everyday and only use this when my hair needs it. So that might contribute to it working for me!

This is a great basic shampoo to strip back grease and remove dandruff. It has a very creamy, thick consistency which made me skeptical about its effectiveness at first. However it worked a treat when my hair went through a greasy phase last year. It is great for a really basic and inexpensive shampoo and conditioner when you want to ensure your hair is healthy and grease free. Head and Shoulders has a minimal scent, which is quite good when you are only looking for an essential cleanse for very fine, sensitive hair. I would only recommend a short period of use however, as my hair quickly got used to the product and the grease set in again. I would recommend it to a friend to use as a periodic, back to basics cleanse when your hair is feeling particularly unhealthy.

The first time I used this, it was GREAT! I mean AMAZING! It got rid of sooooooooo much snowflakes for me! All of them smelled so good. My hair would feel soft and bouncy and look so silky and smooth with minimal frizz and flyaways..... But after about 2 years using it religiously I noticed it was getting less and less effective. So I've since been using another shamp/cond combo. I'm hoping that once I start using it again, it will start working for me again.
