Potential to be a brilliant product

Well..... Okay.....I see the potential for a brilliant product. I have very long,Thick Hair and was looking for something to make my daily hair routine faster or easier.

This product looks and feels expensive. -The attachments have a simple lock and unlock switch at the top of the attachments. -It has 1 cold setting and 2 drying settings (fast and faster) -With an easy push button you can move the round brushes forward and backwards. -Once you let go of the forward or backwards button it stops moving and still blows hot air. -The two round brushes gives you a nice blow wave and if you hold it in your hair then use the cool setting you can get some nice curls out of it. -The flat brush helps straighten your hair while drying it.(not the same as a hair straighter) Once you get the hang of using it you'll start to see results.

Your hair does need to be done in sections otherwise your hair can get caught in the seem of the brush and rip your hair out. (I know this from experience! Happened many times) Because this did rip my long, thick lovely lady locks from my head this product is not for me. BUT in saying that it has potential to be amazing.

Tips: I would NOT recommend it for very long hair. I would recommend it for short, medium, longish hair any thickness. It will not replace a straightner job.

Fab tool!

This is a great product! I have long, thick hair and love to use styling products. I was so excited to try this.

It's become my favourite styling tool! It takes a little while to get used to but it leaves your hair looking smooth, healthy and with good volume! I use the rotating brush and it really leaves my hair looking like I have been to the hairdressers and had a professional blow dry.

It looks stylish and it's also really good quality.

A five star product!

VS Sassoon Hot Air Styler

I am in two minds about this product but to be fair I think I just need to get used to it being a fairly new purchase. I like the smooth finish but I find I still need to use an ordinary hairdryer first to get a really smooth look. The two way action has me in fits of laughter as I invariably do it the wrong way and curl up instead of under. For ease of use I give it top marks but the amount of hair left in the brush is a worry and I know I'm not the only one concerned. I must say it gives lots of body to your hair style.

Tips: Don't use in your "moulting season" as it seems to take a fair bit of hair out. I find it best for me to have dead straight hair I need to partially dry first with a hairdryer however if you want loose curls then this is the brush for you.

Love The Styling Brush!

Scored this in the last vault! Choose this as I have always been interested in getting that blow wave look. Thus kit comes with a 50mm barrel, a 40mm barrel and the 3D styling paddle brush. The handle has two heat settings and a cool setting. You choose the attachment piece you want and lock it in to place. There is also a switch to choose which direction you want the barrel to go.

I really enjoy using the brush as it makes drying my hair easier and faster. It also acts like a styler, smoothed out my thick, wavy hair and it leaves it so much more manageable.

First impression on trying the barrel. Not great. My hair just caught in it. Quite frustrating, gave up on it soon after. I have since used it a couple more times. My technique has improved a bit but the end result doesn't look like it should. The amount of effort required compared to just using the brush for dual drying and styling, renders it pointless to me.

I appreciate that it comes as a set but think the option to just have the main piece and styling brush with the optional extra to purchase the barrels would have been better. I doubt I'll ever use the barrels again. Bar I didn't pay for it, there is no way I would have paid rrp for it. Still going to keep it as this has replaced my hair dryer.

Tips: Can't recommend the styling brush for drying and basic styling enough.

However, I think the barrel and blow wave use of this product would best suit thin, flat, easy to manage hair.

Like most hair styling tools, I think trial, error, patience and practice are needed lol.

Aw. I thought itd be awesome but I imagine it would take someone smarter than me to figure out how to use it properly, so I didn't seriously entertain the idea of getting one.

Amazing DIY Styling Tool

I do not own VS Sassoon Digital Sensor Hot Air Styler myself but I borrowed from my friend. I wanted to do something different for my hair for a special party so instead of straightening my hair as always, I thought to try a new look for me. I heard so much good things about this styler online and from my friend who has it so I borrowed from her. Firstly, I was expecting it to be very complicated to use but I was wrong, it was very easy to handle. I usually find it difficult to style my hair and they always stay very flat but this styler gave good body to my hair. My hair looked very smooth and had good volume. I did not have damaged looking hair which usually happens after using heating tools on hair. I liked it and really want to buy one for quick salon looking styling.

Tips: It is always good to read reviews specially for expensive hair tools before buying to have good investment for right product.

My new fav hairstyling tool!!

I love this gadget!! On opening the box, I thought the styler was big and cumbersome looking but I found it was much lighter than my regular hairdryer. As I have very fine straight hair, I was looking to add more volume to my shoulder length hair. I did find that it could be annoying to dry off your hair to 80% dryness and although I have noted that some reviewers used it on dry hair, I did not try on dry hair. I just changed my routine and let my hair dry naturally (doesn't take long) while I was applying my make up. I found the 40mm brush attachment perfect for my length of hair and it was much easier to use than I thought. I styled my hair without sectioning it off and found this a quick and easier way for me to do my hair as I am usually in a hurry to get ready in the mornings. I found if the brush wound on too tightly around my hair, that it simply brushed out easily enough on my fine hair. I found it so much easier to use rather than having my hairdryer in one hand and my big round styling brush in the other so therefore the drying is directed to the hair and takes the guess work out of having to juggle brush and dryer simultaneously. I love that aspect of it. It did seem to eliminate the frizz that I often get with my old way of hairstyling and the added volume that it gives my hair. I used the control paddle brush only once and I found it simple to use although I think it would be easier to use on thicker hair rather than fine hair. I like the straightening aspect of doing my hair this way though and it left it feeling smooth and sleek which I would prefer when going for a more formal look. I am so grateful that I was picked for this trial and would definitely recommend this styler to anyone with hair!

Tips: For extra volume, put a volumising product in your hair and if I had teenage girls in the house as I once did, I would hide it as it would find its way into their rooms for sure!!

VS Sassoon hot air styler

I was lucky enough to be chosen for this amazing trial! I own an older model of this vs Air styler, which I use at work after exercising to dry off the back of my hair that often gets wet in the shower. I have fine straight hair, cut into a shoulder length Bob. So I was very excited to recieve this to review. It is light to hold and the navy blue colour looks great. There were three attachments, a big round brush, a small round brush and a flat brush. I had never tried a heated flat brush attachment. This attachment dried my hair well, but wasn't my favourite of the three, I tried this out on my twins who have longer hair and I think it worked better on their hair length than mine. The fat and small round brushes were great, I used these on all three of us and found, that we all had more volume in our hair and no frizziness. It dried and styled all three of our different length hair within 10ish minutes, which is quicker than a blow dryer and straightener. For myself I still needed to shape the ends under with the hair straightener, but that was a 30second job. The girls hair being longer was perfect. Compared to the older one of these I have it definitely created less frizziness and made it so that less hair got stuck around the brush or caught when you were use the turning function. I used the rotating function and used it just on dry all with great results. The cool set function was also great and I got great setting results with it. Overall I loved this and the updates they made from my older version really made a difference to the condition and look of my hair. I would consider only taking this when I went on holiday instead of all of my other tools, and have reached for this over my traditional hairdryer at least 5 times over the 2 weeks I've had to trial it. Thanks so much beauty review for choosing me!

Tips: You can use this on dry or sopping wet hair, it works well on both!! Really quick, and easy to get a blow wave at the hairdresser amount of volume for a mid day restyle!!

The tool I've been missing all my life.

I was so excited to be chosen to trial this product but I was also feeling a bit trepidatious too. When I was six years old I managed to totally and completely tangle my hair in a round pin brush whilst staying with my aunt and uncle. Through my tears my uncle snipped and removed every individual pin and released my hair from the brush and then calmly brushed it out until not a tangle or knot remained. I was traumatised, he was traumatised and I've avoided round brushes ever since in case it ever happened again.

When I opened the box I was quite surprised at how big the hand device was as well as the size of the brushes. It looked big and clunky, though in a stylish way and with a great colour combo of navy and champagne. I wasn't sure which of the three brushes to use though with some experimentation (there were instructions too) I've found what works best for me. For a nice easy style a quick run through with the paddle brush gives a nice straightened look but for a salon blow wave look the rounded brushes are fantastic.

Each time I have finished doing my hair I have the old Wella theme running through my head (You can tell a Wella woman by the way she wears her hair, you can tell a Wella woman anywhere), I seriously feel like I've stepped out of a salon with a professional blow wave each time I've used it.

My straight, fine, thin and flat hair totally loves this styler. I've been able to ditch backcombing my crown for a bit of height and the straighteners are put on the backburner. I was a new convert to straighteners (less than 6 months), I always thought since my hair was straight there was no point in bothering but a friend used her GHDs on me one night and I was hooked for the simple fact my hair looked shinier and stayed knot free throughout the day. I purchased a mid range straightener and used it frequently but almost immediately noticed the damage to my hair and while it was lovely it was all a bit too straight and a bit harsh a look. The VS Sassoon Digital Sensor Hot Air Styler gives me the straightened and shined look I was enjoying but leaves my hair with plenty of movement and life and while there is some heat it doesn't feel anywhere near as damaging as that total direct heat straighteners give. I feel like this is the hair tool I have needed my whole life and I think I'll use it almost every day. I feel very blessed to have been chosen to trial this amazing product.

Tips: If your hair is fine, thin or flat then this is the product for you.

My only tip is to make sure you buy one and enjoy it :)
