Redken Extreme Anti Snap

Love love love this stuff. When my hairdresser first suggested that I used after going back blonde I thought it was just another one of those products they try to sell you for the sake of it so I was hesitant. After purchasing it there is definitely no looking back!!

This product has became apart of my hair care routine and I am definitely seeing a big improvement in the condition of my hair, I have less spilt ends and it is feeling amazing! Not to mention the yummy smell it has to it.

Highly recommend this product if you have damaged hair, you honestly cannot go wrong with something like this and it is worth every cent.

I brought this based on the reviews and have been using it for over a month. I brought it mainly for my dry ends, and to tame the little flyaway hairs on top of my head.

I loved the blue bottle and the handy little pump - means I don't waste the product (something I'm very bad at). I love the fruity smell of this; the product is a thick lotion in texture and easy to distribute into towel dried hair. I blowdry on a cool setting, and it does help me achieve a straighter result doing this. I do find myself adding extra product to the ends once my hair is dry just to give it a little extra nourishment, and a tiny smooth down on those annoying little curly flyaways on top. I use a Moroccan Oil for this. My hair has been bleached and coloured for so many years I forget what my real colour is (it's pink right now).

Don't get me wrong, it's a really nice product but after I've finished this bottle I will probably continue the search for something else.

I do think it's great value for money as you don't need a large amount (I have shoulder length wavy thick hair) probably the size of a 50c piece - and have only used about 5cm from the top of the bottle which is thinner .. so i estimate this is going to last me a good 4 months.

I used this product after I have my hair bleached from dark to blonde. My hair was extreamly damaged and this help to repair the damage the bleach had done to my hair helping to restore its soft and silky look and feel

I use about 2 squirts of this product through my hair just before a blow-dry and it does work wonders. It is non-greasy and does not build up or make your hair feel heavy. I regularly bleach my hair and as a result, it can become very brittle and snap, but this product helps a lot to prevent that and make it feel soft and healthy. It smells very fresh and has a nice, non-sticky consistency.

I have been using this product for a few years and have never found any others product to have the same effect. I would definitely recommend it!

I bought this recently as I had heard such great things about it. I have long dark hair that is very wavy (naturally) but I use straighteners probably more than I should. I have quite a few split ends so wanted to see if this product helped. It was easy to apply and smells amazing. I only used about a 50c size amount on my towel dried hair and that might have been too much. It was easy to spread round and I let my hair dry naturally. My hair afterwards hadnt changed much but I after about 5 uses I am starting to see a bit of a difference in my split ends (not as many) so Im really happy, as thats what I bought it for. I only use it every second wash though (works out about once a week) as it is extremely rich in protiens and my hair isnt that badly damaged.

I really like the Redken Extreme Range in general, in the past my hair has been bleached, straightened and basically sucked all the life out it. Anti-snap has really helped my hair. It is a very strong protein though. So your hair is not going to feel lovely and soft because the protein is designed to strengthen your hair from the inside-out. I think it works wonders, it is designed for distressed hair! And that is what it caters for!

I have very fine hair, both highlighted and coloured. I purchased this as a kind of healing treatment. However, it was too heavy for my hair leaving me with lank lack lustre locks! I would imagine it works best for those with very dry hair, whereas I tend to get very oily roots. Love the smell and texture just not for me.

I have been using this for a month now, I use it after my showers and it is a nice creamy formula so it applies nicely. Haven't notice too much difference yet in my split ends but it does make my hair feel softer and look shinier - thats always a plus :)

My hair isn't hugely damaged, but still has a fair few split ends here and there. I've been using this for some months, and I haven't really noticed much of a difference in my split ends to be honest.

When used before blow drying, however, it does make my hair softer and less frizzy, and a bottle lasts for months.

I have very damaged hair from years of bleaching and colouring, so I'm always on the hunt for new products that might help to revive my hair a little bit. I like this product. But that's just it, it's definitely a "like" not a "love." This is simply because I don't like the way my hair feels after using it. It feels dry and coarse, and pretty much exactly what I'm trying to get away from. As for the snappage, it seems to improve a little bit, but not that much. For the price I don't really think its worth it, especially when I could use a hair oil that helps to prevent breakage and have my hair feel like silk in the meantime.
