I love a good hair mask because I colour my hair quite often so am often left with damaged ends. Enter Paris Elvive Extraordinary Oil Hair Masque. Now I have tried the Miracle oil in the same brand and fell in love with how soft and silky my hair because whilst using it so it only seems right that I team it with this baby.
The pottle is the same appearance as the shampoo, conditioner and the miracle oil. I love the gold look of the selection. It gives my shower the bling bling it needs...winning! It has a screw top lid which I have to admit that I find hard to undo with soapy hands at times. I end up putting a rubber band around the lid so that I can get some grip.
I wash my hair with shampoo but do not condition when I use a mask because I find that I end up with an oily build up on my scalp afterwards. I use a good amount to try and add some much needed moisture to my dry hair. The texture is thick and creamy, like I would expect from a hair mask and it smells divine. I leave it in for ten minutes to let it sink in and work its magic. Once I rinse it out, the hair gods have shined down on me. My hair is soft, silky, tangle free and absolutely silky waterfall like.
Since using this my hair breaks far less than it did and sits in its style better. Teamed with the miracle oil.....omigoodness so good. I only do this once a week or my hair ends up oily and dank looking. It's true too much of a good thing is bad sometimes and this is fitting for this mask.
I was on a mission at the warehouse to get some more plants for the garden and ended up in the beauty isle... As you do, it's handy being the first isle as you walk in the door. Anyway there were a heap of these for sale for $7 yup $7 course I had to buy one that's too good to refuse and with my latest obsession being hair care I couldn't resist.
The tan coloured 300ml tub is narrow at the base and widens toward the top of the tub making it super easy to scoop the product out.
This light caramel coloured mask is of a very thick and creamy consistency. It also has a very fine gold shimmer through it. The scent of this reminds me a lot of men's 'Lynx' it is quite masculine and musky it's nice but not what I was expecting.
After I shampoo and condition my hair I give it a quick towel dry then add a half palm sized dollop to my hair concentrating on the ends. My hair has been dyed blonde a fair few times so it's rather damaged and dry so needs some kind of miracle. I let this sit for around 5 minutes then wash it out I towel dry it.
Once it has dried I run my fingers through and I think I am slightly blown away. It almost feels unmanageably soft it is like silk it looks so healthy and shiny. I am so impressed and the tub only cost me 7 bucks! I was all for hask masks but this mask is definitely better again. I will be dropping by the warehouse and stocking up on these but at the same time I really don't mind paying full price as I know it's worth every cent. Highly recommend if you have dry, damaged hair.
