My ghd had broken , while I had it sent away I tried using this hair straightner. I've always been familiar with Vs Sasson because my sister had a hair dryer from them. Her hair dryer lasted her many years . I was very happy to use this straightner knowing it had a good reputation in long wear.
This hair straightner is sleek and black. It has two ceramic gold coloured plates. On the side of the plates is a heat setting. It also has an on and off switch. Mine unfortunately did not have a pouch, just in a box.
When I turned it on and set the heat the plates were hot within minutes. My hair is really thick and it normally takes up to an hour to straighten. I always section my hair into six lots. I start from underneath and work my way up. My thick hair became smooth and sleek. I could comb my hair with a comb.
All up it's a great Straightener to use. It heats well. Price wise I think it's priced a little high. I would pay up to $150 for it. Irs safe because it has an automatic cut off system. My hair is smooth and straight after using it. A great straightner for a first time use.
These are great straighteners that do what you want. Simple to use and work well. Giving nice smooth hair. This worked well to tame my frizzy hair!
