Great shampoo

I have used the shampoo from this range and I really like that it doesn't have SLS so it doesn't strip my hair. My hair always feels nice and soft and clean but not dry or brittle.

Not bad

I mean it's good, but out of this world good....eh it's ok. I adore the packaging (esp the pump shampoo!!!!) and the fragrance of this range. The shampoo does its job and makes my hair feel really lovely, clean and healthy. The conditioner is probably my favourite from the range, I love how thick it is and gives really good moisture to my hair. The ointment was my least favourite, I have tried styling my hair with and without and it definitely leaves my hair more limp and heavy.

Overall like I say I like it and would potentially purchase it again, as I love that it is free from parabens & silicones and it is a great price for a decent amount of product......but don't think I will be reaching for the ointment anytime soon.

Interesting trio!

I have been using the shampoo/conditioner for just over a week and also the ointment a couple of times.

I have long, chemically treated hair, which us nit in the greatest condition. Which unfortunately makes my reviews a little bit harsh, as it is extremely difficult to find products that work miracles.

After the first wash, my hair felt wonderful and tangle free - I almost felt that I didn't need the conditioner!

As the days went on (I wash my hair daily), the products seem to have less effect, giving me less softness and not so tangle free.

On the other hand, a younger relative was also using these products, she had the opposite effect. Her non-chemically treated hair improved after each wash - so soft and tangle free!

I do like the unique aroma of these shampoos/conditioners

The shampoo pump bottle also looks great.

Complete Range? Or just some ...

Firstly this range comes in beautiful high end looking packaging - salon quality you could say (but at supermarket prices) and would look fab in any bathroom! The scent is a lovely almost minty manly scent, and could certainly be a shared family range that the hubby/partner would be happy to use.

I enjoyed having a pump shampoo in the shower, I found the consistency to be slightly runny and needed to shampoo and rinse twice to obtain a thorough lather and to get that 'clean' feeling.

The conditioner was a lovely and thick creamy texture, I think it compliments the shampoo very well, my hair was left with a soft & beautiful smelling cleanliness.

The softening ointment sounded fabulous! Smells beautiful like the shampoo & conditioner, and is a similar creamy texture to the conditioner, but it did not leave my hair feeling as described "detangled & nourished". Not sure whether I applied too much ointment or what - but I felt as if it reversed all the hard work that the shampoo & conditioner did, and left me with a tacky/gritty sort of unclean feeling - I love to run my fingers through my hair but I came across a few tangles with this - I must admit however after I had fully air dried my hair and straightened it, it did feel a lot softer. But would probably be best to skip this step all together and use a hair oil instead.

I kinda expected more from this range.

Tips: Recommend the shampoo & conditioner together.

I LOVE This Range! Your Dry Hair Will LOVE it too!

Anything all natural is all good in my books. It's hard to find many hair care products out there that are natural without costing the earth - until now! The L'Oreal Paris Botanicals Safflower Rich Infusion range is super affordable. And I would say it is quite comparable with hair salon products at a more affordable price.

The entire range is all natural contained within recyclable bottles, meaning it is all safe for the environment - waterways and landfill.

Each of the products cost $17.99 which I found a little strange being that the shampoo is 400mls, the conditioner is 200mls and the Softening Ointment is 100mls. I would think the price would be determined due to quantity but I guess it isn't in this case. Still, $53.97 for an entire all natural hair range is pretty decent, just weird that each of the products cost the same price for different volumes.

All the products have the same scent (kind of a mix between Vanilla and coconut, however the shampoo has more of a peppermint/mint smell to it (it reminded me of another hair product, but couldn't put my finger it). All very pleasant and not overpowering.

In terms of all the products, to be perfectly honest you don't really need to purchase the whole range and use all at the same time to get some epic results. They are all good in their own right.

You may have some varying results with the Softening ointment but the rest of the range is spot on first go.

Give it a go, you'll love the results

Tips: To be honest you don't need to buy the whole range to have spectacular results. As for the softening ointment, I would probably only use this as a deep conditioner for my hair in between shampooing and conditioning (even though the instructions don't say to do it that way)

Great range of hair care for dry hair

Firstly for each item I LOVE the packaging! The colours are great and really draw your attention to them (I checked them out at the local Countdown) – they do look great on the shelf and look fairly expensive. Love the pump for the shampoo too makes it easier to use in the shower.

Being natural is one of the most important things to me in hair care for me. So I opened the shampoo bottle up (took the pump wand out) and had a sniff OMG the smell is amayyyyyzing!!! It is a real botanical smell as they describe – it actually smells herby, almost food like?? Why wouldn’t this be amazing on your hair?!

To me they seemed pricey for a supermarket range ($17.99 each), or maybe I'm just a tight you-know-what hehe, although they are all different sizes. However I tended to use more shampoo than conditioner to get a good lather up (about 4 pumps) and hardly any of the softening cream was required.

I used all 3 products and really liked them all - the softening cream especially was lovely on my hair, I used a little in wet hair before I blow-dried and it really did soften it, not to mention made it smell great!

All in all, I think a good product for the price and using all 3 together definitely a good idea, in saying that I would buy them separately also as I very rarely have shampoo and conditioner from the same brand.

Tips: Don't use too much of the softening ointment as it can tend to make your hair appear "greasier" more quickly

All in all not too bad

Overall review of everything I wouldn't purchase this pack as a whole.

Yes my hair is softer and doesn't tangle but for the price of each I'd rather a cheaper brand that has the same effect if not better.

The conditioner I would purchase again as I absolutely love it! Awesome results for my very dry winter hair.

The shampoo and conditioning ointment I wouldn't use again as I had to use alot of product to get a result from shampooing and the ointment I used more as a styling product.

The packaging I love and the scent is refreshing and lasts a couple of days in your hair, which I find nice to wake upto or catching throughout the day.

Tips: No need to purchase everything to make things work

Good range that is moisturizing for dry hair

With my very long, slightly dry and rebellious hair I was excited to be chosen to test out the new range from L'Oreal Paris Botanical range. I'm always very picky what I use with my hair, and these were on my to-try list!

I'm really a fan of more natural focused ingredients, the lack of parabens and silicons definitely was a great point for me.

The packaging is really funky, I really like the colour way- it's natural looking colours and on trend design.

To be honest I'm normally a salon- preferred hair care person, but these hair products were a great alternative.

They were very moisturizing to my dry hair and left it silky smooth. It was also gentle on my scalp, smelt nice and really were great products that you can purchase from the supermarket.

Overall, I really liked this range and felt the shampoo, conditioner and balm were all very good products.

Salon experience at home!

This stuff is great, I happily trialled the shampoo, conditioner and softening cream from this range and I can tell you it was a very pleasant experience.

Let's start with the packaging. Gorgeous autumn colours, so nice in fact I left it out rather then hiding the bottles away which I normally would do. The thought in design is evident and they look great. The shampoo comes complete with a pump which definitely gives it a more luxe feel.

Secondly the smell is devine! To smell from the bottle it smells warm and exotic but once applied to your hair it smells fresh and pepperminty. Contradictory I know, but heaven scent.

The shampoo lathers just the right amount and you don't need a lot of product, after application my hair felt clean and quite nourished, not dry and squeaky like it does with other shampoos. The conditioner is ultra thick and creamy, I had to use a hefty amount to cover my hair but that's normal for me, the product review would have gotten a 5 out of 5 from me had there been a little more slip to the conditioner and left a slightly more silky feel to my hair.

The softening cream I'd describe as an added treat, that something special over and above. I personally applied it to my wet conditioned hair and left it on a while before near rinsing it out. The intention though is to leave it in so be sure not to overdo it which could weigh your hair down.

If you want that salon experience in the comfort of your own home, give these products a try, they really are good!

L'Oréal Infusion Safflower complete

I received this amazing trio, to trial and what a difference! The three products combined made for easy to manage hair, with a gorgeous scent that lasted for days. During the trial the complete set was used and put through some rough treatment, From wearing beanies, to pulled back in a ponytail and swimming, the complete series responded well , leaving my hair feeling stronger, lighter and easy to deal with despite all conditions thrown at it. the pack volume size is adequate, easy to grip in wet showers and dispense, The shampoo, arrived in a pump type bottle, this allowed for good dispensing of product once you had figured out the lock on the lid and not twisted it many times like I did, despite nil recommendations on how many pumps, I managed ok and that most likely allowed for better distribution of the product. Conditioner, a neat tube that was easy to use with a clip lid, whilst this didn't have a tamper proof seal, it did however arrive with tape over its end, pleasant smelling and worked a treat. Ointment, this was indeed a different name to a product I would almost of thought similar to a mask or leave in conditioner, this balm I initially wasn't too sure about, it arrived in a tube again with no tamper seal, and surprised me by its thickness, however easy to apply to wet hair and once brushed though made for a different feel entirely.

Overall the three products combined made for a pleasing experiance .

Tips: Use all three for optimum results
