L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Shampoo Reviews

This is a good sized bottle. Has good info and instructions on the back. The lid is a good size for standing upside down. The shampoo is what I think to be pretty standard thickness and kind of silky. As with the other products, I love the smell. It lathers up really well so I didn't need a lot. I followed instructions and applied to my scalp only and then rinsing. This also means you don't need as much. My hair felt clean after rinsing, while still feeling soft. I think I could have even gotten away with not using conditioner. Price wise, I think it's fairly reasonable. Being a good sized bottle and the fact I didn't use as much per use as some other shampoos.

This is the first product in the L’Oreal elvive extraordinary oil coconut regime. I have tried a few supermarket branded shampoos lately and this one is so far my favorite. Im normally a high end hair care girl as I have salon bleached hair that is pink at the moment and it most defiantly needs all the help it can get! I've used a lot of supermarket shampoos that have made my hair feel like straw but this one was amazing and left it feeling soft. The price of this shampoo is really good considering most supermarket ones you get are 250ml, it's going to last me ages as i only use a small amount each time, it lathers really well to. I love the coconut smell it has. I would defiantly purchase this in the future, great for when your on a budget. Would recommend this shampoo to a friend.

Has a normal shampoo/runny consistency. I found that it lathers up really well and I only needed a small amount of product to get the job done. The product has a very strong coconut smell which I found can be a little over powering. The packaging is the usual kind of plastic shampoo bottles but a large size. I feel like these bottles will last ages and be great value for money! Overall I had good results with using this shampoo, my hair felt nice and clean afterwards not oily or greasy as some shampoos seem to make my hair. I would highly recommend using this if you have normal to dry hair like mine.

I was excited to trial this range so when it arrived I was straight in the shower. It came in a large bottle which surprised me as the other Elvive shampoo I have is considerably smaller. I like that it has a flip top lid which makes it easy to open and you can stand it on the lid to get the last bit of shampoo out.

It is a lovely thick consistency and man it smells devine! Beautiful coconut scent which I really loved. A little bit definitely goes a long way, it lathers up very well and washes out easily.

It didn't leave my hair feeling dry or knotty at all. The only negative thing I found was the amount of colour that washed out when I was rinsing. I know it is not a colour lock shampoo but I was shocked to see how much come out.

Overall it is a lovely shampoo which made my hair feel clean and smelling like coconuts!

After washing and rinsing as per my usual routine this shampoo left me with clean soft healthy hair without it looking limp like a lot of other shampoos do that have moisturising content.

My hair is quite thin, coloured and rather frizzy. I use this shampoo every time I wash it, usually every second to third day. The shampoo is moisturising without being heavy or creamy. The smell is delicate and not overwhelming either. I do love that you can smell it though well after your hair has dried.

My hair felt silky and radiant after only a few washes.

The L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Shampoo is a lovely scented shampoo which will leave your hair clean but not stripped of moisture.

I like the scent as it does not smell too artificial. The formulation lathers well and rinses off pretty easily. I would say it would not suit you if you have you have super oily hair not because the formula is oily but because it is pretty gentle.

Super excited to be able to review this as i love the smell and benefits of coconut. Its a great size container of Shampoo and i like the fact its clear and you can see how much is left or when its getting low. The smell is divine, not a strong over powering coconut smell just a nice hint. The consistently is just like most shampoos and you don't need a lot to get the lather going on your head. Rubbing it in the smell and feeling is just so lovely and makes me instantly feel like summer. When i rinse my hair it feels great, it has a nice clean feeling with a bit of moisture but not too much. My husband has tried just the shampoo and he likes the fact it gets the dust and grime from a building site out of his hair and it drys with a nice shine too. Im off to add in the conditioner :)

I have been using this shampoo for past six days. Product comes in a easy to use plastic bottle with flat lid that makes it quite easy to store.The product is not ultra foaming like most other shampoos which in a way is good as it is not completely stripping your hair, but lathers well enough to give the clean feel.The golden colored Shampoo is easy to apply and washes out easily leaving a soft scent which is quite pleasant. It does not leave the hair feeling dry or brittle but really soft and smooth to touch. Works well on dry hair.

I have curly hair and while it looks like there is a lot it is quite fine. So this leaves me very prone to frizzy, fly-aways and I constantly feel like my hair is dry or conversely very flat from product. Hence I was interested in trying this product out because of the promise of extra hydration. I found that this shampoo was perhaps a little more drying than the normal shampoo I use - my hair certainly felt a little bit squeaky. But I did use this shampoo in conjunction with the conditioner, which was so thick and hydrating it balanced out the 'squeaky clean'. So by itself I think it would be too drying! The smell on this shampoo was divine, but then I am a bit of a sucker for coconut aromas. I did notice that while it seemed drying it didn't really foam as much as I normally expect a shampoo to - no complaints on that front though.
