Omg I LOVE this conditioner. It is almost like a treatment mask, that's how thick and creamy dreamy it is. Considering what you get out of it, it's fairly priced-not very expensive at all, especially given the brand. It kills all my frizz and makes my hair feel so moisturized and smoothe, plus it smells amazing! Almost like vanilla honey custard-well that's what I smell anyway. I always get this one when I feel like a bit of pampering

Tips: Stock up and apply liberally
Packaged in the standard Elvive bottle of orange colour. It holds a pale orange liquid, not runny and not too thick, a good consistency for conditioner I think. The scent for me was non offensive and didn't hang around on me. I did a couple of co washes only with this and found that it was ok for this. I did however use this mainly with the matching shampoo.
Applied to wet hair I needed about 2 fifty cent pieces, my hair is nearly at my waist so if your hair is shorter you won't need as much. Once mixed through I normally leave it for about a minute to soak in and work magic. My hair comes out feeling soft even when wet. I normally wash my hair everyday so the longest I could go is about 2 days using this alone but this is not putting anything else on the hair including dry shampoo by day 3 it was oily down at the roots and I needed shampoo again. My hair was softer but no noticeable difference on the frizz. I found it also didn't weigh my hair down. For me this is a nice back up, I still prefer my Sunsilk addictive shine over this.
I was really sceptical about this product but my hair has been really frizzy lately and I have no idea why so I really needed something to fix it asap. I just chucked this in my hair after my shampoo and left it in for a few minutes and went on with the rest of my hair care and my hair seemed less frizzy! There was still a little bit but it decreased it by a lot. The smell is very lovely too, but I find that it doesn't linger in my hair too much which I don't mind. I found that it didn't weigh my hair down at all and didn't make my hair oily and quicker than normal. This product is only slightly more expensive than my regular shampoo and conditioner so I'm really happy to repurchase it
Im usually one to be very skeptical about conditioners and often choose to avoid them due to having super fine and oily hair, however after using the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Conditioner I feel as though my mind has some what been changed. The texture is thick and creamy, the smell is just devine and to be honest it works better than johnson and johnson no more tears in the kids hair. It had made my hair slightly more mangaeable, much softer and the smell is long lasting. If you are looking for a conditioner to tame frizzies then look else where because this is not one for that.
I really loved this product for several reasons. One: great price. As being a student I only have a limited income, but I still want products that feel nice. This is right up with the salon brands that are 3x the price.
Two: people noticed that my hair was different. Comments that I looked like I had just had my hair done or that it smelt nice.
Three: Easy to use and no long time to be left in. I love hair masks but I don't have time to do them often, this product is hydrating like a mask. It feels rich but does not leave a product build-up in my hair.
Four: Gentle on sensitive skin. I did not have any itching or irritation with this product.
Overall: would repurchase.
Tips: This goes well the with oil serum of the same range, but I find that I go through less by using it with the shampoo/conditioner range. If you find this too thick you could try using this on just your ends, as the roots normally have more oil anyway.
I'd noticed that this conditioner (and shampoo) had received pretty good reviews here on BR before deciding to give it a go, which was a motivator. However i'm not at all impressed, this conditioner does nothing for me other than clean my hair.
The lengths of my hair are very dry, damaged and prone to frizziness, and it seems that this conditioner fails to help me with those issues at all. I feel like I need to use loads of it, and it's pretty poor at detangling, and certainly doesn't smooth and tame my hair as it should. Apart from a pleasant fruity fragrance, there's nothing that I like about this conditioner unfortunately.
This is a conditioner I would personally not buy again. The consistency is nice but I have dry hair and it does not do any thing much. probably suitable for more normal hair types
After just reviewing the Shampoo here is my review on the conditioner... (added the same start just for background info on my hair)
I have salon dyed blonde wavy/curly hair and I heat style it every day + always dry it with a hair dryer which of course means its frizzy too, so this should ideally be a good match.
Really easy bottle to use (almost too much comes out it you squeeze too hard, so be careful) and its in an unmistakably bright orange bottle (which is great cause hubby then knows which one to use!)
I find this conditioner great after shampooing with the same shampoo. My hair feels soft, clean and mostly nourished.
I still always have to follow up with hair product to take the frizz on my hair, but even with high end conditioner I have to aswell. This is a great all round conditioner when you can nab it on special. Don't expect miracles, but its better than a lot of other cheapies I've tried, and for that reason I would purchase it again.
I picked this up in the latest beauty vault and was excited to try this as I have dry, frizzy hair that desperately needs smoothing and I was hoping that this conditioner could fix this.
The conditioner comes in an orange inverted bottle, and it is easy to get the product out. I'm not a fan of the vomit orange colour of the packaging. The conditioner has a very thick consistency which makes it easy to apply to the hair and really soak in. The conditioner is an unpleasant creamy yellow colour, which looks offputting. It has a generic conditioner scent which I have no problem with. After using this product, my hair was not smoother than before and my hair felt drier and more stripped than normal. My hair was WAY frizzier than normal, and when I use this I have to straighten my hair as the frizz is ridiculous. This didn't work for me and did nothing that it promised, so I definitely wouldn't repurchase this product. There are more affordable conditioners that actually do what this product promises out there, so I'll continue to get those.
There is nothing negative I can say about this conditioner. The scent is light but delightful, it controls my frizz prone curly hair, and the packaging makes it easy to dispense the right amount.
I will definitely be repurchasing this, and trying the masque in this range
