I salon colour my hair and am always very reluctant to spend a fortune on colour protect products from the salons. I am always on the loo out for a decent conditioner that looks after my colour and helps with the split ends. This stuff does all that. Can't say for sure if it did anything for the colour but it left my hair soft and very moisturised which I love. Great smell too. Will buy this again for sure.

Tips: A little goes a long way
First time i used this it was ok, just like any other conditioner, but the next time i used it i left it in for a long time (Spend the time doing my Frank scrub) and it made my hair quiet smooth, was nice to feel. Though my hair isnt coloured a non natural colour im sure the benefits of this will still happen(:
The Conditioner had a lovely scent like the shampoo. The conditioner is very thick and luxurious when taking from the bottle. Surprisingly you dont need too much to feel the softness in your hair. It has definitely made my hair feel very soft. I am not 100% sure whether it has helped lock in the colour but my hair does feel a whole lot healthier with a glossy look.
I enjoyed trialling this conditioner but not a fan.
I followed the conditioner after the L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Shampoo.
Unfortunately, using both the conditioner with the shampoo still left my hair feeling flat.
I really like the packaging, vibrant red and the conditioner is easy to extract.
I did not like the fragrance and pleased it did not linger in my hair after.
I certainly did not use in *28 washes.
The conditioner did not add moisture or shine to my hair. I left the conditioner in for 2 minutes, 5 minutes and 10 minutes.
I did notice less colour in the rinsing water but may have been because I only had my roots re-done and have waist length, thick hair.
Smells lovely but unfortunately gives me itchy scalp and dandruff with my sensitive skin. I like how it smells fruity and is easy to wash out and makes my hair feel really soft but I wouldn't buy it. Didn't find it held my colour any better either.
Tips: Needs less chemicals/fragrance. Its not great with sensitive skin. Possibly lower price due to this and I may buy.
I used this along with the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Colour Protect Shampoo and I really like it. The conditioner is nice and thick and glides on easily and washes out easy. It doesn't have a really strong smell like the shampoo does. Using both the shampoo and conditioner together leaves my hair shiny, smooth and vibrant. My hair doesn't get oily as fast as it usually does which is a great thing for me as I like to wash my hair once a week to make my semi-permanent dye stay brighter longer. It says it targets damaged areas and I think it's true because I had split ends that made my hair really hard to brush, now my brush glides through my hair a lot easier! I'll definitely be buying this again.
250ml bottle, has a nicier frangrance than the shampoo, not such a chemical smell, went on well and once again didn't have to use that much as i have short fine hair, for the price ok product, but i prefer my salon brought product, found it easy to rinse out didn't really notice any difference in the fading of my hair colour, would like to see how it works in the summer months as i have a copper colour in my hair that fades quickly.
Paired with the shampoo this product really is a gem! I love the creamy texture and makes my hair feel silky smooth afterwards. Wish it smelt a bit nicer (its not bad but i love fruity long lasting smells!). Really has given my hair a shine and i do think that my coloured hair has retained its same colour which is great!
Tips: Don't need to use much of the conditioner, as its very creamy and spreads out easily
To be honest, I don't know if I've ever tried a conditioner I didn't like or that didn't work for me, and this one also ticked all the boxes.
Lovely rich (but not too thick) consistency, soft and subtle scent, and just enough applied to the ends of my hair meant my hair was nice and soft and manageable. Also, no knots!
I don't really feel like I can comment too much on the colour protecting properties of this conditioner, as I didn't notice a huge difference in my hair. But I do think that combined with the matching shampoo it's a great combination.
Tips: Use together with the matching shampoo to maximise colour protection. Also, I found a little bit on the ends seems to do the trick.
The Good - I loved the packaging of the conditioner, and the smell was pleasant.
The Bad - It was far too thick for me and was very hard to wash out. It weighed down my hair, felt greasy, and left my hair feeling very flat.
Would I buy again? Probably not. The heaviness of the product out weighs any colour protection benefits.
Tips: Put a dollop of shampoo through your hair after conditioning to get all the conditioner out.
