TRESemme Dry Shampoo

No made my hair chalky and dry.

Nice fragrance but just didn't work for me.

I found my hair just looked like I'd crushed up chalk all through the roots of my hair lol.

This product wasn't what i thought it would be. It was very chalky and heavy and is incredibly difficult to brush out. There are certainly better products out there!

I want to like this product, as it does take away oil and gives my fine hair volume. Sadly it leaves behind a very thick chalky and rough build up at the roots. When brushed out it does give volume but the built up chalky feel doesn't go away, so you won't be able to run your hands through or a brush without a tangle. Forget 3rd day hair if that's your thing because your hair will need a good wash and have a lot of product stuck on you roots.

This product, firstly smells a bit funny. I did not enjoy the scent at all, and found that I had to make sure the room was very ventilated before using it as it got into the back of my throat. As well as the funny scent, the product build up was really bad. It made my hair feel sticky, and chalky, and caused my hair to clump up. When I tried brushing it out I found it quite difficult.

I have very little experience with dry shampoos but I have no problems with the product. It was like putting a mousse into my hair and it smelt nice felt like a good refreshing product for oily hair. It does leave a residue though like a mousse or hair spray which washes out when you do wash your hair. Not a bad product at all great when you need a pick me up and time saver.

I don't mind this product, because you can usually get it on sale so it's quite cheap. It works, but only for a short amount of time ie. won't keep your hair looking fresh all day. Also, does tend to make your hair quite white, especially if you have dark hair.

So I got this product on special and decided why not give it a go. The bottle is smaller and lighter then normal shampoos so it is more compact and easier to have in toiletry bag. It feels like a light moose going into your hair and smells ok but it left my hair tangled, dry, chalky and full of white residue which isnt a very good look. I would not buy again and would not recomend.

Having black oily hair, I'm always looking out for a dry shampoo that does its job without a white residue. On each occasion that I give this dry shampoo a go, the product is quite difficult to work in to my black hair, leaving my roots in a matted mess covered in the white residue. Every time that I use this the product also tends to build up on the nozzle. Although I must say after using this my hair is no longer oily, but I also can't say that it looks clean. I will not be purchasing this again.

I bought this product because I generally like Tresemme products. I think my main gripe with this dry shampoo is that is isn't good for dark hair. My hair is quite thin and fine and once I spray this on, it tends to look like I have dandruff or powder in my hair. It did absorb some oil, but not enough for me to buy again.
