Amazing scent

Not sure this product did anything wonderous for the condition of my hair but I’m in love with the scent! Purchased the whole set (shampoo, conditioner, potion) disappointing that the conditioner is so much smaller for the price as I feel most people with long hair use more conditioner than shampoo. The only real reason I’d purchase again if it was on sale is I adore the herby scent (it DOESN’T smell like coriander thank goodness!)

Tips: Buy 2 conditioner tubes for every 1 shampoo if you have longer hair

Treatment

I love the packaging of this range. The disappointment to me is the size of the conditioner, why is it so much smaller than the shampoo? I always go through more conditioner than shampoo

The conditioner feels more like a treatment to me. It's quite thick and heavy feeling (not in a bad way, just more like a thick treatment) I was surprised that I didn't mind the scent, there was no overpowering coriander - it was spicy and refreshing. My hair felt so soft as it dried after the use of the conditioner. It's hard to single out a product when using the range, but I did like the softness of my hair after the conditioner. I don't know that it felt less brittle, it just felt manageable.

I think going forward I may keep this as a fortnightly treatment.

Great at detangling

I used this conditioner as part of the whole L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care with Coriander Regime - with the shampoo and the strengthening potion. Within a week my hair was a bit stronger - mostly through noticing a lot less hair loss in the shower (which means it wasn't breaking as much).

The conditioner comes in a large brown up turned bottle that matches its strong earthy feel, and also looks like old school salon bought products.

The conditioner is labelled as a balm and is quite thick. Like the other products has a very strong scent - very earthy, herby smelling - which I liked.

The conditioner is really good for detangling and remoisturising my hair, especially after using the shampoo which stripped my hair of moisture. The detangling is great because I need to work less to get the knots out, and therefore break the hair less.

Tips: Use with the Coriander Shampoo

L’Oréal Paris Botanicals - Coriander Conditioner

This conditioner is a must to use after you have used the shampoo in this range.

I love the squeezy tube packaging for this product - easy to cut open at the end to use up every last bit of product (yes I'm one of those people, but hey that means I enjoy t he product right!).

So you have cleaned your hair with the foamy cleansing shampoo in this range, now its time for the conditioner which is pretty much a moisturiser for your hair - the conditioner is thick - I love this type of consistency as it really felt like my hair was getting a treat - lots of nourishment and damage repair, my hair is so dry, fine and broken due to being straightened on the daily - so to apply a thick conditioner to my hair feels amazing. It definitely has strengthened my hair, and my hair has never seemed so healthy!

The only slight negative is when I washed the conditioner out of my hair and I was running my fingers through my hair, there were still a couple of tangles and so my fingers didn't glide through my hair - but this is probably due to the strengthening properties in this product.

Only other small negative is the less amount of conditioner compared to shampoo - I am definitely going to need to purchase 2 conditioners for the one shampoo, but again that's just because I prob use waaaayyyy to much conditioner than I need too!

All and all, love it and would definitely repurchase!

L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care Conditioner

Unlike the shampoo in this range which is 400ml the conditioner only has 200ml which is a bit off putting as it costs the same as the shampoo and some people go through more conditioner than shampoo. The product is creamy and white not clear and transparent like the shampoo. The conditioner does smell the same as the potion and the shampoo it is not a fruity or fresh smell more warm and sort of musky. The conditioner is nice and thick as well as creamy and rich so a little does go a fair way which makes up for the whole 200ml difference with the shampoo. You can feel it working in the shower like a conditioner should with that silky feeling. I have used this like a hair mask. Aside from being the same price as the shampoo and being only 200ml I cannot really fault this product. Although my hair did not feel as soft as other conditioners following use, that could be because it is strengthening the hair as it claims to do. It also claims not to weigh down the hair which I agree with. I note the claim is to strengthen the FEEL of fragile hair. Therefore feeling and actually doing are to different things. Skimming over the the additives I was suprised not to see the word dimethicone which is a silicone in most conditioners, is not eco friendly and may be bad for us in high useage so this conditioner gets points for not having that. This range has vitamin A in the form of soy bean oil this vitamin is required to help cells reproduce. Cell reproduction is essential for hair growth and maintenance. The vitamin is an antioxidant, so protects your hair follicles against damage caused by free radicals. Vitamin A is also helpful to the skin so this range is ideal scalp care. This range may be ideal for itchy or perhaps sensitive or dandruff prone scalps because the coriander oil can help ease a sore head while it is an antibacterial too. The soya bean oil is not a heavy oil either so it is not going to turn your hair into a greasy mess following use making it ideal for oily hair too. The packaging is good as you will be able to get the last out easily. A luxurious conditioner.

Tips: This contains coconut oil too but does not smell like it in case that puts you off. Be sure to use the whole product up as it will expire 12 months after opening. For more info about this range check out my review of the shampoo and strength cure potion too.

Rich and Enriching Conditioner is a Real Treat

This is a conditioner that really does help condition and repair hair that is going through a tough time. Mine honestly looks likes it's been dragged through a bush backwards at the best of times or has been through a dramatic incident recently! It's not very healthy at the moment due to its owner not being very healthy so I knew that if this product was as good as it's advertising then it was going to be up for a bit of a challenge to prove its worth. Although I've only trialled it for just over a week, I have noticed a difference, particularly in the ends of my hair. They don't look as dry and they aren't as tangled and mangled looking. My hair is also much shinier which I'm grateful for. I love that it's a natural product and I'm looking forward to continuing to use the products to see what happens over the next few weeks.

Tips: Add lots of conditioner to the ends of your hair and leave as long as possible.

L'Oreal Paris Botanicals Conditioner

The Conditioner is nice and thick and does wonders for my hair. My hair is super thick and has a tendency to be dry so this conditioner is the perfect second course after the Shampoo.

Tips: Keep away from your roots

Coriander strength cure conditioning balm

This conditioner is a real compliment to the coriander shampoo which is very lightweight. I do have long hair and often use more conditioner than shampoo so was no different here either I make sure the ends of my hair are well coated in conditioner. I found my fine dry hair was conditioned nicely without being weighed down or looking oily or dull. Love the fresh herbal smell which isn't over powering, and I feel my hair has improved in condition since I've been using it. Will continue with this product. Noticed no instructions but we all know how to use these products

Tips: Comb it through and leave it longer if you have the time

L'Oreal Paris Botanicals Conditioner

This conditioner is one that I'm going to keep repurchasing every time I run out. For a start, I love that it's in a squeezey-tube type packaging, as I feel like I'll be able to get every last bit of product out, and I also like that it differs from the shampoo bottle style. I personally have quite thin hair that can get weighed down by conditioners and end up looking more oily than before I washed my hair. This conditioner, while quite thick and creamy, seemed really light on my hair, I'm even able to spread a little up on my roots (my hairs super dry too) without it causing the issues I mentioned before. There's never any residue left behind but my hair definitely comes off a lot smoother and less frizzy. Because my hair is so long and thin it's also super prone to tangling, and it's not uncommon that by the time I come home from work there's a big matted mess on the under layers of my hair. While my hair still tangles a little, since using this conditioner it's been way, way less knotted and difficult than usual, so naturally I'm in love! I find this pairs super well with their shampoo of the same range, and I'll definitely be buying it again.

Nice but not exciting

I was excited to trial the Loreal Paris Botanicals Strength range, however I wasnt impressed with the results. The conditioner is ok... It has a nice smell and doesnt make your hair oily. But I have not noticed any difference in the strength of my hair. Perhaps if I was to use the whole set for longer I might see better results?
