L'Oreal Paris Botanicals Coriander Strength Cure Shampoo Review

I don't usually have strong feelings about shampoo, but I have strongly positive feelings about this one. First of all, the packaging is very stylish and on-trend, and you don't notice it's L'Oreal right away. Makes my shower look fancier! The pump is SUPER handy (can all shampoos have pumps please?) and the shampoo itself is really cleansing without being stripping. It's a clear formula and feels like it gets my hair really clean. I don't have particularly brittle or damaged hair so I can't speak to its restorative properties but I'd happily buy this product again!

I was super excited to see this range out for sale. I had known it was coming and couldnt wait to try it.

The thought of Coriander in a shampoo had me a bit perplexed but I was happy to try it.

I am so in love with this, I cant describe it any other way. I cant wait to wash my hair and smell the scent, just the best way to start my day.

The bottle is brown plastic with a pump, so handy! The labelling on the bottle is informative and looks very stylish.

The formula is clear in colour and quite thick, you only need 2 pumps for shoulder length hair. It lathers well and rinses out easily.

I dry my hair on a warm setting and with this shampoo I found my hair smelt so, so amazing and was beautifully shiny and soft.

As with a lots of cmpanies these days Loreal Paris is enviromentally concsience, with recycled packaging and once you have finished this gorgeous shampoo you can happily recycle it yourself.

Oh my goodness, how lucky was I too not only receive the shampoo for this range to trial but also the conditioner and the hair serum; and what amazing products they are.

The packaging delighted me - the packaging is so nice and looks like a premium hair care range - the shampoo comes in a generous sized bottle with a pump, the conditioner comes in a large tube, and the serum is a beautiful bottle which comes with a wee serum dropper to dispense the product - also in a really generous size.

I knew I was going to love this range as soon as I heard the words "fresh", "botanical" and "coriander" - I love natural products, and this range did not disappoint. The scent is the same across the 3 products, its a clean fresh and has a slightly herby/garden scent with a hint of spice and herbal. The scent is however not overpowering.

Shampoo - love the pump dispenser, its so good to have in the shower (and it looks great). It controls my shampoo use as one pump is enough to lather my hair (I have hair just past my shoulders). The shampoo does lather up really well with lots of bubbles/foam (I don't mind this) and I felt like my hair was getting a really good clean.

Conditioner - The conditioner is thick, and is like applying moisturiser to the hair, I love this type of consistency as it really felt like my hair was getting a treat - lots of nourishment and damage repair, my hair is so dry and fine - so to apply a thick conditioner to my hair feels amazing.

The only slight negative is when I washed the conditioner out of my hair and I was running my fingers through my hair, there were still a couple of tangles and so my fingers didn't glide through my hair.

Serum - love the bottle with the dispenser - the product is great! I have tried applying it to both damp and then also blow dried hair and it works well - definitey not heavy or greasy, it made my hair feel lovely and soft with a little hint of shine, and it also controls some of my frizz (yippee). The serum is light-weight/watery in its consistency.

I feel like these products have provided me with strength, I have definitely noticed a difference in less amounts of hair falling out as I was washing my hair, and even after a few uses my hair generally just looks healthier and lively!

I definitely believe this range is great value for money and I definitely would not hesitate to add this to my grocery shopping trolley! I am quite heavy on conditioner use, and the conditioner in this range is abit smaller than the shampoo, so I'm likely to need to purchase another conditioner before I run out of conditioner.

I love the packaging of this product the dark brown bottle look, a bit like the brown glass bottle of an older era. Even the print type looks like the old typewriter style. The shampoo is a pump which I think makes it easier to get the right amount of shampoo. I found the shampoo cleansed my hair gently while my hair felt clean and it wasn't striped, my fine dry coloured hair was left in a good condition after the shampoo. A very light weight shampoo, which I am very impressed with and the smell of coriander isn't over powering it's more a fresh earthy smell, my hair didn't smell like I'd been in the pantry pouring a culinary herb in my hair. The conditioner is also lightweight so my hair wasn't weighed down felt I needed to use a good sized amount for my long hair, so probably will run out of conditioner before shampoo. Result I honestly feel my hair is stronger and not as fragile so it does what it says it does, strengthen the hair. The accompanying strengthen leave in balm is a light product that sinks instantly into the hair, I still added a hair oil just as my hair is processed and dry and I wanted just a bit more before blow drying. I'm into the fact there is no silicones or parbens, reading the ingredients (more so these days on what am I putting on my hair and skin that could be harmful). Over all L'Oréal I love this new shampoo, worked well in my hair, will use again but I also wouldn't mind trying some of the other botanical range L'Oréal has created.

Wow, this is a great range! Nice eco conscious packaging and natural ingredients. The smell was different, a little masculine I thought, but it is subtle and fresh. I definitely would use this shampoo only with the other products in the range to get full benefits otherwise on its own I think it would be lacking in achieving the strenghtning and softness as the end result. I was lucky to trial the complete care package and can report it met all expectations - THANKS BR! The two negatives I have is that it doesn't performs very well if you intend to heat style your hair. I found when I tried to straighten my hair my hair just frizzled and took a lot longer with twice as much fuss to try and get it to do what I wanted. But I guess that's not the point of repairing and strengthening your hair. The other negative was the pump nozzle on the shampoo is annoying and doesn't deliver a useable amount of shampoo to use. Each time I used it I struggled to get enough as I have very long hair and thought it would have been easier as a normal squeezy bottle rather than pump action.

If your committed to restoring the condition of your hair throw out your heat styling products and replace your regime with this coriander range. My hair usually takes the usual shampoo cond routine and then a ton of products to calm the frizz, maintain manageability and give the feel and appearance of softness. When using the shampoo, cond and leave in serum of this range I had no need to use anything else. My hair was soft, nourished, minimal frizz and completely manageable.

I would definitely recommend this product range for those who want to restore their locks, busy people who don't have the time in their morning routines to fuss about, and those wanting a simple yet effective regime that is eco friendly and natural!

This line of products really intrigued me, mainly because there is no silicon in them. I was so happy and thankful to get to review them!

This shampoo is really good. I like how it comes with a pump, it's so handy! I like the consistency of the shampoo because it foams up really well, and I end up using less product than I would with any other normal shampoo. I feel like because it foams up so well, I don't need to wash my hair twice like I usually do.

The first word that came to mind after first using this shampoo was 'light'. My hair felt really lightweight - similar to if I had it washed at a salon. It felt like a deep cleaning shampoo, but didn't strip my hair of moisture which I love!

Something that amazed me was that my hair didn't get as greasy as it usually does after a couple of days without being washed. Usually it feels straw-like and rough, but it stayed pretty smooth which made me so happy.

Overall I am extremely impressed with this shampoo, it exceeded my expectations and I will very happily continue to use it!

I have tried a lot of different hair products over the last few years because i have been so destructive to my hair with bleaching and dying. I haven't found many products that actually help the health of my hair, instead they just mask the problem for a day or till then i have to re-apply and the cycle continues..... UNTIL NOW :) This product has actually made a difference with the health of my hair in less than two weeks. My hair looks and feels so much healthier. It doesn't knot up as much (because of the bleach) or break when i brush it and it has a shine to it that i haven't had in a long time. I am extremely impressed with these results and in such a small amount of time as well. I absolutely love the fragrance, such a nice refreshing smell. I will be purchasing this and making it my main hair care routine.

Packaging is very important to me and I LOVE the pump bottle! It looks classy and looks perfect in my shower. and the bottle is made from recycled plastic which is a bonus.

The shampoo is super thick and clear in colour with a super fresh refreshing herbal scent which I like.

You had me at the lather! It won me over big time! It has a thick satisfying lather and a lot of it which I was very happy with as I just dont feel like my hair is being cleaned properly without it. It cleans my hair well without overly drying it out which I was very surprised about.

I have super fine and brittle hair so if your like me I highly recommend using this product along with the conditioning balm and potion for the complete experience. Very happy to have tried these products and will contunue to use in the future.

This shampoo comes in a tall dark brown pump action bottle. The container is 100% recycled so this gives a positive thought and also the product has no silicones, parabens or colourants. For a product which advises it will revitalise and strengthen damaged hair it certainly starts off with positive vibes. On first use the shampoo is clear and quite thick with the loveliest scent I have ever noticed in a shampoo. It has a strong ,fresh herbal scent which is divine. The pump disperses a small amount with each use and this is sufficient to shampoo a full head of hair. I shampooed my hair twice each time and found the shampoo foamed up really well and my hair felt really clean and delightfully scented after use. I also noticed by the third use my scalp was less dry than usual.My hair which I have coloured for years usually feels really dry and hard when I wash felt really soft once I applied this shampoo. I feel for $18 this shampoo for 400 mls is worth every scent as this will last a long time and is so enjoyable to use. My granddaughter who is currently staying with me used it on her hair which is long and loved it as much as I did. My hair is much healthier looking after using three times and has lost the harsh dry feel.

I am a wee bit of a snob when it comes to shampoos etc. I have heavily treated hair. years and years of salon bleaching and fashions colours, so i buy high end products so it doesnt fall out or end up like straw. However, I won this is a christmas competition.

My first reaction, was why on earth would you put coriander into a product. It seemed a but out of the norm.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. A little goes a long way, the smell is nice. It was earthy, and nothing like coriander! :) I loved that it was in pump bottle, that made using it a lot easier.

Within a week, my fly aways had gone. And the hair felt stronger and slightly healthier. Great product.
