L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Mask Reviews

I have only used a few hair masks in the past but this one is so good! It is quite a thick consistency almost like normal conditioner but thicker. It applies good and it spreads well if you run your fingers through your hair to help it spread. It does have a coconut smell. The packaging is a small round plastic tub and is great as you can get your whole hand in it to get the product out with ease, and the lid is easy to put back on with one hand. This has made my hair so soft and shiny, it has been great. I have definitely been converted to a hair mask kind of person.

This hair mask is very luxurious! My hair is very fine and dry on the ends but can get oily and feel weighed down very easily. I am one of those unfortunate people whose hair looks greasy if I don't wash it each day. This hair care range does not weigh my hair down!

The mask is amazing and it can be used a couple of different ways. Firstly apply it on dry hair and leave it for a while before washing, and secondly, the more common way, after shampooing. I have used it both ways and both times my hair felt like it was getting a real treat! It was silky and smooth afterward.

The hair mask smells of coconut and leaves a delicious lingering scent. It is a thick mask which, in my opinion, is ideal for a hair mask as I like to feel as if my hair is coated in something rich and nourishing. The tub is perfect for scooping out the desired quantity and ensuring that every last bit gets used.

Finally, the price, RRP $11.19, perfect. I can use as much of this amazing hair mask without feeling guilty! I would recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing hair mask at an incredible price.

I have not used a lot of hair masks before so was keen to see what results this would give me. It comes in a tub with a screw on lid which makes it easy to scoop the right amount of product out.

It is very luxurious and thick which I love and has the most incredible coconut smell which lingers in my hair all day, I love getting wafts of it throughout the day.

It seems like it can be used in a few ways, I tried a mask, overnight treatment and leave in conditioner. I like it all 3 ways! When used as a mask I shampoo my hair then leave this on for about 5 minutes then rinse, as a treatment I used it on damp hair as it was easier then popped on a shower cap and left it on overnight, as a leave in conditioner I put a tiny amount on my mid lengths and ends. My hair was never left feeling heavy or greasy. This really is a lightweight mask and my hair was left feeling so soft and hydrated with each use.

Definitely a winner for me and I would recommend for anyone wanting to give their hair a boost of hydration. Love this!

I love this hair mask! It leaves your hair smelling divine throughout the day and leaves your hair manageable and soft after use.

It is easy an easy detangler and brings back life to the hair.

I used this product most as a hair mask while in the shower, applying after the conditioner was washed out for 2 minutes at the roots before rinsing it out. You can however once out of the shower put more on before blow drying it to reduce frizz and smooth dry ends.

I will definitely buy this product again as it’s so versatile! Have also used it prior to hair straightening. It really Is amazing and smells devine!

Loving this range to review. Great size packaging once again and sits nicely in the shower for ease of use. Im a little unsure what the 1001 uses for the mask will be but im sure i can think of a few. My main use of masks is after using both the shampoo and conditioner i get the excess water out of my hair and layer on the mask, its a similar consistency to the conditioner but not as thick and creamy, i comb this through and then i think i might try it on my legs as a shaving cream. Now thats two of the 1001 uses :) Brilliant shaving cream!! Nice moisturised legs! After a while i rinse the mask off my hair and once dry its lovely and soft and feels quite lightweight and moisturised. Definitely keen to try it again and i have a few times, ive also used it to style my dry hair although i found it a bit weird to be honest but i think i just used too much so will try that again. Its quite nice as a overnight hair mask but my tip for that is to use a old pillowcase as it leaves a bit of a greasy mark - comes off after washing thou no problems. All in all i love this entire range and the coconut scent just tips it off. Thanks Beauty Review :)

The L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Mask is a great easy to use hair mask for its price point.

This hair mask is probably got the most subtle scent of the L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut hair range. The texture is pretty thick and a little goes a long way when it comes to coverage. I like how you can use it multiple ways on wet or dry hair. You can even use it as an ordinary conditioner at a stretch.

Unfortunately, I don't think this product which fix any serious damage done to hair as a result of styling (e.g. Heat or Dye).

I really wanted to love this product, especially given it is such a multipurpose option and smells totally yummy. As per the instructions it can be applied to dry hair for extra moisture, as a leave in treatment, post shampoo or pre-styling. But the consistency on it seemed off, I think that is probably due to it being designed for so many things instead of just one thing well. I used it predominantly in the shower post shampooing and found that I needed to use quite a lot to feel like I got adequate coverage in my hair. My main concern would be that the converse would be true using it as a leave in treatment or applying to dry hair when it could be easy to go overboard. Given I have fine, curly hair it would be very easy to put too much in and I'd end up smelling really good but having limp, flat hair. As a personal preference I'd prefer a thicker hair mask that is just for the shower or will just use an oil post shower.

Loving this coconut oil hair mask. I have dry,frizzy, colored hair so I need to give my hair some nourishing treatments every few days to add some life to it. This comes in a easy to use 300ml tub with twist off lid. The mask itself feels quite thick and creamy and has a nice smell. I used this under the shower after shampooing my hair. The mask is easy to apply and I had it on for about 3 mins before rinse it off. I did have to give it a good rinse to get all the product out but after the wash I found my hair to be quite soft to touch and very easy to brush and style and I noticed that I had less hair fallout while brushing, so that’s an added bonus for me. For the pack size I think it is reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend this hair mask. A winner for my hair type.

A very large jar (300 mls) of white cream the consistency of a facial moisturizer with a very faint coconut smell. At first I was confused about the use of both the Hair Oil and the 1001 Users Mask product as they both seemed to claim to have very similar functions. This product can be used several ways, as a pre shampoo to give your hair loads of nourishment, as an overnight treatment or as a leave in treatment so I tried it as a leave in conditioner after I have washed and dried my hair rather than using the Hair Oil. It give my hair the wet look for a while but once I styled my hair this seemed to disappear. However unlike the Hair Oil I found my hair was a little greasy and lank. This was more so the next morning Later in the week I tried the product as an overnight nutrition boost and when I washed my hair the next morning it was very soft, and healthy looking. However I do wonder if both this product and the Hair Oil are needed. I think if you are washing and blow drying you hair every day then this product could be a good restorative but for me I found with using the combination of Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Oil my hair was looking healthy and I did not need the 1001 Users Mask product as well
