L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Purple Regime Reviews

Loved reviewing the Elvive Purple Regime, Im always looking for a good purple shampoo / conditioner so was super pleased and willing to give these a go. I've never used many of Loreal's haircare products, but am very impressed with these two products. The bottles are great and easy to use, you get a decent amount of product for a very reasonable price and they can be easily purchased from anywhere. They helped remove any brassy or orange tones from my hair and leave it feeling soft and silky which is something I have found a majority of purple shampoos / conditioners don't do. Smells great and doesn't stain badly as other products have in the past. Highly recommend and am grateful to have trialled them.

This review is for the purple shampoo and conditioner set.

I was impressed with this set and it worked well to soften and freshen up my hair. The purple shampoo and conditioner set worked to neutralise the unwanted tones. My blonde looks fresh, healthy and more cool blonde using this set.

The packaging is stylish and the purple looks great in my bathroom.

Also, some purple products can dry out my hair - but my hair felt amazing. It felt soft, manageable and very hydrated. It was easy to brush and style. Overall I have really liked using this set and L’Oréal has made yet another great product with this shampoo and conditioner set.

I always purchase my purple hair regime products from the salon and the products tend to be expensive. I found with the L’Oréal purple hair regime products that they are high quality and they do a fantastic job. The harsh, ugly, brassy tones and reduced, leaving my hair looking and also feeling better. My hair colour is more the tone / colour that I left the hairdresser with. My hair feels so silky and smooth. It is easier to manage- less knots and styling my hair is quicker too. These products are not just for blondes or greys but also for people with highlighted brunette hair. I love how inclusive this product is. The product size of these bottle is great and so is the affordability. I highly recommend and I will be repurchasing

Well, I've not used a purple shampoo/conditioner regime before although I have heard it mentioned quite a bit lately, my Mum is even using one so I was quite intrigued. I have blonde highlights and my natural hair colour has quite a lot of brassiness to it as well so I think this is the product I’ve been needing.

Before I even got started my 9 year old daughter opened the lids to have a smell and decided they smelt lovely, just like the shampoo and conditioner from the hairdressers. I would have to agree with her on that one.

I have heard that purple products can be quite drying, but the L’Oreal Elvive products had the completely opposite effect. My hair was actually a lot softer than after using my normal shampoo/conditioner. I let my hair dry naturally after using the purple shampoo/conditioner as it was Sunday. Normally there is no way I could leave the house with naturally dried hair but my hair actually looked presentable - that’s how soft it had dried.

I didn’t expect to see much of a difference after one use but I think I could actually notice the difference. It will be interesting to see how it works after many more uses. I didn’t realise at first that it is a weekly treatment and not an every day type of shampoo and conditioner - luckily I read the instructions, as I don’t always read them.

I’m quite impressed at the results from a supermarket shampoo and conditioner and would definitely recommend these products to my friends (and my Mum).

I enjoyed the pairing of these products. I found the texture of the shampoo to be not too runny and not too gloopy. The consistency of the conditioner was lush and felt lovely and soft applying. I found the shampoo and conditioner did brighten my highlights (in my blonde hair), and leaving on longer gave for a more pronounced colour once my hair was dry. I did however find that using both the shampoo and the conditioner made my hair very prone to holding onto scents e.g. cooking smells, which doesn't happen when I have previously used normal shampoo, then purple shampoo then normal colour protect conditioner. Overall, I would say these are great for on a budget and definitely do what they claim to.

As someone who must use shampoo and conditioner that match I was so excited to receive these to review.

The conditioner is a bit small - my hair is very long, and I use a lot of conditioner. But the instructions say to use this once a week, and I was my hair twice a week, so I wouldn't go through it as fast as I usually would.

Both products smell lovely and shampoo-y.

The shampoo is a revelation. It's thick and lathers well. I used maybe a 50c piece size and it was more than enough.

The conditioner leaves the hair feeling incredibly soft and silky.

The toning effect of these two products is amazing. My very yellowed blonde was left ashy and sultry.

AMAZING supermarket hair care!

The size of the products concerned me when I first received these products, however once I had used them for the first time I found that size was not an issue due to the small amount of product required to get good coverage. You only need to use this regime once a well to achieve great results, so overall the products last for much longer than I had originally assumed they would.

Both the shampoo and conditioner deliver on their promise of a rich and luxurious texture, and they smell great. The creamy consistency helps to leave hair soft and smooth, and I found that my hair was a lot less frizzy after using the regime.

After my first use I saw a visible difference in the tone of my hair. Any brassy or yellow spots were neutralised after the first wash, leaving a bright and vibrant blonde tone throughout my hair. As I continued to use the product from week to week, the results got better and better.

These are great products, with great results, that I highly recommend to everyone.

I was excited to trial these products on my long, thick, blonde hair.

Neither of them have much of a smell at the time but afterwards to leave that 'I just left the hairdresser' scent which is always a win.

The shampoo is quite a runny consistency and a deep purple as opposed to the conditioner which is quite thick and more of a light lilac. Both lather up nicely and spread well throughout the hair without using too much (usually I need a good handful of conditioner for my maine but this wasn't the case here).

I can't say I noticed a difference in colour like it says it will after one use however maybe over time this would change.

The duo is ok, nothing exceptional but not bad so could be a good cheap alternative over some of the more expensive purple shampoos out there!

I've always been a fan of Elvive and this range didn't disappoint,

I've got coloured blonde hair that gets very brassy toward then end of its colour lifecycle.

I found using both the shampoo and conditioner not only toned this down and blended it into my regrowth making it far less obvious, but it left my hair feeling A-MAZ-ING!

I would 100% repurchase I think this range is equivalent to any salon product i've tried and half the price. Highly recommend.
