These lashes are definatly worth the price. They add length and volume while still not looking too much. I love how easy they are to get a hold of aswell having them in a lot of new zealand shops is handy. I wear these lashes more for going out not every day as they go best with a full make-up look.
Tips: Remove the glue after use so you they will be good as new next time :)
I love using these lashes They are so easy to apply and they look amazing for a dramatic look or a photo shoot. Although I'm not a big fan of the glue it comes with it has a funny "off" smell
Tips: don't over do the glue and allow it to dry completely before applying make up. use a liquid eyeliner over were you have placed lashes it will cover any little gaps you might have missed
I really like these lashes! Easy to apply and stay together for a very long time! Re-Usable and create a great look.
Tips: Don't put too much glue on the lash, wait for it to dry a little bit so it becomes a bot sticky before putting it on your lid, it creates a better adhesive for some reason
i really like these lashes ! very easy to use and they are perfect when doing a more dramatic eye. the length is pretty long but overall they are fantastic !
I recently used Glam eye strip lashes on a pin up calendar shoot. The strips are easily mouldable to different eye shapes, light to wear and did not look noticeable fake on film. The flare on the ends helps achieve and enhance the desire cat eye look.
Tips: To reuse your lashes after wear, soak them the next day in eye make up remover and then gently stroke away the glue and any mascara.
I loved the look of these in the packet but once I had them on they looked to long and heavy still ok to wear tho. I think this was my poor picking when picking lashes. I however loved how easy they were to apply. they fitted to my eyes really well and the glue was great stayed on for the time I wore them. would defiantly buy this brand again but not this style.
I love the look of these, dramatic, full with the wing and all. I think they are good its just that they aren't as easy to apply as competitor eyelash brands (which I would prefer to use to these e.g Ardell). I don't use the glue provided as I find those little tubes you get never come with good glue. So I love the lashes and the look you get from them however I wish they were a bit easier to apply (maybe something to do with the lash band) and also that they didn't come with any 'extras' that I think are unnecessary.
Tips: Practice makes perfect with fake eyelashes!
Ran out of eye lashes, so I made a quick stop to Farmers. In my opinion, these are a bit 'hard' to put on as the line part doesnt stick well, so you would need to constantly hold it down to dry it before applying eye lash curler. It looks very sweet and fancy. These pair definitely looks really good on a night out. Would I buy it again? No. Although I was glad I tried it just to know I wont be making any more purchases. Think I will stick to ardell.
Tips: Use strong eye lash glue as the one that comes with it is not that great.
I love that these lashes can be found at Farmers, department stores and pharmacies. So when I need lashes quickly I'll go out and buy them simply because they look good and they're convenient! They're long lasting too, however, I hate the glue! I would recommend purchasing a separate glue, my friends and I always have trouble with it.
Tips: With this brand, I found that waiting under 20 seconds for the glue to 'dry' made them stick better. After taking them off, soak them in soapy warm water to get rid of excess glue so you can re-wear them!
I'm a big fan of false lashes but one of my pet peeves when it comes to them is that shiny, plastic look that some sets seem to have. Manicare seem to have that under control as these lashes blend well with you natural lashes and don't look super fake. Yes, fake lashes are fake lashes, unless you go for a natural looking set you can't avoid them not looking like what they are but there is "oh, your eyelashes look amazing" and looking like Harold the Giraffe (come on guys, we all remember that creepy puppet)
Miranda Lashes are a gorgeous flared set which give you that salutary cat-eye look and are a dream to apply. Personally I'm not a fan of the supplied glue, I prefer to use Duo Adhesive.
Tips: If you purchase these and really want to get use out of them but just aren't having any luck with applying them, cut the lash band in half and use the more flared lashes on your outer corners. A half/just under half set is way easier to apply and will give you practise making you a pro for you next full set :)
