Fool proof

I love this! I was excited to try it out but at the same time nervous because i dont normally wear lashes but this really looked great and sound very easy to apply.

The eyeliner is amazing it has a long thin brush and it flicks on so easy. Its a very quik dry and doesent smug at all.

So i applied al my make-up i also added my mascara and curled my lases just to give it that natural look with the falsies. The lashes was perfect lengh for my eyes and it applied very easy. It has 3 magnets on that stuck imidiatly onto the eyeliner. It looked great and felt ever better, it didnt feel heavy and it gave me that very pretty natural look.

These lashes are great and very easy to apply i love that you dont need any glue there is no sticky mess and its not time consuming.

Tips: Just try them out. You'll be pleasantly surprised

Great product

Easy to apply, lightweight and was a good product .The length was unreal and blended well with my lashes. The liquid eyeliner was a bit watery. I liked it and would use again for a special occasion.

Gorgeous lashes in minutes!

After having eyelash extensions for months I have been keen to try something like this. Lovely easy opening packaging and instructions. The first time I tryed these I didn’t use enough eyeliner so the outside magnet kept popping off. So the next time I applied two layers of the eyeliner. Let it dry completely before trying to attach the lashes. You need a super steady hand and minimal blinking while it drys or you end up with the eyeliner everywhere. They took quite a few goes to get them in place. I was worried they would feel foreign and heavy but they are suprisgly light and comfortable. Once you master applying them it’s easy. They are Easy to wear for a whole day. But I do keep checking that they havnt popped off. I found I needed to cut them shorter and each end has a magnet so i cut them so I had a magnet on each end. This made them not full size but far easier to apply and I found they stayed on much easier! All in all a great product that can be used over and over again. Great for a glam night out or anytime really.

Tips: Apply mascara to your natural lashes and let them dry completely first or your natural lashes don’t blend nicely with the fake ones.

Manicare Magnetising Eyeliner & Lash System

Received my parcel and tried them almost immediately. The eyelashes is good quality and comes mark (L) and (R). One draw back....I took extra care in removing thd lashes from the backing tape so as not to damage them in any way, but some sticky residue from the tape remained on the lashes and when trying to place them on my eyelids they stuck to my fingers.

Not thinking, obviously, I reached for my tweezers to hold the lashes in place while I try and place them....this did not go down well either, tweezers being metal and all.

I will not lie, there's a learning curve in placing these lashes on the magnetic eyeliner and getting them to line up perfectly with your natural lashes. It took me a couple of tries to line them up correctly but at least you dont have sticky goo to deal with each time you remove them.

All in all the lashes looks natural. The eyeliner glides on easily and looks fabulous. Removing and re-attaching is easy enough. Be patient and you'll eventually get the hang of it.

I would recommend this product. The lashes gives you that additional length and thickness in your lashes all ladies want without you ending up like a contestant on Ru Paul.

Go grab some from their website. Money well spent and glam up girls!

Thanks Beauty review for including us in this review. I gad great fun and tested my patience all in one go, but I looked absolutely stunning going to my work function. Big thumbs up!

Tips: Make sure you add ample eyeliner liquid to the inner and outer edges of your eye. I don't and the magnets would not stick. Had to remove and apply more eyeliner

Breakthrough Magnet Lashes

This was a really awesome trial to get and I have really enjoyed trying the Glam By Manicare Magnetising Eyeliner & Lash System.

First you apply the eyeliner, the give it about a minute to dry, then the lashes just stick right to it. It does have a very similar effect to glue, but I personally find it easier and less messy than glue.

The lashes do stay on all day, but like glue ones, can come up at the corners over the course of the day, and need more magnetic liner to fix.

I absolutely love the liner. The lashes were good quality lashes, but I felt needed four magnets, so you could cut them shorter at the end if need be.

This was an amazing improvement from the click on lashes from the likes of Ardell and with these ones I now feel magnetic lashes could replace my glue ones as they actually sit on the lash line and behave just like glue ones. My one suggested improvement would be a whole magnetic like rather than intermittent magnets.

Would I buy them again? Yes.

Tips: Be careful and precise with the eyeliner, otherwise you may use a lot more than you need just fixing around a stray bit of eyeliner.

It's a great concept.

As someone who has a mild paranoia about lash glue, I was quite excited about this system, and super stoked when I was sent it for review. The eyeliner is really good. It's a fine, Flexi-brush tip, which gives a lovely precise line, and would wing beautifully (if that's your thing- I can't do it very well!!). It's a great, opaque black, and cleans well if you mess up. The lashes themselves (I was sent the "intense" ones) I find to be quite tame compared to a lot of other lashes in terms of fullness and drama, but otherwise were quite nice. They attached well to the liner eventually, but it is a little fiddly, and it doesn't work well if you have a light hand with the eyeliner- a thicker line is better in this case. They don't appear to be intended to use with mascara to blend with the natural lashes, so I just mascara'd my natural lashes, and then spoolie brushed the two together. It made taking them off much easier, and no cleaning off of mascara to re-use. I took a couple of goes (as usual) to get my lashes in the right place, and found that the magnets take the liner with them. It comes right off where the magnets were in contact, so you have to go through again, re-line the gaps, wait for it to dry, then re-apply. Not so bad for the end of the night, but definitely not great if you have other things to do! Part of the claim of this system appeared to be a day-to-night looks made easy, just by changing lashes. I can't see that working too well unless you're also carrying your liner!! The lashes can also come away from the eye (with the liner!) with longer wear, and I wouldn't like their chances in a club setting, or anywhere you might get a bit sweaty. The liner flakes after a while, and the lashes can come loose depending on how close to the magnets your liner has given way. The system itself is quite heavy, and that also takes a little getting used to. Knowing that I took a few goes to get them properly attached to my eyes meant that I was a little paranoid that they were falling off, especially once I realised the propensity of the magnets to remove the eyeliner too. I think these are good for short-term wear, a dinner out, or something similar, but I wouldn't want to wear them for a full day event, a wedding say, without either having the liner on hand, a mascara to glue them to my lashes, or a HG mascara for when I gave up and took them off!! I'll definitely see what happens if/when they extend the lash range and probably give them another go, since they are the same price as Ardell lashes once you have the liner. For $50, the liner is a little pricey, but if you're a regular lash-wearer and have a phobia or general dislike of lash glue, then this might be the system for you. Just know that they may not like high winds or heavy rave clubbing!

Tips: Have a few practices before you try and wear them for real.

You really do need to shake the liner before use, and wipe off excess. If it goes in your eye, you will not enjoy it. Trust me on this. I took one for the team.

Definitely give the liner the 60 seconds to dry before you try and apply the lashes, treat the liner like your new lash glue,

Make sure you just spoolie through your natural lashes to blend them with the magnetic ones. Don't try and curl them together unless you have a plastic curler. I found my curlers wearing some lovely lashes at one point, and nothing on my eyes!!

So amazing!!

This product is crazy amazing! I really had my doubts about whether this would work - I mean magnetic eyeliner that lashes attach to? It sounds sci-fi! This product totally works and it is a million times easier than normal false eyelashes. I found the eyeliner quite black - it'd be cool if it came in different shades of black. It was easy to apply and then the lashes simply click on it it. I was amazed. I had the natural lashes and they really did look very natural. I had lots of comments about my lashes the night I wore them, but no one said "great false lashes" so I think they definitely looked pretty natural. The lashes stayed on well for the 4ish hours I wore them. Definitely recommend.

New Daily Lash?

My first thought about this magnetic liner and lash system was that it seemed very gimicky and I wasnt convinced that it would be suitable for all day wear. The liner was very black, which is something I really like, but I did feel that it was slightly watery and needed more than one layer to ensure it was solid black, while the lashes I had were "Khloe" and were labelled intense, I would wear these are everyday lashes. The liner applicator is a brush tip, which makes it very easy to swipe on the liner, but can be tricky when trying to fill any gaps as you have to swipe rather than dab. The lashes need to be applied with your hands as tweezers would have the magnets stick to them rather than the liner, which can also get a bit fiddly. The liner lasted a good 6 hours before it started to show signs of cracking on the corners of my eyes, which made the end of the lash lift, as there was not a solid base for the magnet to connect. At first I could definitely feel the extra weight that the magnets added, but after 15min or so, I didnt really notice it anymore. I was surprised that the bulk of the liner, excluding the corner, lasted over 9 hours and the lashes did not pull away, even when there was some mild wind. The packaging is what was expected, except for the spots underneath the lashes that held them in the tray, which made it hard to remove the lashes from the tray without distorting them. The product worked well and did what it said, but being a regular false lash user, I do still prefer gluing the lashes down to ensure the corners stay attached and also being able to wear them without liner. All in all this system of magnetic liner and lash worked better than I expected in my initial reaction, and for days when I do want to wear liner, I would definitely consider using them, and would also recommend to my friends who are confident using liner, but not lashes.

Tips: Make sure you don't put the liner on too thick, as this makes it hard for it to dry, and if you do blink while its drying it will transfer to your lid.

Fantastic Products

Glam Pro Magnetic Eyelash system by Manicure consists of two products: a magnetising liquid eyeliner, and magnetic eyelashes, both of which are sold separately.

The magnetising liquid eyeliner has a revolutionary formula that contains tiny invisible magnetising particles, and is long lasting and smudge-proof. The black eyeliner is packaged in a 5ml liquid eyeliner tube with a fine eyeliner brush.

The first time I tried using this liquid eyeliner, it went everywhere (in my eye, smudged on my eyelid) - it was a disaster. Using this eyeliner definitely takes a bit of practice, especially if you're like me and you're used to using liquid eyeliner in a pen style tube. I haven't used liquid eyeliner on a brush for years! Second attempt went better, and the liquid eyeliner stayed in place all day, did not smudge, flake or transfer.

Once the eyeliner was applied, I waited a few minutes for it to dry completely before lifting the magnetic eyelashes out of their case. I have the Natural ones called "Willow", and they're lightweight, reusable, and simply clip onto the eyeliner with three little magnets situated on the lash band. No mess, no fuss.

One thing I didn't like about this eyelash system is that the video on Manicare's website says you can simply pull the "Willow" lashes off and clip on the more dramatic "Khloe" lashes to go from a day to night look. when I removed the "Willow" lashes to show someone what the magnets looked like, it pulled off chunks of eyeliner off my eyelid, so it's not as simple as they say. The magnetic eyeliner does need to be touched up before they can be reapplied, its not as simple as take the lashes off and stick them back on again.

This happened the second and third times that I used the lashes, and I double checked the Manicare video to see if it happened to their "Glambassador" as well, and it looks like it does, although they sneakily cut the video and she comes back with perfect eyeliner before putting fresh lashes on. If you know what you're looking for, you can see where the magnet lifts off her eyeliner in the video, just before they cut the scene. (I'll post a pic of what happened with mine on the Photo Wall).

Overall, this magnetic eyelash system was much easier to use than traditional lashes and eyelash glue. They're easier to fit, as there's nothing sticky on the eyelash band, so you're able to place them right up against your lashes and move them around before having to clip them in place. I loved trialling this system and even though the initial cost is a bit pricey (it's the eyeliner that's expensive), once you have the eyeliner, replacing the lashes if/when they wear out is actually not that expensive. I'd recommend this eyelash system and will definitely continue to use them.

Tips: Make sure you wait until the eyeliner is completely dry before you clip the lashes on.

Manicare Magnetising Eyeliner and Lash System

I really wanted to love this eyeliner and lash system, because the idea is genius, however I feel that there is more improvements to be made.

The eyeliner itself is pretty good. It is a nice pigmented formula and the brush tip is quite thin and flexible. It dries to a slightly shiny finish, and does not smudge when dry, but it does tend to flake off throughout the day, even if the eyelash is not attached.

The instructions say to wait 60 seconds for it to dry before applying the lashes, but I found I had to wait a few minutes for it to fully dry otherwise the lashes wouldn’t attach and “click” onto the eyeliner.

I have the Willow Natural style eyelashes, which are very natural-looking and lightweight. The two end magnets sit right at the end of the eyelashes so it could be tricky for those who need to trim them.

Each eyelash has three strips of magnets attached which are supposed to be “micro magnetic” but quite noticeable, especially in the inner corner and the eyeliner has to be drawn quite thick to hide them. Then lashes themselves were pretty easy to apply using my fingers. I found it was easiest for to “click” the centre magnet in place and then the end ones and adjust accordingly.

When I first used them, they did not feel very secure and unfortunately started coming off after ~30 minutes of wear-time while sitting at my desk. I found that the inner corner magnet tended to flick up more, which could be because I usually taper the my eyeliner and it is thinner in the inner corner. However, I also experienced lifting of the outer corner magnets and the centre magnet too. When the magnets lift, they also take off the chunk of eyeliner that it had adhered to, leaving a very noticeable bald eyeliner spot. This occurred both with and without the use of primer on the eyelid. Because the eyeliner is removed, there is no point pressing the lash back down, so eyeliner reapplications are definitely needed.

I also didn’t particularly like the packaging. The lashes are stuck to the plastic packaging with two spots of 3M adhesive quite securely, making it quite a struggle to pull the delicate lashes off without ruining them. As careful as I was, this ended up bending the lashes and they were left clumped together and sticky, which ended up catching onto dust throughout the day.
