Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

Not what I have expected and I have used better BB creams. Doesn't really do well in covering up blemishes/acne scars. Not very good in oil control. Colour match is alright.

I love Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream! I tried Garnier BB cream about 5 months ago and have been using it daily ever since. I find it light enough for everyday use, it feels great on my skin and gives great coverage. I also love how my skin feels fresh unlike the clogged feeling of some foundations. This product gives my skin a vibrant healthy glow. Recommend Garnier BB Cream to all.

I've never been a wearer of liquid foundation but recently my skin got quite bad and needed a bit more coverage. This BB cream gives the coverage of a liquid concealer and events out red marks and skin tone perfectly. I apply, let it dry then apply my concealer over the top before setting with powder. the oil free formula is a lot better but the disadvantage is that the skin colour tone available is quite pale and so unfortunatly requires more applications of foundation, bronzer etc. to achieve a tanner, naturally glowing effect aswell as the flawless look.

Initially I really liked this BB cream. It is a cheaper daily alternative to heavier foundation, moisteriser and SPF. It gives a nice light natural-looking daily coverage and is lightweight on the skin. However, after a while the product developed a strong alcohol/chemical smell. I don't what caused this (maybe it was just the one I had), it didn't change how the product applied or worked but I took it as an indication of the ingredients being put in it and it wasn't the smell of something you would want to be putting on your delicate facial skin?

I have acne as well as the scaring that goes along with it and this bb cream is a light cover up that feel like I'm only wearing moisturizer but yet does the job of foundation without the heavy feeling. Oh yes, and no more oily skin during the day

I love this product! I don't like to wear alot of makeup at work, so this product is perfect. It glides on smoothly and doesn't feel slimey or go cakey. I find it gives me great coverage and makes my skin look flawless and radiant. It is well priced and I think one of the better BB creams on the market. The tube is small enough to fit in your handbag and take every where with you.

After all the hype over BB creams I really wanted to try one out but did my research and found that very few were inexpensive, good for combo/oily skin and made in a light enough colour for me! I managed to snag a sample of this BB cream and immediately went out and bought it after seeing the results!

I am about an NC20 for reference and the light shade in this suits me pretty well (maybe a tad too pink for me but easily fixed by mixing with my foundation or using a slightly more yellow powder). PROS: I like the squeeze tube packaging because it is sanitary and makes it easy to get the product out (I think the product is a little watery though, so you can sometimes get too much on accident, but I guess the more watery it is the easier it is to blend/you have more time to blend it out). You only need a tiny amount of this product to cover your whole face too which is great! (I tend to do one thin layer with a pea size amount and then take more and build up the coverage a little where needed).

It gives good coverage, I would say good light to medium and on a good day this would cover most of the redness on my cheeks and minor blemishes, I always use a concealer under my eyes though and on any areas which are a little worse for wear (breakouts etc). It sets really nicely to a matte finish (would not recommend fro dry skin because of this) which is not sticky and so I only need to set my T zone (where I always get oily) and any concealer with powder. It has great oil controlling properties (I eventually get subtly glow rather than oil slick) which is a nice change to most of the foundations I own.

CONS: It doesn't last as long as some of my long wearing foundations, I would say maybe 6 or so hours (depending on how oily I get) before it starts to fade a little but considering its a BB cream and doesn't claim to be long wearing, you can't really complain! It also smell like alcohol so if you have sensitive skin/are sensitive to smells you may not like that.

Overall I really like it, its a great alternative to a heavy foundation for everyday wear because it feels a lot lighter and looks more natural so I would definitely recommend trying it out! I will repurchase :)
