Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

The BB cream does what it says... it brightens and gives your skin a light coverage. However, I just didn't like the texture. It seemed a bit dry and I felt I needed to moisturise my skin before putting on the BB cream (and I have combination normal to oily skin type). I have very fair skin, and the light colour was simply too dark for me. It's a good product, but it just didn't tick all of the boxes for me.

Matches my skin colour perfectly. Love the texture and the coverage. However, despite being oil free, it still causes my skin to breakout if I use it regularly. Not the type of blemish I normally get either, instead they are ones that sit below the skin. As other reviewers have said, within hours skin looks shiny!

I use this the Garnier BB Cream daily. I tried the other BB cream by Garnier but didn't do it for me. But this new oil-free formulation i love. It's very light, at first I didn't think it would have such good coverage as it isn't thick.. But as i applied, I could definitely see the difference, and actually hides imperfections. As a mother of a 2 year old, i no longer have time i used to, to take my time with make up, but this helps a lot with my daily routine. My skin gets quite oily throughout the day, and this helps a lot. Best thing about it.. You can buy it at the supermarket!

I hated the first original BB cream because of its hard to work with formula, I found it very tacky and shiny and very patchy from sweating (even just slightly). When the new formula came out I was keen to try it. I purchased both light and dark colours and mixed them and the shade still wasn't right, I had to blend down my neck alot, I feel like the stay power with a good powder on top was very good with the slight exception of it looking cakey. I personally felt a burning sensation when I put it on, but I think that was the alcohol in it, I also broke out from this BB cream so it's not for me. But it not a bad product but its not an amazing product either, I think it's each to their own with this one girls! X

I didn't like original Garnier BB cream but when I saw the oily-combination one I had to try it out. The reason I never liked the first one was because it made my face look shiny so I always had to use powder over top. I was able to use this oily skin formula by itself. Out of all the BB creams I have tried it has the best coverage. The only con was that the liquid was far too runny. Maybe it has to be for the formula to be effective, I don't know. But it made it a little more difficult to blend.

I use this because it's easy - SPF, light coverage, the right price - but I can't get past the chalky feel it leaves on my skin.

The blemish coverage is only light and doesn't cover red and pigmented areas . I'm wondering if at 36, this cream is better suited to younger breakout- prone skin. On the whole though, the coverage is fine for casual days when you don't feel like wearing a full on foundation.

For dry skin, this cream is not a complete moisturiser. If there was a 'dry skin' formulation and a higher SPF rating, then this would be a must-have product for summer. I would happily overlook the texture issues for all that.
