Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I thought that this Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream worked way better than i had originally thought. I have never tried these before so i'm grateful that I got the chance and would now consider starting to use them as my skin was no longer as oily as usual and it covered up my face but still looked fresh without the caked on look that make up gives! Overall thought it was a great product!

I was lucky enough to get to trial this for BR.

It comes in a soft tube which I think is great because I'll be able to get every last bit of the BB cream. The cream itself; I would classify as more of a liquid as it's quite runny. I don't like how easily it comes out of the tube because I wasn't expecting it to be so runny, I squeezed a bit too hard and a bit splattered out.

I firstly applied as recommended, and applied like I would a moisturiser. That was a huge fail. My face was a streaky mess. So I reapplied with a flat top brush and it covered my blemishes awesomely! I was really surprised and happy.

I did need to use concealer on my dark circles and certain spots. But all in all I'm really happy with the coverage. I didn't set it with powder or finishing spray and it is 8.30pm, and although my cheeks, chin and forehead are still covered well, all around my nose, there is pretty much no product left and it's oily, which doesn't really bother me at all. I'm so stoked that this lasted a whole work day for me (8.30-2.30).

I recommend setting it with a finishing spray or powder to get the longest possible wear out of it. I would also recommend to ladies with combination skin.

I was super excited to start this trial as i stuggle with oily skin and breakouts and i must say IM IN LOVE!! It was super easy to apply (i used a sponge) and it didnt feel heavy on my face which is amazing!! Ive struggled with foundations as my skin always breaks out and goes super red usually an hout after putting on make up. The first fee days i used the BB cream i didnt notice a huge change but after using it for a foundation for a night out with my girls and that sealed the deal for me, looking back in the photos and there was almost no red!! And my pores wernt as noticable as usual!! And i still havnt had a breakout due to the cream!! Its perfect for a foundation or for under your foundation :) i noticed that if i didnt use a sponge then it can streak but thats usual for any kinda cream :) i def recomend this for ladies wiyh oily skin, even tho it doesnt take away all your oilyness BUT it makes your face look and feel amazing

I'm a busy active professional and love this BB Cream. It is easy to apply - goes on smoothly with coverage that evens out my skin tone. It has great moisturisng qualities and doesn't leave me with that dry makeup look. because it has such a smooth consistency, I only need a little so find its lasts months. Slightly perfumed with a pleasant smell but again not enough to irritate my sensitive skin. I generally do not need to reapply it unless I have something else on after work and need a bit of extra coverage. I do like the fact you can apply a second layer if you wish. I am happy the product delivers what it promises and have been using it consistently for over a year now. It is quick and convenient to use and travel -safe in the plastic tube.

I like the product for the fact that it is easy to apply, and isn't heavy. Working in a corporate environment I don't like it for an all day, flawless skin look, I feel it isn't great as a foundation alternative for work but in the weekends or popping out at night for a few hours it is perfect.

I will update as I use the product more but so far I like how this product instantly hides the redness in the skin because it is quite yellowy based I am fair so it may still be a little dark for pale skin but that makes it good for summer and night time when we can get away with a darker foundation. It did help with oily skin and has a great coverage and evens out skin tone. I have not used it often enough to see long term results I really like how there is 40ml in the tube most foundations only hold 30ml so that makes me more inclined to buy. Much better then the bb creams in the other wider tubes of this brand

I really like this product. I have pretty normal skin with oiliness in my T zone. It does what it says it will do by reducing imperfections (Doesn't cover completely, I use concealer for any bad redness or acne) and provides a matte finish. This BB cream doesn't make my face oily and the matte isn't too matte which is great as it keeps your face natural. The formula is light and feels great, just like wearing any face moisturiser. The only downside to this product is the packaging. It is in a tube with a twist lid with quite decent sized hole where the product comes out and because the product is quite thin and liquidy in consistency, a lot of product can come out at once and can get very messy. A pump bottle or a smaller opening in the tube would work better for this product.

I've tried a couple of BB creams over the past year, but I haven't been completely satisfied with a product. Obviously, I was delighted to find this in the mail, as I had heard rave reviews about it.

What I liked: I really love the runny texture of this product. I've been using Revlon's BB cream, which is a really thick paste. The Garnier BB cream flows easily out of the bottle and goes on smooth. I found that the first few times I used it, I used too much! I'd recommend starting with half of what you think you need, and then building from there.

The BB cream gave great coverage and was amazing on my complexion. I'm a redhead with freckles, so I often find foundations a bit weird on my skin. The BB cream lets my freckles show through naturally, while evening out the ruddiness in my cheeks and other blemishes.

Garnier claims that this product: 1. Hydrates for 24hrs 2. Evens tone 3. Corrects blemishes 4. Boosts healthy glow 5. UV Protection SPF 15

I found it did almost all of these things. My only complaint is that it didn't moisturise my skin especially, and certainly not for 24 hours. I found that, if not really thoroughly worked in, the cream sat weirdly on top of my skin without sinking in. I found it best to apply the BB cream immediately after moisturising (I use coconut oil) for best results.

My only other comment is that it would be great to have a higher SPF factor (see above: redhead). The Revlon BB cream I have is SPF 30, so I may switch to that on really sunny days.

I got to try this as part of the trial and I'm delighted! I have tried the anti ageing version and also the sensitive and while I loved them they just weren't right for me, now I'm convinced that the oil free version is my miracle in a bottle. First up I love the longer tube it's a great way to differentiate Garniers BB creams. When I first used this one I found it a lot runnier than the others but hey that's all good, it blended into my skin instantly and so easily I was pretty much hooked from there. I got the light colour and it's pretty close to what I need, I have been using it everyday since I got it and I've now put my other BB creams away! This is my new favourite! It covers my redness and my scars pretty instantly and I'm even not using as much concelar, my skin is feeling great and looks great too, towards the end of my day I usually get very oily around my t zone but so far so good only a tinsy bit of oil and that's right before I take my makeup off for bed. Overall I'm totally convinced with this product it's true to its claims and I definately will continue to use it and tell others, thanks BR I love it!

No-one could tell me what a BB cream was - not a foundation, not a primer, so what then? Still not really sure but it does what it says on the tin. Pores gone, red patches gone, nice and light but good coverage. Totally happy to wear alone or under foundation. Lasts well enough all day at the weekend but on my oily skin in office aircon I did touch up in the afternoon at work. The box is not attractive. I'm not sure i would have picked it up in a shop based on the box! Also the product is very runny. After the first time opening it there was product all over the lid and you have to be careful when using. Crucially I think it might make it onto my essential list :)
