Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

My face is nothing but a huge shiny mess with or without makeup. I was looking forward to this product as I had been looking for something like this. I love it........but i did need to apply my usual face cream first. The first time I used it I felt like I needed to apply more as it felt a little dry but once I used my cream then the BB cream it was perfection. I keep checking hourly to see if there was any shine sneaking back but no, well not for at least 4-5 hours and I just reapplied, lightly. This is a product I will definitely recommend to my friends. I think this product is quite "okay". It's perfect for young girls starting to get interested in make up, light coverage, small tinting and it's a moisturizer and sunscreen in one. It's also great for the weekend, if you wanna look okay but not over done for a Sunday afternoon slap this on with some pink lippy and some mascara then your pretty face on a lazy Sunday is good to go. But don't touch your face if you can, it comes off easy and if you sweat easy then this is a no-no.

I was super excited to be included on this trial. I have used the product daily for several days now and have found it excellent as a base or with moisturizer added into it. I am fair but the colour comes out darker than I suit which was such a shame. It lasted well and gave a good coverage when used on its own. It was quite drying and found it felt quite heavy on the skin. I am thinking perhaps I signed up for the wrong type of cream. It Glides on smoothly and was super easy to apply. Perhaps had it been very fair it would've suited me better. Will persevere and see if I adjust to it or find a better way to apply so it is lighter. Mixing with my usual moisturizer has made it much easier to wear.

I was very skeptical about this cream as I do not generally have good experiences with liquid or cream foundations/concealers/cover-ups. But this far succeeded my expectations. I was expecting to have a hard time colour matching with my skin and that it would leave residue on my skin, but I was wrong. This cream glided on smoothly and blended well with my skin tone. More importantly the oil-slick effect I was expecting was non-existant. It was not oily at all, nor dry and crinkly like other creams made for combination skin. It really does leave a beautiful matte finish, and covers my darks circles quite well with out drowning my face in make-up. All in all a great cream for those with combo-skin wanting to smooth out imperfections!.

I've only tried 2 other brands of BB creams, and I wasn't really impressed. I thought that this one would be the same, but I was pleasantly surprised! I applied it to my face with my flat top brush because I don't like using my hands for stuff like that. It blended really well and the coverage was better than I was expecting. It covered my acne scars really well, and even covered my dark under eyes pretty well too! I usually put a powder foundation over the top of my BB cream because I need more coverage, but I didn't need to with this BB Cream. It lasted all day without rubbing off, looking cakey or needing a touch up due to my skin being oily. It looked very natural, evened out my skin tone very well and controlled the shine. I have a hard time finding liquid foundations that are the right shade for me because I'm really pale, but the light shade was the perfect match for my skin. I did find the BB cream quite runny, but the small hole made it easy to manage compared to other brands I've tried that have a bigger hole, which makes too much come out! A little really does go a long way with this product. I found if I applied too much, it would look too dark or orangey but when I apply a tiny amount, it looks amazing. I've had trouble with finding the perfect BB cream before, I've used high end ones, and drugstore ones, and have only ever found one that I've truly loved and thats a korean BB cream, but this BB cream was fantastic. I was nervous it would break me out, or would wear away over the day but it didn't. I've trialled it using different ways, using powder under, powder over, no powder and every single way it looks great. It lasts all day. The medium is slightly to dark for me, but nothing I can't work with. I would most definitely purchase this BB cream again, I'm impressed Garnier, well done!

I tried this product, and after using it for a day I asked my sister and my Mu to use it, to try out the colouring of this product. It is absolutely perfect! It fit all three skin tones, which are in the medium range, and it had extremely good coverage for such a light and breathable product. It was really good to the skin, and looked amazing! I am definitely going to try it again, because it is one of the only BB creams in which didn't make my face look like some slimeball thing. Great for teenage skin like mine, which is prone to acne and shine. Would definintely recommend, I love this product and it'll become a favorite of mine for a long time. Quite easy to get away with at school too (Not that I wear makeup and break the rules *cough cough*)

I have tried about 5 different BB creams - a couple have come close but none have been spot on until now! The Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free (in light) is amazing, I can put it on at 8am in the morning and come home at 5.30pm and still not have the oily sheen that I was getting with other BB creams. The colour matches really well, and I found it easy enough to blend. The only complaint I had about the cream itself was that I found it too runny - if it was slightly thicker I think it would be even easier to handle and spread. I loved the long slender shape of the bottle, but for practicality wise I do prefer the shorter wider bottles that other Garnier BB creams come in. Overall I would give it a 9.5/10 - so happy that I finally have a BB cream that works so well with my oily skin!

Garnier oil free BB cream is a great option for those with oily/combination skin. It is matt while still looking natural on your skin. I apply mine with a flat top kabuki brush and find that it blends beautifully, it also has buildable coverage (which I love) so I've been using it confidently instead of my foundation. It's light weight and easy to forget you are wearing it. It also lasts all day which I didn't expect. The only downside for me is the lack of shades, I'm just a tad too pale for it-I think it would be great in summer once I have some colour but I would probably wear it year round if I could get a lighter shade. I recommend trying this I don't think you'll be disappointed. It also didn't irritate my sensitive skin which is a big plus!

...unfortunately for me, the shade medium is far too pale for me (I must be a medium deep, which is not available in this range), however instead of using it for its proper purpose, I decided to give it a go as a primer for my foundation.

You can definitely tell it is oil free as soon as you put it on your face. It went on easily and dried up the tiny amount of oiliness I have around my T-Zone. This product is definitely perfect for all those ladies out there with slightly oily skin.

After applying to my face, I did notice that it had created a pretty flawless base for me to apply my foundation with. I also noticed that throughout the day my foundation lasted slightly longer on my face than it does with just primer alone, so I guess that is one bonus.

I am a little guttered that the colour was not right for me as I would love to find a product that delivers everything that this one says it does. Unfortunately as I have already said, this colour was far too light, hence the low rating for this product! I could however tell that on the right skin colour it would definitely give an even tone and also that matte finish the product says it gives....just not for me :o(
