Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

Was so excited to be selected to be part of the trial team for this product! I generally wear a medium coverage foundation, and don't tend to go for the BB's or lighter foundations, but I honestly love this product! I've used this product every day since it has arrived and have noticed the difference in my skin. First impressions were quite good, I applied product with my fingers not a brush and the coverage was surprisingly good. I did apply some concerler to pimples as these weren't sufficiently covered by the BB. I had the lightest colour and this was perfect for my skin tone and blended out well. Overall i found the formula to be quite wet on my skin, but this did dry into my skin after a wee wait. After just about a week of using this I have noticed a bit of a difference in my skins tone. The colour is more even overall and i haven't got any new spots which is nice. Would recommend this to my friends in a heart beat, also good that there are lots of different formula for different skin types. Very glad that I got the oil free one I found that it stayed on my face for a full day without sliding off, if I was going to have an extra long day I would probably put a wee dust of powder on too just for the extra stay power. Im in love with this BB will be buying it when this tube has run out!

I was extremely excited to be invited to trial this as I haven't had much success with BB creams before. My first time using this I was really happy with the results. It gave me a nice and even coverage and covered up all my redness that I have around my nose, help hide my dark undereye circles AND hide my enlarged pores! (I'm excited to see how my pores look after four weeks as it says that this BB cream can reduce pore size)

I loved how it gives your skin a nice matte look and at the end of the day it had definitely helped with keeping my skin shine free.

I got mine in the medium shade. My husband didn't even realize I had anything on my skin, thats how natural it looks. Its definitely my go to moisturizer now.

I also used this as a primer and it helped my foundation stay all day and because it controls oil, I didn't need to powder throughout the day to keep the oil at bay. It helped me to achieve an even coverage and gave me a flawless look.

I'm definitely a BB cream convert now

Im not usually an overall fan of bb creams due to their lack ofe coverage I find that this one covers any redness very well and conceals well, the overall texture is very thin and runny not something that I am acostumed to using/wearing the formula seems to be very long wearing and does not melt towards the wnd of the day

overall I think that this bb cream does its job very well and the only dislike I have about it is the texture but that changes once applied to the skin anyway also this bb makes a really good primer/ base for foundation its a win/win from me xx

I was excited to try this Garnier bb cream as I haven't had much experience with bb cream, only trying one other bb cream in the past. I, like many others were part of the big trial for beauty review on the Garnier bb creams, lucky me! (Yay)

First of all, the packaging is in a long tube with the distinctive Garnier look. I think it looks quite stylish and rather high-end. When I opened the tube for the first time a huge amount came out, so I think in this case a pump would have been a better option and mean less wastage of product.

The consistency is similar to that of a liquid foundation, and my first thoughts was that I'm so glad I got the right colour of light for my pale skin. I decided to apply the bb cream using my Real Techniques brush, which I'm absolutely loving at the moment!

Using the RT brush I buffed the bb cream into my face, starting from my cheek and moving all across my face. After I finished the application I was rather surprised at the good coverage it had, I really didn't expect bb creams to be this effective.

What I really loved was the light feeling of this on my skin, it feels like I'm not wearing anything and has a lovely satin like finish on my skin. I'm impressed with bb cream and felt like it really gave me a natural, lovely finish.

Towards the end of the day, the bb cream had faded off in areas around my face, like my t zone. However, as its a bb cream I wouldn't expect it to have the longevity of a longwearing foundation.

I'm still a lover of my medium-full coverage foundations (Clinique Even Better and Nars Sheer Glow) so bb cream won't be surpassing these anytime soon. But, I see this Garnier bb cream will be perfect for days that I'm just going to be staying at home and want a more light, natural finish.

Overall, I'm really impressed with this bb cream and think it will definitely be a staple of mine going forward.

Was so happy to get to review this, have heard a lot about bb creams and garnier is a brand I like. I'm only on day 2 of trial but have to say this bb cream is awesome! As a busy mum I rarely have more than 2 mins to try look presentable.

- product is quite runny, first time I applied I did as said on bottle which is apply like a moisturiser.. This didn't work streaky face all over so I will use a sponge or brush from now on. - this is the perfect shade for me, I have freekles and this blends in and makes me all one shade (lol) - perfect matte finish!! -stays on all day. Re touch in late avo to last longer. - today I've used a powder on top and I'm super happy with the look...no need for a foundation today! -lightweight feels like a moisturiser and I'm hoping all the goodness in it will be good for my skin overtime. -doesn't have a strong smell - feels good ;-) -no oily or patchy parts of face! Which is a big thing for me!

I was lucky enough to be able to trial this Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector Oil-free SPF 15 BB Cream as a part of the numerous trial invites that were sent out to numerous members.

Upon receiving the product, my initial impression was the packaging. It came in a small rectangular box which was obviously Garnier. The actual packaging of the product was a long thing tube with an easy screw lid. To be quite honest, my initial thought was that there wasn't much product at all for the size and price that it is sold for for.

However, opening the product, I realised that the BB cream was very thing and more of a liquid compared to my past experiences with other BB creams. But I wasn't sure if this was a good thing or not...

When I used the product, I applied it immediately after my morning routine of scrubbing, toning and moisturising my face. My skin was soft and fresh at this point and the application of the BB cream was very easy. Because of the liquidness I found it highly easy to apply... but I also found that I was more prone to streaks when applying which I didn't find as a problem with other BB creams that I've used. This is an easy fix though - rub the area with a damp sponge!

I wore it during the day and also until around 9 o'clock at night. I found it to be fine all day at this point - no major slipping or oxidising to report. However, I did find that as my skin slowly dried, the dry skin became more prominent throughout the day due to the BB cream sticking to the dry skin. This wasn't a major issue though as it's something that wasn't very obvious, only to me.

I usually use light when it comes to Garnier BB creams but I found the shade medium to be a perfect colour for me. It wasn't too light, but it also wasn't too dark. It matched my skin perfectly. I did not look orange either! Instead a healthy tan. I was able to blend the BB cream into my jawline to make it less obvious that I was wearing it.

In terms of coverage, I found this BB cream to have a light to medium coverage, which to me, is to be expected of a BB cream. I would not expect a heavy coverage with a BB cream - that is what foundation is for. I found it light and easy to wear with even the most natural looking make up (and even without any make-up!). It was not obvious to others that I was wearing it (I did ask).

Overall, I would truly recommend this BB cream to those with combination skin. I found that not only didn't it slip very easily but also it didn't oxidise or cake a lot compared to others. I found it very easy to apply and it lasted all day.

I have oily skin with rosey red cheeks. Packaging: 2/5 The BB cream is in a long tube that sits on its lid. The reason i rate the packaging so badly is because the cream is very runny so when the tub is stood upright the product pours out when you open the lid. Smell: 1/5 The smell of this is awful it smells like pain thinner, which makes me worry what is in the cream Application: 4/5 after getting it out of the tube hopefully with it not pouring out all over you the cream is easy to apply like any other foundation. Coverage: 4/5 This product covers really nicely. Covers up my red cheeks and has a lovely matte finish. Colour: 3/5 I chose light, my skin is quite fair however the light was too light for me and I am guessing the medium would be far too dark. This is unfortunate that there are only two colour options. I did however manage to overcome this issue by applying some bronzer. With this cream as a base and a little bronzer to match it to my skin the result was awesome . Overall 3/5 I did like this product, it went on well and lasted all day. I still feel like my face was oily at the end of the day however. The smell really put me off as it reminded me off chemicals which does not make me feel good about putting it on my face. The overall look of the skin once this is applied is actually really nice and does a better job than some foundations I have used.

I got the Garnier BB Cream as part of the trial in the shade light. I was really looking forward to trialling the product however I found it was 2-3 shades too dark for me. I wore the products a few times hoping it may tone down after a bit however the product oxidised and appeared orange and streaky after a while. I liked the consistency as it was easy to spread onto your face although it is a lot runnier than I expected it would be. I feel like it would be a really good product if the shade matched my skintone. I did try the product a few other times with both primer and powder over top just to see if it helped. Primer did stop it oxidising, however it was still too dark.

I was quite skeptical of this product as I had tried another version of this last year and it was a disaster. I was pleasantly surprised with the oil free variety, I have a very oily t-zone and this BB cream matched my skin tone (light) perfectly, gave great light/medium coverage and kept me relatively matte all day.

The product feels light on the skin and gives a nice finish. I haven't noticed any difference in my skin though, but it is a fantastic product for everyday use.

I received a trial of this BB cream through Beauty Review and overall it was a great product. Unfortunately due to my own fault, I did not pick the right shade for my skin tone, I picked Medium and it was too orange for my skin, however in my defense the cream was 3+ shades darker than the colour shown on the Garnier website.

The packaging was cute and small, perfect to pop into your handbag for touch ups. The product was quite a runny product, so it's not for those who like a thicker BB cream. It had a light to medium coverage as you would expect for a BB cream and was easily buildable with a couple applications. This BB cream is relatively long-lasting, it lasted for around 6 hours with no touch-ups, which is what I would expect for a drugstore product. It does do what the packet says in terms of matifying completely and absorbing excess oils from oily skin. This product contains SPF 15+ but I would not base my purchase on this sun protection because SPF 15 does not give very high level of protection.

A negative for this product is that it can become quite patchy on the skin when not correctly applied. You've got to be quite careful about evenly applying this runny product as some parts can get more BB cream than others and it can look thinner and thicker on different parts on your face.
