GARNIER'S new BB Cream,  combats shiny, oily skin, by combining the power of ultra-absorbent mineral pigments for an immediate matte look and perfect, even-toned skin.

The oil-free BB cream works in five ways. It reduces imperfections, moisturises, gives skin a healthy glow, delivers a beautiful matte finish to skin and provides all-important sun protection with SPF 15.

GARNIER'S Oil-free BB Cream provides instant results while also improving the skin’s quality over time. After four weeks the results are clearly visible; skin is less oily, pores reduced in size, imperfections are visibly reduced and skin radiance is improved.

It has a  new active ingredient,  Mineral perlite - a powerful volcanic rock extract known for its ultra-absorbing properties.

Mineral perlite is able to retain up to two-and-a-half times its weight in oil and water and is five times more absorbing than talc, meaning any excess sebum is absorbed to fight that oily shine. This combined with uncoated mineral pigments gives the skin an even tone and a perfectly matte finish

GARNIER Miracle Skin Perfector-Oil-free BB cream is available in two shades - light and medium.

A handy tube to have...

So it wasn't perfect - but I did quite like it! I've previously used the 'normal' version of the Garnier BB cream but because my skin is 'combination' thought that the oil-free version might be a better fit for my skin. Apparently that's not necessarily the case. I found that the oil free version if used straight on my cleansed skin (i.e. no base moisturiser) was too drying and gave my skin a dry/flakey look on my dryer areas (cheeks mostly). However - if used over a moisturiser or as a 'topper' over the normal-skin BB cream it had a great mattifying effect. For me it was closer to a foundation than a tinted moisturiser (compared to the 'normal skin' version which I found a lighter covering and closer to a tinted moisturiser). For me personally this will be a fixture in my gym bag - but along side it's 'sister' the normal-skin version and I'll use them both when I want a more covered look. At the price it is, it's still a cheap option even when using both!

Tips: If you have combination skin I'd recommend going with the 'normal' rather than 'oil free' version if you can, otherwise make sure you moisturise under it.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free S

I trialled the combination to oily skin in a medium colour tone. My skin is normally reasonably oily down the T zone and I often get acne - too much for a 47 year old! When I first tried it out of the tube I felt it was a little too watery. It did however cover my skin very easily when applying. I applied it with my fingers and got a very good all over coverage. In the first couple of days, I didnt really like the product as it felt far too dry on my skin. My skin was not feeling moisturised at all. However after a few days I got used to it and actually quite enjoyed the look and feel. A friend commented on how perfect my skin looked - well that did it for me! The product lasted all day I guess - I dont normally re-apply unless I am going out in the evening. I would however cleanse the product off before re-applying. I havent bought this product in the stores yet, but fully intend to when the tube is finished. I have looked at Countdown on line and the pricing is very competitive. Quite reasonably to say the least given its a moisturiser and foundation in one. I am not 100% sure about the packaging - like I said on day one, it was very watery when I squeezed it out of the tube. I feel you may use too much given the watery consistency. However, I was a little more careful after day one when putting an amount into my hand for application. Yes I think it did what it says, my skin does feel a little dryer from using it, it gave me a near perfection look once applied - the colour was great for my skin tone. Yes I would definitely recommend it to my friends - they will be well impressed with the price!

Tips: Squeeze it out gently as tends to come out quick as a watery consistency. I applied by putting a small amount in my hand and applying with my fingers - got a great coverage.

Gariner Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free

I have been using this for a week now and I really like it. Its lightweight, doesn't feel like you are wearing a heavy foundation , a little goes a long way. Really good coverage. And at the end of the day my skin doesn't feel hideous like you do when using normal foundation like have in the past, usually cant wait to wash my face. With this I don't feel like this. Just feels like I'm wearing moistruiser. Definatly you get you money worth out this little tube

Tips: Just remember a little goes a long way, you don't need to squeeze a lot out of the tube. This I reckon will last me at least 6months

A nice product

I am 45 with very oily t zone and normal skin everywhere else, and I have been using the BB cream in oil free in fair. The colour wasn't the perfect match for me but looked natural after working it into my skin.

I product packaging is good. I'm not a package girl so as long as it's functional I really care if it looks pretty or not. The directions were clear and the product was easy to access with the tube it came in. I did have to keep in mind the product is quite runny and it was easy to get way to much product. Had it sort after the first couple of uses. I didn't notice any smell.

I used this product every day and used directly on the skin as well as over a primer. I found the product work well either way. I tried applying it with a beauty blender, fingers and buffing brush. I found the beauty blender made a more natural looking application but it did't last as long as with the brush or fingers. However if I set it with my powder it lasted longer. After trying it all I preferred to apply with fingers as you could build it up I areas that might need more attention.

I didn't settled I my fine lines but didn't make my skin appear as smooth as my other BB cream but it did an ok job. It hold back my oil which I have found a very tuff thing to do. It lasted about 6 hours before the oil came through and I was amazed at that has my oil would normally come through my foundation and my other BB cream.

Overall I found the product easy to use it I was amazed at how well it held back my oil. I would set with a powder on your more oily areas for a long wear time. I would buy this again and recommednd to a friend with oily skin.

Tips: Set with a powder for a longer wear time.

Garnier BB cream Oil-free

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. I found the consistency too watery and even though I received the light shade, it was still too dark for my skin tone. I used this product for just a bit over a week in a variety of ways and found that it did not help with oiliness of my skin. I changed my usual make-up regime to incorporate this product after my primer-which seemed to make it melt off quickly even though I use a setting spray that usually makes everything stay on all day long. I also tried wearing it as a tinted moisturiser during the day, but found that the oil came to the surface more and the colour was far too dark for my skin. I did not see an increase in the number of breakouts while using this product though, which is a bonus seeing as it did nothing for me. I'm fortunate that this was a trial product, because I will just be passing this on to my sister.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil Free

I have combination skin that is very prone to breaking out so I tend to stay away from a lot of foundations but this worked quite well with my skin! I used the one that is oil free in the medium shade. It is quite a liquidy formula so I used a beauty blender type sponge to apply mine. This gave a matte finish that looked flawless. The lasting power with this was not very great. I felt that after a little while my skin would get quite patchy. To try and avoid the patchiness I would touch up with a powder (also in a matte finish). I liked the packaging as I felt I could squeeze out exactly how much I needed each time. I only used about a pea sized amount for each application so I feel one tube should last a fairly long time so you will be getting value for money. Overall I think this product was a really good alternative for a liquid foundation (minus all the heaviness of wearing a foundation) if it is topped off with a powder to increase the staying power. It does not take very long to apply so it is perfect for all those mornings that I am running late for work! :)

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free

I am a big fan of Garnier's BB cream range and I use one daily so I was very excited to be chosen to trial Garnier's Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free SPF 15. This has a very light and runny consistency to it making the application process very easy (however it does drip from the bottle a bit) and it provides excellent long lasting coverage, it has a pleasant scent and I found that you do not need to use a lot of this product as a little goes a long way making this cost effective in my opinion. I have combination skin and the difference between the one I am currently using and this BB cream is that this has a matte finish to it so I wasn't left with that 'shiny look' that I normally get however I did notice that my skin looked a bit dry and cakey. I tried this with and without moisturiser and found that I have to apply moisturiser before hand because of the dryness however this was not an issue for me as it sat well on my face afterwards. I always use the medium shade from the Garnier BB cream range as I have an olive complexion and normally it blends into my skin perfectly however I found that this tone of medium actually made my face look pale. Whilst this does do everything that it says it will unfortunately I will be sticking to my current BB cream due to the fact that this is too light for my skin even though this was a medium shade. If Garnier can work on getting the colouring right for the medium tone of this product I will definitely purchase this in the future as this is my only criticism other wise over all I do like this.

Tips: Apply moisturiser beforehand if you find that your skin looks a bit dry and cakey with this cream alone.

BB Cream

I always have red blotchy skin, which gets very oily. So I went for the BB cream for the oily type skin. I found the BB cream to be a good consistency not too runny and not too thick. I used a foundation wedge to cover my face. As the coverage was good and easy enough to get around. I found that a little bit went a long way. As I got the darker of the 2 shades avaliable, if I applied too much the colour went more orange than I would have liked. The finish can be a little shiny in places but I did put a powder on after and it looked really good. The BB cream did come off after a little sweating but otherwise was pretty long lasting I would recommend the product if someone asked for a specific type but i wouldnt be going out telling people to buy it.

Tips: I use this as a base on my foundation if Im going for the full on makeup look. If im just having a quiet day or dont want to put too much makeup on, it gives enough coverage to just use by itself.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free S

It was a pleasure trialing this BB Cream. I have never tried it before and can get nervous trying something for the 1st time. It has a thin watery texture that took a little getting use to applying. It gave a very quick and easy even coverage and I could clearly see if I missed any spots. I chose the medium color which worked in perfectly for my skin color. It gave an even matte finish and kept the oiling look away for the entire day, I'm not one for wearing foundation so this worked perfectly for me. It lasted the distance going from a day in the office under air conditioning and through netball practice that evening with no greasy appearance. Its lasting power was reasonable if I didn't touch my face, but did come off quickly when I blowed my nose or wiped around my eyes so not the best when you are having spats of hay fever which is to be expected. The packaging said it makes pores less visible and imperfections are minimized and It did exactly that. It didn't moisturizes incredibly well in the few areas that are dry, so I defiantly won't be eliminating my moisturizer from my daily to do list. I applied it a few times just using my fingers and it was a bit flaky, I used it will a foundation sponge which made the application so much better. The packaging was well detailed and I thought the recommended age group scale very informative. The tube itself is small enough to pop in your handbag or makeup bag which is great for when you are on the move. One down fall was the lack of information on the tube itself, so if your new to this product you'd need to keep the box handy. All in all it did as it said it would and I'd be happy to recommend it to others to try.

Tips: I would recommend exfoliating before applying. The matte finish does show up and flaky skin you have.

Loved Garnier oil-free BB!

I was so impressed with this product. I've tried other BB creams and found them more like a tinted moisturiser, but this one had excellent coverage and pigment. I have worn it every day since I got it as think it'll be replaced when it runs out! I lived up to its "skin perfecting" promise - I popped a bit of my usual under eye Concealor on and this was enough for a perfectly made up look. And I was pleasantly surprised with the colour - I usually use L'Oreal true match foundation in golden sand which is a reasonably med-dark shade so wondered if a medium would cut it - but it was perfect. It's a runny consistency but don't let this fool you - it's got great coverage without having to use very much at all. It feels cool when applied as it dries off - seems to have alcohol in it perhaps? I have combination skin with oily tendencies and this was perfect - not a powdery finish but a long lasting wear that hadn't slid off at the end of a long day. Didn't dry my skin out either and I've had no breakouts since using it. Loved it - highly recommend!

Tips: A little goes a long way, it's a runny consistency so trying to hold the tube and cap is a mission so I recommend not doing that, put it down! And BLEND! It's got a lot of pigment in it so don't forget to blend out those tide marks!
