Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

To be honest I really wasn't sure what it was at all, so wasn't sure what to expect. I even had to Google what is was. At first because of my skin being sensitive I was a little apprehensive and i wasn't sure that the colour would work for me, Was i pleasantly surprised when I put it on! It was easy to apply and even gave my skin a glow, was light and smooth to apply. I have pigmentation and was so surprised at how well it covered up my uneven skin tone. Every day I put on foundation, but thought Id test how it lasted without putting anything else on my face, again I was so surprised at how well it lasted. There isn't any smell to it, which is a plus for me as I'm picky with the way things smell. My skin felt light and it seemed to stop my skin from getting all oily as it was normally be at the end of each day. The packaging made it easy to use, my only one complaint is that because of the cream being so light I had to turn it upside down before i took the lid off out of fear it would run out and drip on the carpet. Having SPF 15 in it is a huge bonus as I'm always conscience about having sunblock not to darken pigmentation and age spots. So overall I loved this product, and it did what it said it would do.

I found the product easy to apply using my fingers, this was my first time using a bb cream and this was quite runny. The colour was abit too orange for me, especially if you use more than one application. It was not able to cover my dark circles but this was not surprising as I need to use concealer but they worked well together. Would use again in conjuction with powder to tone down the orange. It feels light on your skin and has good staying power. You do not need to use much and it sets on your face nicely. I had no issues with oily skin while using this product. I feel the price is good value.

I have oily skin, and was pleasantly surprised by this BB cream.

Despite it having a runny consistency at first glance, this bb cream seemed to thicken up when applied to my skin, it was easy to apply, and went on smoothly. I wanted to trial this BB cream as effectively as possible, so tried applying it with my fingers, a sponge, and a makeup brush on seperate occasions, it is definitely easier to apply with your fingers and I found that a little goes a long way using it this way, where as a brush or sponge in particular use quite a bit more as they soak up a lot of the make up.

The BB cream offers light coverage & a matte finish, and definitely helped to control my oily skin throughout the day. I have always had a problem with finding a foundation or BB cream that does not 'melt' off my face during the day, I did not have this issue with this particular BB cream at all. I was able to go the whole day with no shine on my skin, and coverage intact!

The packaging was nice and simple, just what you would expect from Garnier, and the smell of the actual make up is pleasant.

The only concern I have, is with the BB cream being a bit runny/watery (before going on your skin and thickening up), this makes it hard to get the right amount out of the tube, so just be careful with that to avoid wastage. The tube is a good size, and should last a long time.

This is definitely value for money, I will definitely be buying it again, and would recommend to everyone who has naturally oily skin.

I have used a Garnier BB cream before and i didnt like it at all was thick and had a real orange colour so i was very excited to try this new one.I tried the BB cream for oily/ combination skin. I was very surprised with the consistency of it was much more light and runny and it glided onto my skin wonderfully. The shade was not as orange either. But that's where is really stops there. I found that it doesn't really stay on the skin very well so half way through the day my skin was very patchy and made my skin very glossy and oily looking. I have also noticed I have had quite a lot of break outs since using the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream. I do however liked how it covered up those blemishes nicely, and maybe it was just coincidental that I happened to breakout whilst using this product. It would be very interesting to read what everyone else says about this product to see if they had the same results as I did.

It's nice to be told your skins looking great - even when you are stressed and tired. Garnier BB Cream is so easy to apply, I use my fingers, it's so light and creamy, I do like a medium coverage and this is perfect, because I am oily I do still need to touch up during the day. Medium for me is a little dark - so I custom blend with some of the light shade, into a little plastic pump bottle. I'm a fan and have also converted friends from more expensive foundation.

I have a combination skin type but at 59 find it is getting dryer. I have mild rosacea and of course age spots that I found this BB cream did slightly diminish. As I rarely wear foundation, generally just a tinted moisturiser, I was keen to try this product. Unfortunately even though I have fairish skin I found it a bit light to put on although it did blend in after about 10 minutes. I would like to try a slightly darker shade. It has a good consistency which I applied with my finger and was fairly easy to apply but did need smoothing into the skin. Personally I found it a bit too matt to begin but found that went away after about half an hour. I did mix it with a bit of tinted moisturiser which worked better for me. I apply at about 8am and cannot see it when I am home at 4pm. I haven't bought this type of product before but consider the cost and the amount very reasonable compared to the high end brands. I am happy to say that the writing/colouring on the packaging makes it easy to read and not too small as so many products have, which we "oldies" have trouble reading. I don't think it boosted any "healthy glow" as I found it too matt to do that, however, it did even my skin tone a little. I would recommend it to a friend to try as it is a fair price and easy to use, especially if they have an oily skin.

My first impression of this was 'oh no it's going to be too dark for me!' However I wassurprised when I put it on my face. I left it to settle for a couple of minutes and it seemed to blend in. The oil free formula is really watery, like REALLY watery, not at all what I expected, but it doesn't affect application too much. I have used this on its own, with powder on top, with primer and foundation and I have to say I really like it. It makes my skin feel smooth to the touch and works really well with my Kat von D foundation. I still get oily by the end of the day and need to touch up with powder, but that is like me with most things. It provides enough moisture so I don't need to use anything else. I think the colour could be lighter still as I'm very pale and I felt it was a touch orange, by under my regular foundation that didn't matter. Overall, after testing it out for a week, I like it and would definitely buy it again. Having SPF is really important to me too :)

I naturally have some light freckles and this keys them show through but evens out my skin tone without being too thick or gloopy. I had the original formulation and the oil free is a million times better for me. I blends super well and goes on creamy. I'd say it's a tiny bit chemical scented but it goes away within moments. It works incredibly well as a primer of sorts under foundation and on its own gives light coverage. Skims blemishes but didn't cover them very well. Adding a touch of concealer helped.

First time using a BB cream and I've found the product okay but I'm not terribly blown away. I have combination skin that can sometimes be a little sensitive as it gets red and this product covered about 85% of my blemishes. The redness is greatly reduced but the a couple of scars is still somewhat visible. Drier areas of my skin gets too dry with this product.

The consistency is very runny and the I found the tube to be slightly leaking the cream into the cap? It's a pet peeve of mine for keeping the nozzle surrounding and twisty bits of cosmetics and moisturisers clean, but this one just kept on coming out!

It doesn't have a strong smell which is nice though I do think it looks a little cakey for my complexion and that I needed to take care on it blending it in with my fingers around the edges of my face. It is pleasant enough to have for the whole day and not feel sticky and gross at the end though, which is nice, and coverage does falter a little but still decent enough for pilates ;-)

Packaging is pleasant but think it's a little big for the tube, but guess they need to place all the information on it somehow.

Interested to see whether my pores are minimised in appearance and radiance is actually improved in four weeks though, and at the moment, I probably won't recommend this to friends as it's not doing anything too spectacular.

This is such a lovely product and I was so excited to be given the opportunity to try it.I It is a lovely silky liquid which glides onto my skin. I chose the medium shade which is perfect for my skin tone.It has great coverage and it blends evenly onto my skin.It has a pleasant smell.The packaging is great. It has a smaal nozzle and when you squeeze the tube a small amount comes out easily. This is great as it doesnt squirt out everywhere.This product has a lovely glow It doesnt leave my skin greasy or shiny.Will definitly be adding this product to my makeup bag.Love this product
