Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

Upon opening the screw top lid, the liquid ran everywhere! All over the lid, hands... I didn't know how runny the formula would be. Otherwise, the packaging is sterile with a nozzle tip. I tried this first on my hand, as a sensitive skin precaution, and the colour was noticeably orange (medium shade). On my face, definitely orange as well, though a little less obvious. The smell isn't too much of an issue and the coverage was quite sheer for me, on the lower end of a BB cream coverage.

My skin has a mind of its own, and changes from oily to normal so I decided to go for the oil free BB Cream. I have been quite pleasantly surprised. The bottle is nice and slim bottle that fits into my already packed make up bag. Compared to previous BB Cream I have used it has really good coverage. The colour matched me perfectly and I didn't feel like my skin was all blocked up. It lasted all day and came off really easy with my normal wipes. I think this product is really worth the money.

BB cream was just the thing I needed in my life :) I used this for a week straight. Soon as I got ready, all I need to do is my normal cleansing routine, rub on The BB Cream like a normal moisturiser (making sure I cover my red spots) then add Mascara and Im sorted for the day :) My makeup routine has never been so easy! Especially having a busy lifesytle and tending to my 3 month baby :) I loved how this product is easy to apply and very effective. Covered my imperfections (dark undereyes, red cheeks and T-zone. Gives my skin a matte finish which was a big change from the oily look my normal moisturiser gives me :) Just in a week I have noticed my skin is looking hydrated, less pores are visible and the reddness in my skin has calmed down. My friends and family have complimented me saying my skin is looking good and I now have a glow :) I give this product an A++, even has SPF15 which is a bonus!

My skin changes, sometimes its dry, sometimes absolutely normal due to health conditions. I also have a lot of freckles from over exposure to the sun.

Being a BB Cream virgin, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but thought I'd give it a try. I am quite tanned, more than fair, so opted for the medium tone, and found that it was a tad bit dark for me, and made me look a bit purplish, but it did minimise freckles a lot.

It was very easy to apply, just like a moisturiser, and wasn't as messy as I thought it would be. A little went a long way, and I'd imagine the product would last a fair while.

All in all, it does correct blemishes, covers well, and now I'm convinced to buy the light toned BB cream. I didn't notice much scent, which I don't mind, and found it great to use under a little blush. I'm sure it makes for perfect selfies that you don't need to do touch ups on as well.

I definitely will recommend to others, and am proud to say, one, BR has converted me...and two, Garnier has produced yet another great product!

What a great BB Cream. Have used the original BB cream and find the oil free BB cream to be far superior. The BB cream lasts all day and you don't get a sheen at all. Its fantastic. Great coverage, and consistency and easy to apply with just your fingers. I have sensitive skin and can suffer from eczema around my eyes and on my temple but dont react at all to this BB cream which is great. Cream definitely lives up to its claims and is great value for money. The only negative is the smell which is slightly chemically but once its on you can't smell it any longer. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I have oily/combination skin, so I tried the oil-free BB cream.I found the product to be quite liquidy, this was a good thing though as it applied really smoothy and gave a really great, oil-free coverage. I applied a thin first layer and then applied one more layer which gave the perfect finish. It had a matte finish with a very slight/natural shine (not oily). It doesn't have much of a smell which I was happy with. I found by using this product, I only had to use a very small amount of powder over the top and it gave the desired look. The packaging was simple and overall I am happy with the product, I would purchase this myself. I have spoken to friends about the product who also use it and they are very happy with its coverage.

I was very lucky to be able to trial this BB cream. It is my first time using one and was pleasantly surprised. I have combination skin, usually more hormonal at certain times of the month. Apart from the initial using of the product (it is VERY runny) I got used to getting it out slowly and refraining from squeezing to hard. It was easy to apply and I did this with my fingers as I would my moisturiser. My skin felt great, and I skipped my usual foundation. It felt nice and light and my skin could breathe. It did even out my skin tone to some extent, but there were still a few patches I wished had been covered, It is more a sheer/light coverage and I am used to more a meduim cover with my foundation. The second day I opted for my usual moisturiser first, then BB cream. I also put an extra wee but more over my cheeks that showed the red flaws I was trying to cover. I felt that it was enough to go to work without foundation or concealer. 3rd day and ones there after, I continued to use moisturiser first, then BB cream, then set it with a little powder. I had a small breakout, so also used a little concealer but had to play around to blend it in, as it was quite obvious what I had done! My skin feels and looks better for using the product and I continue to use it to see what happens in 4 weeks time with continued use. As I do not need to be 'made up' for work, this lighter, more sheer coverage is suitable, but if I was going out in the weekend, I would definitely want more coverage, My face did seem to have a more radiant look, and looked shine free for the most part of the day. My skin definitely feels better and softer. It was nice to have the spf added in (my moisturiser does too) and it leaves your face without the shine you can get from spf products. A nice matt coverage. The smell was ok, didn't really notice either way. As I have not used another BB cream, I cannot compare to price. Garnier is a brand I trust and I would have been likely to buy one of their products. I did not really like the box it came in (just didn't appeal) and may not have chosen it over another. I would reccomend this to others for summer time on its own (or when you don't need lots of coverage)- and alongside something else for evenings or when you need more coverage. Overall, quite happy, and look forward to the next three weeks and results they claim will happen! Appreciate the opportunity to trial :-)

I was very excited to be part of this trail as I have been using a different BB cream but wasn’t very happy with the results. I found that the Garnier cream was surprisingly runny but I still found it very easy to apply with my fingers and you only needed a small amount, once applied it gave me a lovely even coverage with a matte finish the colour matched my skin perfectly but it didn’t fully cover my pimples but it worked very well with concealer underneath, I also found that I wasn't oily by the end of the day and still felt like I still had a pretty good coverage which I don’t normally get. Overall I really liked this BB cream as it is a good sized tube and you only need such a small amount so it will last quite a while so I will defiantly keep using it. Thank you Garnier!

I was pleasantly surprised with the Garnier BB cream. I have to say that initially I through that the consistency/feel of the liquid would be hard to apply evenly, however it went on beautifully and gave my skin a really lovely finish. I have freckles and I am not overly concerned about covering them. It is more the pigmentation on my skin that I would like to cover. The Garnier BB cream really did give coverage to all the imperfections (mainly the pigmentation) while letting my freckles still show through. Even after using the same daily tinted moisturiser for the last (roughly) 20 years, I am reluctant to actually stop using the Garnier BB cream. I will definitely be repurchasing this product.

i was quite excited to be in the trail for the BB Cream as ive never used it before, having oily skin (and prone to breakouts) i was a little skeptical that it would do what it said it would. pretty much as soon as i got it i was ripping open the packet to try it, pretty happy with tube size and amount, will probably last me awhile (maybe a few months+) since in not a daily makeup user. the cream itself is quite liquidity but not watery, i just used my fingers to put it on like i would any regular moisturizer, but i would recommend using a makeup pad to apply to stop it staying on your fingers. It was very easy to spread and blend into my face, covered my problem areas where i have blotching redness and acne. it didn't completely conceal acne but it did help reducing it visibly and seemed to help heal it also, which im pretty happy with!! i felt pretty good with it on, didn't feel like i had anything on my skin, and my husband couldn't even tell that i had it on, i never felt the need that i might need more on during the day, my skin was very soft and dry the whole day. i would definitely recommend to anyone that finds makeup harsh for there skin like i do.
