Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

The product is a thin, runny consistency. It is easy to blend and has a relatively matte finish. The colour is good as it isn't a thick product so it just perfects your natural skin tones. It is medium coverage as i find it reduces redness but not fully covers spots. It doesn't last all day about 8 hours I find and that is after setting it with a powder. I don't find my skin getting to oily over the day so perfect for oily skin.

I loved the Garnier Oil free BB cream. So easy to apply with your fingers, just like you do with moisturiser. No noticeable smell. Liked the thin nozzle type tube so you don't over use. It gives a nice matt finish which seemed to last the day, even on my t-zone oily skin. Gave a nice coverage over my red cheeks without feeling heavy. Felt natural to the touch during the day, but did notice that it does rub off and needs to be reapplied. Not long enough trial to see skin changes, but will revisit this review and advise any changes in a month or so. Will definitely be buying this product as an easy no fuss foundation for me over the winter months. Have purchased the anti-ageing in the past which looked a little shiny, but the oil-free was much better for my skin type without having to apply anything like powder over the top. If you haven't tried a BB cream before, would recommend you try Garnier, choosing which of the 4 types available, suits your skin type best. Like me if your skin is oily I think the oil free might work a lot better than the anti-ageing which I initially bought as I'm 45+!!

I have previously tried a BB cream by Maybelline, but I didn't like it at all and so that put me off BB cream altogether. When I heard about this Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream and how it had different types in the range for different skin types, I decided to reconsider, and luckily enough, I was selected as part of the trial team for the Oil-free SPF 15 type.

I have oily/combination skin, so my face can get rather oily in some areas whereas other areas can be quite dry. I have the most problems with my T-zone where it gets oily the most. During the day, I have to blot my T-zone to get rid of excess oil, otherwise those areas look super shiny (not a good look!). I usually powder on top of my foundation to try and matte out my oily areas, but it doesn't last very long during the day.

I like how this BB Cream does leave a soft matte finish, so it kind of eliminates the shiny oily look on my face. The consistency of the BB Cream is quite watery and light, which I like but also don't like at the same time - it's good that it's not thick because it means it won't weigh down on my face and block my pores, but that also means that it doesn't give complete coverage. On the other hand, I prefer to use this on days where I can't be bothered putting on foundation, so this BB Cream gives the right light coverage for a really natural look. Because it is quite runny, I have accidentally squeezed out more than I needed from the tube, which I didn't like because it ends up in product wastage. However, the product is easy to blend out when you apply it. The packaging is probably the most easiest for a product like that though, as a jar container would probably push up the cost as well as making it harder to keep something with a runny consistency in. I find that the product lasts a few hours before I still find my face going shiny and oily again. Removing the product is also easy as it is so light on the skin.

I didn't like how they only had two colour options for this BB Cream, as some people may not fall specifically into one of the two categories, so this made it hard for me to decide what colour to get at first. I chose the 'Light' colour and I think it was actually the right choice!

I would love to find out whether this BB Cream does help in reducing pore size, imperfections, and making my skin less oily, as the product also says that it improves the skin's quality over time after about 4 weeks. I am yet to still find out though as I've only been using it for about a week. From what I've used so far, I definitely prefer it over the Maybelline BB Cream!

I found the bb cream easy to use and that it blended well with my skin tone. It helped give my face a matte look as I usually have oily patches on my face when using some foundations. Overall very impressed with this product!

When reading what this BB cream does for your skin I was very sceptical as to how it could absorb the oils from my skin have a SPF and stay matte?. BUT, this ticked all the boxes for me. I found the scent of this OK, not strong. There is nothing worse than putting something on your skin that is heavily perfumed I did a swatch on the back of my hand it it went on smoothly and blended beautifully and also made my skin feel very soft, even hours after I applied it. Then in the morning after a freshly washed face and my moisturiser had settled in I applied a small amount to my face. A little went a long way. It covered my pores and made my skin an even tone. for my imperfections I just used my ring finger and dabbed a little more product over the area and it significantly covered it, as well as under my eyes. It felt so light on my skin. I then went about my day, I didn't get oily skin throughout the day and coverage wasn't as good as first applied but I was still happy with it. When using make up remover I was surprised at how much actually did stay on my skin. After using it for four days I noticed my skin was very smooth and my pores appear smaller. I'm am going to continue using this as an alternative for foundation because I'm very pleased with it.

My biggest problem with my skin is it being overly oily - mostly around my cheeks, nose and forehead. Products literally slide off my skin in Summer. So for me, having a product that can combat that oil is a big must!

The consistency is quite light and watery, which is why it's surprising to me that it gives a quite good coverage (probably a 7 out of 10 on coverage). It gives a really nice matte finish and blends quite well. It has no fragrance that I can smell.

It lasted at least 8 hours on my skin, although it was trying to take it off that was the problem - almost felt like I was removing waterproof makeup.

Thumbs up for the packaging, easy to use and apply. Worked equally well applying it with both my fingers and brush.

Would I recommend this to a friend? I sure would.

I have found my perfect BB cream. This has not been an easy task, and now that I have found Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil, I can, at last, give up the search. I have been trying to jump on this BB cream band wagon for well over a year now; and who wouldn't be, BB creams are everywhere you look, promising the Earth... And from my experience, undelivering. I have had BB creams that make my skin super shiny, and I've had BB creams that leave flakes all over my face and clothes - not a good look! But Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector was just what I have been trying to find. I have combination skin, an oily forehead but often a dry nose and chin, and Garnier's BB cream has left my skin a nice even tone all over. It is enough of a moisturiser to hide the dry patches I have, but keeps my face nice and matte all day. I put this on my skin straight after cleansing, and it provided enough coverage for me to feel comfortable going to work without feeling the need for make up - love it! It is a nice, light cream which slides smoothly over the skin and provided me with an even coverage, instantly making me look more refreshed and awake by hiding the darkness around my eyes, as well as covering red blemishes, giving me a really natural look and feel. The bottle is designed well to help you get out every last drop, and I found this BB cream to be fragrance free so I could wear this without anyone knowing I was wearing it - this BB cream blends in so well that I could quite easily have pretended I wasn't wearing anything at all - my secret weapon ;) I consider the price to be extremley reasonable, as I have been using this cream for two weeks now and the bottle appears untouched, so I imagine it is going to last me for yonks. I am also saving money on foundation and concealer by not having to use them everyday! I will now only wear foundation and concealer on days where I want to look more made up, or special nights out. The only thing to be aware of with this BB cream is if you are prone to slightly shiny skin like me is to wear the BB cream alone. A couple of days I experimented with wearing my usual light moisturiser underneath the BB cream for an extra bright look. This looks great first thing, but by mid afternoon I found my face starting to shine. The BB cream lasts all day if you wear it alone for my particular skin type. I would have absolutely no hesitations in recommending this to all of you Beauty Addicts like myself, and to anyone else who will listen also - even if it does mean giving up my secret weapon of how I have such 'naturally' beautiful skin ;) I hope you enjoy this product as much as I have, it has certainly restored my faith in BB creams!

My skin is combination, what I found, with the normal Garnier BB Cream was that it would cause my skin to breakout after I had used it. The oil-free cream was excellent, as I had no breakouts afterwards, and it didn't go as shiny throughout the day, like the normal BB cream did. The consistency of the cream is very liquidy compared to the normal BB cream, but it has a matt finish when applied which I really liked and let my skin breathe during the day. I found it easier to apply with a sponge, just so it covered better. Coverage of this product is great, and imperfections were definitely lessened. Also gave my skin a healthy glow, and goes well with a touch of bronzer. I usually use the BB cream rather than using a foundation, just because it doesn't feel as heavy. The fragrance of the product is pleasant. Not too chemically, and it does stick around. The lasting power of the BB cream is quite good. Not so much when your out dancing and sweating a lot. But it seems to do the job for everyday make up. Price- well currently $10 at Countdown, so I definitely think it is awesome value for money, for an everyday product. The packaging.... well it comes in a cute little tube, and fits well into my makeup bag, which is handy. Although make sure you have the lid done up properly otherwise you will have makeup go everywhere..... The results of this product.... The cream does everything it says it does, I would like to see maybe a shade between medium and light, just cause I have a slightly different skin colouring. But it has awesome coverage, and is good for sensitive skin. I would recommend this product to people who like myself are looking for a quick product to apply in the morning before work/uni, and don't really have many make up applying skills.

I loved this product. It did exactly what it said it would do. I like the fact it doesn't really have a smell and that it is so easy to apply. I love how you get a perfectly smooth flawless finish every time! And its NOT greasy!!! I love it!
