Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I really liked this stuff. I used it as a primer for my foundation. By doing that I eliminated the need for concealer. I also have horrible hormonal acne which did not clog up or make worse. It just glided nice over the top and allowed it still to breathe. I recommend this product to EVERYONE who needs a primer or wants to wear less makeup

For this review I had asked for the Medium colour, but have also used the Light colour previously. I love this product, it covers all my imperfections and debags those under eyes! I also wear it with foundation over the top and the coverage lasts all day with or without foundation. It is very reasonably priced in the supermarket since you dont need to use heaps to get the look you want which means it lasts a long time. Because I have pretty fair skin I would prefer to stay with the Light shade but have found that I am able to use the Medium since the foundation helps even out the colouring on my neck and chest.

I love Garnier BB Cream! I have been using it now for going on 4 years. I normally use the standard one and have recommended it to several friends and family and clients (makeup) and have them recommend it to others too after trying it! Now with the oil free, sensitive skin, anti ageing versions there is something for literally EVERY woman! It is great for people with problem skin, mums with no time or energy for makeup application, ladies who don't like wearing foundation because they don't like the weight and feel of it on their skin. I even have my mum (63) wearing it! And my sister 23 who has had problems with severe acne since her mid teens using it too!

BB Cream is easy to use I just apply a little with my hands ten minutes after my moisturiser. It has a very subtle light fragrance which a big plus for me as I have an aversion to strong fragrances. BB Cream does exactly what it says it provides a light lovely coverage whilst giving a little camouflage from any little imperfections and the difference to my complexion is slight and subtle but definitely beautiful! I have never had so many comments about the lovely glow to my complexion - even my husband notices when I'm wearing it or not! And it's lasts all day long. The oil free BB cream is more of a fluid and is a lot runnier than the standard cream. This is excellent for oily skin types you just have to be careful dispensing it is all! The oil free also comes in a significantly smaller tube which is a bit disappointing but that is no doubt due to being a more expensive formula. The Oil free still goes an extremely long way as with the standard cream - you really do only need a little bit! It has the same coverage and leaves your skin feeling and looking great without any greasy shiny patches!

My normal tube lasts me months and months as I don't wear it every day probably 2-3 out of seven but I know people who use it every day and still get a lot out of thier tubes. The smaller tubes of oil free not so much BUT this is still an economical product size as a my sister the poor student will attest to!

I CANNOT say enough fantastic things about this product line! It ticks all the boxes for me: ~quick and easy to use -I'm a mum of 3 under 5 I have no time and no hands to do anything! ~economical - price is great, it's available in supermarket and it lasts ages! ~ great feeling product - I'm a woman who doesn't like the weight of most foundations on my skin but this product does the trick and for going out I just add a little powder to set it and maybe some concealer if needed for trouble spots and I have a beautiful finish on my skin that is gorgeous cover and yet so light and lasts all day all night! ~SPF - brilliant for a bit of protection!

I LOVE it and recommend it to EVERYONE - It's as close to a miracle in a tube that you can get!

This is an amazing product :) first of all, I like how the tube is long and thin; it makes the product very easy to handle when you are using it. It has a runny consistency and a mild, fresh smell. I apply it by putting a small amount on each area of my face and working it in with my fingers. What I love most about Garnier's BB Cream is that it gives you a natural-looking coverage without you having to worry about any cakey effect, which some foundations are prone to creating. I have skin that tends to go oily throughout the day and which means I'd have to apply more foundation in order for it to last longer. With this product being oil-free, I was very happy to see that I could wear this product for the whole day and still have that even coverage by the end of it! However, for those of you who suffer from acne, know that this product will only cover them to a certain extent. I apply concealer after using this product to finish off :) I would definitely recommend this product to a friend, it is my most reliable go-to product that I will use on a daily basis. :)

I was skeptical when it came to this review as I had used other BB creams before but had not been convinced they were any good . This BB Cream is amazing - left my skin feeling so soft and I didn't even have to use much foundation over the top so the coverage is actually pretty good for a light cream . Consistency was a bit like sunscreen but if you read the instructions, for a more matte finish - apply it twice so I did that which made it lots better ! Will definitely be buying again :) Product will be great in the summer when foundation melts off !

For the past couple of months my skin has become quite oily (i'm 16 which probably explains it!) so i thought this bb cream would suit me quite well. I didn't like it at all, the formula was way to watery so when i first unscrewed the top all this product shot out all over the sides of the tube. I found that it didn't really even out my skin tone as it was a little to pink for my skin. I had ordered medium as i am normally a medium in the Revlon bb cream but i found that this was also a bit to pale for me compared to my neck. However it did smell nice though, so it didn't irritate my nose. I found that the bb cream, due to being so watery, sunk into the fine lines by my eyes and made my face very shiny very fast. It claims that it will have instant results in clearing skin, which i found was far from the truth. I normally have good skin (no pimples except for the odd one), its just the discoloration i have around my face bothers me so when i tried this bb cream out for a couple of days, i found that it broke me out by my nose area. Didn't like that at all. Price wise, even if it was super cheap i wouldn't bother repurchasing this. Not worth the effort to try and make it work for my skin

My biggest apprehension about this product was scent - I've previously tried a Garnier BB Cream and it made my eye's water intensely (So I looked like I was bawling my eyes out - tear tracks and all) but I was pleasantly surprised by how lightly scented it was, and it didn't make my eyes water at all, bonus!!

I used my fingers to put it on, dotting it on first and then just working it around my face just like my moisturiser, which was super easy and I found that a little went a long way. The coverage was good, but then my skin is fairly good with no pimples (just freckles and rosy cheeks!) and it lasted all of my day off, though I found it a little bit too light for work the second day (I'm a Restaurant Manager) and it faded part-way through shift, though I was doing a fair bit of leg work so I'm not surprised. It looked natural on my face with a matte finish, and I had compliments from my partner (who doesn't usually compliment - he's all tattoo'd, bearded, and funny rather then sweet) that I looked lovely with no makeup on, and he didn't believe I was wearing anything until I wiped it off, so that's a bonus! I'm impressed with how my skin feels - normally after a day in makeup it feels a bit heavy, but my skin feels light and fresh so also a good thing.

The packaging was nice, eye catching, and I thought the little tube it came in was uber cute, and it's pretty price effective so I'd buy it again for day wear.

All in all, I rather like this product and am planning on buying it again in the future for day wear - specially if I get more of those rare compliments!

As a girl with oily skin who has struggled to find a product that stays in place all day I was dubious about this product.The product is pretty liquidy, not thick at all. Although this sounds great, it was kinda annoying because everytime I took the lid off it pretty much over flowed! Apart from that, it was pretty standard. So, how was it to wear? I was somewhat suprised when I put it on and it lasted through three dance classes! It barely moved, despite sweating and remained nice and even. However, I did have some issues with this product. Firstly, I found the shade was too yellow for my skin. I usually use NW20 in MAC products and this Garnier BB cream was veryyyy yellow in comparison. Secondly, I'm not a huge fan of full coverage makeup and I was expecting this BB to be much more sheer and lightweight than it was. Along with this came an almost mudmask texture once it had dried. This texture did get rid of the oil on my face though which was great!!! Overall, I found this BB to be Okay.... Fine for drug store prices but I'll still be investing in a slightly more expensive, sheer and smoother product.

I found out through this product I have more combination skin than oily, I found once i took it off at the end of the day my face felt tight and that I need to moisturise both morning and night (I usually just do it in the morning). Apart from this I loved the product, it left my skin looking matte rather than dewy which is how I like my foundation to look. It applies easily and smoothly and lasted most of the day wearing off around my nose at the end of the day though.

The packaging was really packed with information which was was needed as this was my first time using BB cream. Packaging was easy to follow and understand. The shade I received was a bit too light for my complexion and I had to use another concealer to even up the skin tones. What was really great was that I didn't have to apply any mosturiser - just the BB cream. My skin was considerably less oily as no mosturiser was used before hand.
