Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I love this BB cream and is my go to on my days off or when I am having a lazy day but still want my skin to look even, even if it is just going up to the supermarket. It is light weight depending on how much you put on good coverage evens out your skin tone. I recommend this product to my GF's if they don't want to jump in straight to foundation.

I have some serious oily skin, and I have to say this is one of the better affordable bb creams I have used targeted toward oily skin types.

When I applied it I was surprised at how liquid the formula was I had never used a formulation quite as runny. I got the shade light with was a great match with my skin tone. I found when it came to application due to its consistency you really had to take your time to buff it into the skin to get it looking even.

i wouldnt say it gives you perfect looking skin like it says on the packaging but it defiantly gave me a nice light coverage and helped minimize my pore and evened out my skin tone getting rid of visible redness. When it came to imperfections I wasn't so impressed but I never really am with bb creams due to the light coverage. I needed to go back and touch up my imperfections with some concealer.

When it came to shine control it help reduce shine for couple of hours but I did find myself still touching up with some mattifing powder through out the day.

Overall I think its a great BB cream and really works to even out skin tone and I love the oil free texture i gives off compared to other BB creams :)

So I have used this particular brand BB cream a few years back and wasn't overly happy with it. I can't even remember now what I didn't like about like about it, but I gave it to my sister and moved on to another brand. When the opportunity came up to trial this product I thought I would give it another shot and I am glad I did! I have had people commenting on my skin and how great it looks. I have been wearing it to work instead of foundation and find that it gives me the coverage I need, without being too 'cakey' or thick. It took me a while to figure out the best way to apply and wear it. First I tried it with a sponge, but decided it was better applying with just my fingers. I have worn it by itself, with powder and bronzer and today just with bronzer. I find it works however YOU want it to! I haven't felt greasy throughout the day like I have at times when wearing foundation. All in all, I am really happy with this BB cream and would definitely use it again and recommend to anyone. First time BB cream user! I have oily skin so I was a bit wary about using this at first. The consistency was really runny, I constantly had product in the lid of the cap and over the tip of the tube. it was very liquidly/watery and just fell out of the tube, perhaps a better tube design eg a pump the application was great, I applied with a MAC 193 brush (angled foundation brush) and buffed with a Phoenix cosmetics Kabuki brush I thought cream smelt a bit chemically, which put me off a bit but it went away quite quickly. The coverage it provided was really good, it looked more like a light foundation which was good if you’re just popping to the supermarket etc my skin felt oily to the touch about 2 hours after using the product the packaging is pretty standard, a lot of words on the packaging box the tube packaging was better. Overall I would use this product as quick go-to product, I really liked the overall look of the product on my skin and it was nice to not use a moisturizer, primer then foundation. I used this product on bare freshly washed skin and then put powder foundation over the top.

I have a great foundation, however by the end of the day it has certainly started to wear off and lose coverage. After using this cream before application it held all day and it got rid of some of those freckles that just never stay hidden. Was pleasantly surprised at just how well it worked. Love that it doesnt make my skin oily either. Would definitely recommend

My fave BB cream. Have tried a few others and they don't get the coverage that this one does. You don't need a lot and it reduces blotchy redness without looking ghostly or feeling like you have a mud pack on all day. Added bonus of SPF 15 and it really is a little miracle in a tube.

I love this product, i have fair skin with reddish cheeks and this is a perfect product to cover,stay light and fresh feeling on the face. this BB is perfect texture to just apply like moisturizer - Pea size amount in palms and just apply to face and is super quick and easy to get perfect results. I didn't find there was much fragrance which is a good thing as it is going on the face. The coverage is amazing i swear by this product for full fresh coverage all day long. the fact it is oil free is even better and still protected with SPF15. love the packaging and is very appealing and great design to just slip into make up case or purse :). i would defiantly recommend this product i am so happy i have gone from using 4 products to achieve full day coverage to 2 BB and my loose powder with bronze tones :)

So I have very combination skin, (depending on the time of the month i can be very oily). I found the product to be nice and cream (although a little thin for my liking) but very easy to use.I just used my fingers. No ugly lines ect are left and is absorbed nicely. I used the bb on its own and loved the natural matte finish it gave, so didn't use any foundation. I only had to apply once and it lasted through out the day. I would definitely use it again. :)

I'm a 'have-to-blot-midday' kind of person with the oilyness of my skin, and the other two BB creams I've tried have actually broken me out, so I was a tad hesitant as to what this would do to my skin - but so far I'm very happy.

It's quite a light consistency compared to traditional BB creams, feels more like a runny tinted moisturiser, but goes on nicely.

Not too sure how it would go at covering any real nasties (in terms of pimples), but it evened out some redness in my skin well.

My favourite surprise with this product was that the 'light' version was not too dark for my skin! Usually when products come in light or dark, I'm lighter than light is made for. Especially in winter, this is awesome!

I had great expectations for this product, and I was wrapped to have these realised! What a fantastic product. The cream scent wasn't overpowering and was so smooth to apply. I was especially impressed with how well it covered my redness. It lasted all day amazingly as I went for a walk and did our gardening. It ticked all the boxes for me and I will definitely continue to use. It's a great product for a busy mum on the run.
