Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I have tried this product for a week. When it first arrived I wanted to wash off my foundation that I had put on that morning, but I waited until that evening. I had kickboxing in the evening and due to being so pale, I like to wear minimal foundation. I put on a light layer of this BB cream and out I went. I came home afterwards and found that not only was my skin only a tad shiny (yet very red due to the exercising), and it wasn't blotchy or running. I was pleased, but didn't want to get my hopes up too early in the trial. For the next few days I have used it everyday. I am finding I am not needing to use powder half way through the day to combat oily, shiny skin which means less stress about how my face looks. I love that when I put it on in the morning how easy it is to apply. It really is just like putting a nice moisturiser on. I also love that if I am going out at night I am not having to wash my face and start from the beginning, as I can easily add more BB Cream on top of what I am already wearing and it doesn't smear or end up looking too thick. In the mornings when I wake up, my face is less oily. I still have a couple of areas that are still dry and patchy, but I am sure that over the next couple of weeks even that will have started to get better. It is also nice and easy to remove at the end of the day, which makes potential 3am mornings when you just want to crawl into bed after a night out, a bit easier knowing it isn't going to be a hug he big hassle.

I suffer from a combination oil prone complexion. I was super thrilled to use this product and see what it could do for me. The cream has a liquid consistency and practically runs out of the tube. It was quick and easy to apply, I just used my finger tips mostly in circular motions to apply and this left me with a nice matte finish. There was no intense fragrance to it which I liked and it easily lasted my 8 hour working day. Packaging is typical of this sort of product, not better or worse then those similar. I used the BB cream everyday for the duration of the trial period and I did notice that my skin wasn't as oily as before which is the biggest plus and I cant wait to see some of the more long term effects. I would recommend this to most of my friends as I believe this is a great product. I gave 3/5 for would use again as I kept getting the comment that my face looked too flawless and this gave me a "fake" look. However compliment or not I still enjoyed wearing and reaping its benefits (SPF 15)

While i was using this product, i had noticed that my skin did look and feel softer. By using this BB cream it had provided me with a nice matte finish, which i loved.I had compliments from my friends, an them asking what i was using on my skin. I had noticed that my blemishes were starting to fade, and that my redness of my cheeks and nose were not as red - as they normally are. I loved how this product has SPF 15 in it, and how it gave me a nice healthy looking glow. I also loved how it absorbed quickly, and i didn't get that sticky feeling after applying it. Its light weight, and it really doesn't feel like i was wearing makeup at all. And lastly it didnt make my skin oily at all, after applying it. LOVE LOVE LOVE it :)

I have used this every day since I have received it. Although it is the lightest shade, unfortunately it is still a tad dark for my skin.

I really liked the consistency of this product, it's light and easy to apply. Not at all heavy and doesn't feel like it clogs up my skin, which is great for my oily complexion. It works great as a primer before my foundation giving me extra coverage and evens out my skin tone. I have used it by itself also, which if it was just a bit lighter in colour it would be perfect. So I needed to apply my foundation over the top if I was leaving the house.

It has a nice scent to it, not overpowering. And if feels like it works well for my skin. I haven't broken out at all since using it, in face it does look brighter and more even after using it for a week already.

I would definitely recommend this product for anyone e with oily combination skin as it gives a matte finish and stays that way. A great alternative to wearing foundation when you want a lighter more natural look. It's also at a great price point so it's easily affordable and you don't need to use a lot so it will last you quite a while. I'm very impressed by this product I just wish their was an even lighter colour for my skin.

BB Creams have often let me down, with the added sunscreen majority I have tried whether they claim to be oil-free or not have left me in a shiny mess after only an hour.

I have tried the Garnier BB before and really loved the finish but found the colouring to be a little off for the lightest shade.

With the Miracle Skin Perfector not only is it oil-free but the toning is well on point. The coverage is definitely build-able depending on your desired finish.

I achieved an amazing coverage by using a damp beauty blender. Focusing on areas like the nose and cheeks are places that product tends to slip first so by ensuring you have correctly applied in that particular area will make all the difference.

Overall I am super happy with this product. It looks fab worn alone, with powder over the top to set or even mixed in with my NARS Sheer Glow Foundation.

If your a beauty on a budget or heading off on a Winter escape I totally recommend picking this up.

I received this in the mail a bit dubious about when I would actually trial this, as BB Cream is not something I would generally use day to day, it is generally something I would only wear on the weekend to go to the supermarket. So Saturday came around and I thought ahh perfect day to try this out doing odd jobs around the house. So I grabbed my beauty blender and headed for the mirror. I squeezed it onto my beauty blender and was immediately shocked at how thin the constancy was. The coverage using a beauty blender was not great I found it soaked up a lot of the product. I decided to see what this BB cream would be like with no power, no contour and no blush. Come midnight that night (after being rushed out the door to watch the rugby at a friends) I stepped in front of the mirror completely forgetting that I was only wearing BB cream and to my surprise my face wasn't shiny or oily and still intact on my face. The next morning rolled around an I thought I'll give this a go without the beauty blender, so I used my fingers, Voila! Perfect application. Again after a full day of running around it still looked perfect. This BB Cream doesn't seem to crease or move during the day, even on my oily skin. Its so easy to apply and doesn't smell chemically like a lot of BB Creams. It was a light to medium coverage as you would expect from a BB cream. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, anyone at all, it would work well on all skin types.

I really disliked the original formula of this BB cream, it didn't dry nicely, it had poor coverage and it didn't last well. This formula is the complete opposite! Beautiful velvet finish, decent medium coverage, long lasting. Although as with the original formula the colour is slightly too dark, but a bit of good blending and it's not too bad. I think I will repurchase this!

The first BB Cream I ever tried was the original Garnier one, back in the days where they were one of the few brands to have one. I liked the way it evened my skin tone, however I found the finish to be very chalky looking, which wasn’t so desirable. But hey, a free trial of a slightly different version and I decided to give it a second chance. Lets see how it goes… Day 1 I know today is going to be a long day, with 3 hours of back to back meetings in the afternoon, so I’m wanting a full coverage, long lasting base, but I also want to get started on this trial. So I decide to use the BB Cream as a primer under my Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. The finish is fantastic. The BB Cream adds a luminescent, glowy finish, which I fall more in love with over the course of the day. Despite hot offices and meeting rooms, oil shine is kept to a minimum, which is fantastic. I’ve gotta say, I’m really impressed. Day 2 I’ve been home sick all day today so no makeup, but I’ve got to head out for a farewell dinner. Still not feeling the best, but makeup always makes me feel better. As I’ll only be out for a few hours, I opt to use the BB Cream in place of a foundation. I do find I need to use more concealer than usual, thought I guess that is to be expected. I’m slightly concerned my skin has an orange tint to it, but my boyfriend assures me that I’m definitely not an ompah loompah and no one says anything either, so perhaps not. Day 3 Back to using as a primer under my foundation, today I pair it with Rimmel’s Wake Me Up. That ompah loompah feeling I had yesterday, well it’s back. My product is in medium and I would definitely describe my skin as medium, but I’m really feeling that this product is just not right in the colouring. It’s very orange. I also notice my nose, chin and middle of my forehead is left foundationless by lunchtime. Very unimpressed today. Day 4 I use it alone as a BB cream again today and have decided it definitely doesn’t work for me. The product just casts far too orange on my skin. I had such high hopes on Day 1. Day 5 One last go today. I’m using the same method as day 1 to see if the great results I had then are consistent. For the most part they are. A good long lasting make up day is had, however after the other couple of days, I’m left wondering if this is just down to the fact that Estee Lauder Double Wear is a fantastic foundation. Conclusion Okay, so I’m left a bit inconclusive. How frustrating! The chalky look from last time I used this product is no longer there, so that’s a plus. And it worked well under foundation, though on it’s own I wasn’t so keen. I wonder if the colour would work better on my skin with a bit of a tan in summer. Overall I feel there are much better BB creams on the market, though perhaps not in this price point.

I found this product to be great, as it matched my skin tone so well (I used the light one). I have pretty terrible skin, and it was nice to find something that made covered up so much whilst still being light and so much better for my skin than foundations. It blended really easily and lasted for hours. Great for work if you don't want heavy make up for every day use. The only thing I didn't like was the packaging, it came in a tube like a serum, it would have been better if you could control the output a bit more as with the other ones that aren't oil free. In saying that I would definitely buy it again.

My skin is actually quite oily, by using this cream, my skin actually felt really well moisturised, and also repaired any area of dry skin i had. It also gave me a really nice warm skin tone. It felt like this cream had reduced some fine lines i had and hidden wrinkles ! It left a very nice smooth tan touch also.
