I was so excited to try this product alongside the cleanser and moisturiser- as they’re all vegan/natural-based products and suitable for sensitive skin which is right up my alley!!! I like the packaging colour scheme- the green and white combo with a see-through plastic so that you can see the toner inside! I also like that on the back, it’s got the list of ingredients and where they come from (the natural source), which was really cool! It was really to distribute the product onto a cotton pad as well- I thought too much would come out, but the hole is small enough so that only a small amount comes out so it’s easy to control! It felt nice on my skin as well and was easy to spread on the cotton pad. My skin didn’t react at all either!! I thought the salicylic acid would be too strong for my skin, but I was pleasantly surprised! It felt nice and clean afterwards, not dry or tight. It does smell like thyme and is fragrant, however I like thyme and actually kind of liked it, it was nice and fresh. To be honest I haven’t noticed a difference in my pore size yet as it says on the bottle (may need to use this longer to tell) or any difference to my skin from this, but overall it seems to sit well on my skin. I do have a dry skin type, where it says its for normal/combination, so that may also be why I haven’t seen any real effects on my skin yet (plus it’s only been 2 weeks of use!). Overall, I am not sure if I would repurchase it- I will need continue using it to see the long term effects on my skin!

The toner is my favourite product from the range because it is a simple product that just does what it says it will. I liked soaking a cotton pad with it, swiping it all over my face and then repeating on the other side of the cotton pad.

I love that the toner has salicylic acid in it because I know that ingredient is effective on my acne prone skin. I also like the ingredients that have paired the salicylic acid with, to ensure that it is not too harsh on the skin. I think for this reason it would suit a range of skin types. I definitely prefer the thyme scent of the toner - the scent is less heavy in the toner (as opposed to the cleanser in the range) which is great.

I love that it is cooling and it gets rid of that little bit of remaining makeup that a cleanser might miss, plus makes my skin feel extra clean before I apply moisturiser. I'm not sure that it tightens my pores, but I'm not sure that any product really can so this doesn't bother me. It has not made my skin break out or made me more oily, and it does still feel gentle enough to use both morning and night.

I would purchase it again due to the size vs price and the effective yet gentle ingredients. Simple yet effective!

Thanks BR for the opportunity to trial this product! The toner contains salicylic acid and is for combination to oily skin. It absorbs quickly leaving no residue. I have definitely seen an improvement to my skin since using this product. Despite the weather still being quite hot, my skin has been shine and oil free all day. While I still have a few blackheads, I have not had any other pimples. This toner smells great and is refreshing on the skin.

The only thing I don’t love about it is the packaging, but only because I am lazy. I can never be bothered using a cotton pad to apply toners. However, I fixed this issue myself by just changing the flip top for the mist spray top from a finished bottle of Essano toner, so I can just spray it on. Everything else about this toner is great though. The design on the bottle is really cute and I like that the bottle is clear so you know exactly how much is left.

Overall this is a great toner, and I will definitely be repurchasing when I run out. Highly recommend!

As the title of my review says, I'll first mention the smell! It's supposed to smell like thyme, but I thought it had quite a medicine-like smell to it. I had to really search for the thyme scent! Other than that, I quite enjoyed this toner. I found it had a slightly cooling effect once applied. It went on well and made a nice base for the moisturiser. If I accidentally added a bit much to the cotton pad, I did notice that it would kind of foam/soap up on my skin a little bit, but this disappeared quickly. All in all I found it a nice match for my oily skin and at times I did think my pores appeared tighter!

This is a very strong toner that is not for the faint of heart or dry/sensitive skins.

The consistency was watery so it was very easy to apply to the skin and it spread very well. The cap did not let too much liquid out of the bottle so I found myself using just the right amount.

The first thing you will notice when you open the cap is the potent easily identifiable thyme smell. Stronger than the usual scents from any skincare or cosmetics product I have ever used. When used after his matching gel cleanser the two scents combine and linger longer on the skin.

Upon application to the cheek bone the fumes stung my eyes and when applied over open or heeling blemishes it had the same effect. This toner helps to remove any left over residues from the skins surface and leaves it looking more refined with every use. My experience with the toner as a drier skin type is that it contributed to leaving my skin feeling taught, dehydrated and having a drag to the surface of the skin.

I would expect this product to last about the same as any other toner as I am using the same amounts to cover the skin.

The packaging is very alluring and I thoroughly enjoy how every ingredient is listed with its corresponding purpose on the back.

As this toner has active ingredients and you can definitely notice a difference within the skin I would recommend this to anyone struggling with oily skin and blemishes as the Salicylic acid will help to dry, heel and help to balance out excess oil production.

Another Garnier product that just smells amazing! Has that strong essential oil smell which I personally love, its super relaxing when doing my skincare at night time. I just use a cotton pad and apply all over my face after cleansing. I didn't find it overly drying, didn't leave my skin feeling tight which I like as my skin can be on the dryer side. Feels extremely soothing and refreshing on the skin. I will continue using this product for sure

I have never been big on using toners. Boy was I missing out! I never realised how much toners actually did until I used this one.

I have a regular face cleaning routine so it was easy to add the toner without adding lots of time.

I just used a little bit on a round face pad and wiped over my face. I couldnt believe how much it cleaned! I wash my face and use makeup wipes before moisturising etc. I always thought my skin was clean. Toner took it to the next level, I was very impressed.

I love that this product has really thought about the ingredients used. Nice simple, vegan and better on the environment and my skin! It was smooth on my skin, dried fast without drying out my skin. Plus it didnt leave a residue.

I must say the only negative for me, and this is very personal, is the smell! It is very very overpowering. It is a fresh smell which is a plus but it isnt a smell I like. When I would go to bed it was all I could smell. But like I said this is personal and you may love the smell.

I would definitely try more from this new gariner range, just maybe a different fragrance. Love the idea of these vegan products. Look forward to seeing what else they come out with.

This toner feels wonderful and refreshing on the skin. I have used it on hot days just to cool down and give myself a quick lift.

The smell is really herby and fresh, I have enjoyed the scent of all products from this range and they all differ slightly. The underlying menthol gives the skin a clean feeling when it dries. It is fast drying, a bug bear of mine is a slow drying toner as you have to wait ages to moisturise!

My skins feels fresh and light after using this product, all clean ready for my moisturiser.

I have knocked off a point however because the bottle is a squeezy bottle not a spray... in today's environmentally focused world I don't like using cotton pads that get disposed of... I feel that this product would work just as well if it was sprayed directly on to the skin, meaning no cotton pads and less waste.

This thyme scented toner comes in a really nice bottle which is easy to use. I only needed to use around 2-3 drops on a cotton pad to then apply to my face. Firstly i noticed the smell! Not a fan at all, was very strong and over powering like vodka.

It applied evenly over my face, and straight away i felt like i was wearing a very light face mask, as my skin felt a tad tight. But it wasn't a bad feeling. My pores had been filled and my face felt matte.

I wore this during the day to see how long it would last. My forehead began to feel very oily towards the end of the day and just felt a little dirty, like dust etc had stuck to my face.

I will continue to use this as part of my facial regime but i will apply at night.

I know that toners are known to dry the skin as soon as you apply them as they work to firm your skin and decrease visible pores and this was no exception. I don't usually use toners for this reason. The Garnier Organics Thyme Toner when applied to the face with. a cotton pad feels nice and cold and refreshing. Then the usual firming of the skin happens. I never noticed a difference in my skin when using other toners so I was sceptical. However I found that after using this plus the moisturiser in the line my skin look healthier and actually firmer. There wasn't as much redness on my face from my pimple scarring and didn't appear irritated. My skin. really did have an overall consistent tone!
