Garnier Organics Lemongrass Moisturiser Reviews

This moisturiser initially surprised me as it is quite runny - I am used to using thick and cream moisturisers. However I loved this consistency because it meant that it instantly absorbed into my skin instead of leaving a sticky finish. It smells just like the rest of the line, a fresh lemon grass sent that goes away very quickly. My skin felt hydrated and healthy afterwards and I could put makeup. on straight away after applying because of how quickly it absorbs.

I really enjoyed Garniers organic lemongrass moisturiser. The cream had a really nice consistency and it applied so easily, without needing to use too much product and being able to spread well. I found the product to be really hydrating with long lasting hydration as well! I loved the lemongrass smell, yet it wasn’t too overwhelming which is good. The product comes in a really nice size tube which would easily fit in a handbag which is convenient.

Thanks BR for the opportunity to trial this product! I love the lemongrass scent of this moisturiser. It has a gel consistency which is different from all the other moisturisers I have used, but I actually really liked it. This moisturiser is easy to apply evenly and absorbs quickly. It leaves no greasy residue while also leaving your skin hydrated throughout the day. Unfortunately I will have to swap to another product over winter because I don’t think it will cut it when my skin dries out from the cold weather. But it is definitely great when you are trying to prevent oily skin and pimples though.

The design on the packaging is really cute. I do wish that it had a pump top for convenience though. Also that it was a bit bigger (it’s only 50ml) because I am sure I will finish it way before I will finish the toner and face wash in this range.

I really like this moisturiser and it will definitely remain part of my summer skincare routine. Highly recommend!

I have combo skin with a very oily t-zone.

The pros. - The scent is really wonderful - I wouldn't think about lemongrass in a moisturiser, but it works. Especially for day time use - really refreshing on that sleepy skin. - The tube is easy to hold, and a generous size. - The lid is very secure. - A good price - it'll last about 6 weeks of daily use. - It's light and non-greasy and absorbs well - It doesn't leave skin shiny, which for us oily gals is a big deal!

The negatives: None!

A really great moisturiser for oily to combo skin - it's not too rich, not too heavy and doesn't leave any residue behind to block pores.

Smells great - really fresh and natural.

I loved the feel of it on my skin - it left it feeling refreshed and moisturised.

It sunk in really quickly and formed a great base for my make up.

For the price it's great value for money.

I picked this up in the Beauty Vault, thanks BR! I really wasn't expecting much and I don't often get excited over a facial moisturiser but boy do I love this!

It comes in a squeezy tube with a flip top lid, consistency wise it is definitely more of a semi thick gel. The scent is nice it smells refreshing. You don't need to use much as a little bit definitely goes a long way.

I have dry, sensitive skin and get breakouts so I have to be careful what I put on my face.  Well I'm happy to say that my face loves this! I have not experienced any stinging or irritation at all and it does not cause any pimples! Brilliant!

This leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. It is the perfect base for makeup and it doesn't make my skin go oily at all. I really do love this. It is not something I would have looked at in the supermarket and purchased so I am grateful for trying new things from the vault. I highly recommend this and will buy it again and again!

This is my favourite moisturiser ever! It works really well and hydrates my combination skin while also being light enough to not break out my acne prone skin. I have been using this for about a year now and I love how thin and runny the formula is as it is so easy to spread and you don’t need too much so the small bottle still lasts a long time. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone with really dry or older skin as it is probably to light for that and also wouldn’t be good for anyone with issues with fragrance as it smells quite strong (quite a fresh smell though).

I had the organics toner and gel wash which i also used together with the organics moisturiser and all went really well together as a facial regime.

This lemongrass scented moisturiser isn't too watery nor too thick so it's a good consistency. It worked well to smooth out my skin and left it feeling fresh. The smell wasn't over powering, but i'm not a fan of it. I only had to use a little bit, and also had to squeeze the bottle for it to come out as tipping it upside down didn't actually do anything. I will continue to use this as part of my regime as i liked how my skin looked after. Left it feeling very smooth and redness was gone!

The first thing you notice with this range is its very heavily scented. That's why I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the moisturizer to find that compared to its counterparts the scent was nowhere near as strong. It has a pleasant hereby scent with citrus undertones. I did find it still lingered on the skins surface for an extended period of time.

The moisturizer itself has a lovely light milky gel consistency which made it spread extremely well and absorb into the skin quite quickly. One large pea sized amount covered my whole face and if I applied slightly more I ended up taking it down the neck and decolletage as well. I feel like this would make the product last longer which is great as the tube is smaller than its counterparts.

This product is easy to apply, I just used my finger tips to do so. After I applied the moisturizer there was no oily or silky residue left on the skins surface, I felt dehydrated still and continued to have surface drag and some days I experienced stinging on open blemishes. This would be the perfect solution to an oilier skin type who feels heavier creams worsen their condition.

The packaging I found to be aesthetically boring and not as sleek as the matching cleanser and toner, however its still very functional and worth its price.

While using this product you do have to make sure you allow plenty of time for it to fully absorb into the skin as any residue on the surface balled up underneath the application of my liquid foundation.

I feel like for its price this would be a great alternative for someone who needs a water based moisturizer and who suffers from excess oil and blemishes.
