Garnier Fresh Mix Tissue Mask Hyaluronic Acid Reviews

These new Garnier SkinActive masks are genius! so fun and a unique and innovative take on your usual sheet masks. Took me a minute to figure out how to mix the mask and acid, but was really cool when it began to mix. Was great as it had enough liquid and wasn't dripping when I went to apply it on, felt really soft on. The mask made my skin feel smooth and also tight but in a good way. This mask is super cooling and smoothing - perfect for this summer weather. Would use again.

I love a great mask so was excited to try this out. Directions are very simple to follow, simply fold along the lines and squeeze the serum until it pops and saturates the tissue mask.  There is a tonne of serum so it doesn't take long before the mask is drenched. Be careful upon opening as the serum squirted out everywhere for me.

The mask is super soaked which made it a little difficult to open up. It was a bit messy and dripping so be sure to do it over the basin or a towel. It fit my face really well and felt comfortable. I have sensitive skin and got no stinging or irritation at all. It was a really hot day and it felt lovely and cooling which I loved. It has a subtle floral scent. Not overwhelming at all.

The tissue mask really sinks into your skin and turns into a gel kind of, it's quite cool. I left it on for 15 minutes as directed. It was easy to remove and there was a lot of serum left on my face which I massaged in. There was also a lot of serum still left in the packaging so I rubbed it onto my neck and hands. It felt really sticky for a while which I am not a fan of, I popped some moisturiser over top to help, it did settle down eventually but still had a slight tack to it.  Make sure to rub it in really well.

My skin felt so hydrated and smooth. I have very dry skin so it was a great boost for me. The next morning I had glowy, soft skin with no dry spots. It did not cause any breakouts at all. My only negatives are the sticky face and it being a bit messy. Overall it is a gorgeous mask especially in this hot weather. I would happily use this again and would like to try the vitamin c one also.

I was sceptical about these facemasks, the ones where you mix it yourself, but I was totally wrong! Easy instructions on the pack, and the mixing was so easy, no mess! When I put the mask on it felt amazing and cool, no tingling or stinging, the 15mins wasn’t long enough, it felt so soothing on the skin. When I took it off my skin felt plump and refreshed, and the next morning I could still feel my skin was plump! Loved this mask and will be doing this one again ASAP!

I love a tissue mask, but at times they're not as saturated in product as you'd like. This Fresh mix mask makes sure there's no lack of product to soak into your skin as you only activate the mask and saturate it when ready to use.

The instructions are simple and easy to follow. You need to use quite a bit of squeeze pressure to break the seal and get the Hyaluronic acid into the tissue mask area. There's a substantial amount of hyaluronic acid to ensure your tissue mask is saturated, so when removing the mask it does drip quite a lot.

The mask itself is robust enough to hold up to unfolding - so I just grabbed it out and gave it a light shake out to unfold, and then gently pulled apart to get the cut outs for eyes, nose etc. the right way up. Initial thoughts when popping it on was how silky it looked on the face - so smooth, no wrinkles, and it didn't feel heavy on the face. It is really lovely and cooling on the skin. No tingling or any 'reaction' type of feeling.

After about 20 minutes or so, I removed the mask. I wiped the mask on legs, hands etc. before binning, to be thrifty. I let the mask absorb into my skin without patting, and while it does feel tacky at first, it absorbed quite quickly for me. The immediate results are brighter and more hydrated looking skin. I'm not sure my skin felt 'plump' as such, but it did feel well hydrated. When the product had absorbed there is a definite soft and suppleness to my skin which was lovely.

The product over night seemed to keep my skin soft and supple for the next morning, and my skin definitely has a more hydrated glow to it today.

Overall I really liked this mask. It felt lovely on, and my skin felt good after wards as well. I really loved that there is plenty of product and that left over serum can be used on other dry areas of skin.

This mask is one I'd definitely buy again. I think it would be particularly fantastic in the winter months when the cold weather stresses and dries the skin a lot more. It is definitely a great hydration boost.

I loveee the idea of this mask, as I have used many many sheet masks before, this one stood out to me as it comes as a dry mask and u mix the product when u want to use it. This idea is so good because it allows for the reaction to happen on your face meaning a better outcome. My skin is always incredibly dry so this face mask was perfect for me. I love the way my skin felt afterwards and while I was massaging the the remains into my skin. I love using moisturizers with hyaluronic acid as it really helps my dry skin and now there is a face mask which will deeply moisturize my skin I am so excited to buy more of these.

I love the fact that it isn't pre mixed. It was very satisfying squeezing it and feeling the pop as it started to soak into the sheet mask. The instructions on the back are very clear and easy to follow which is always a plus. I did find once i removed the mask there was a lot of liquid still left in the packet so I managed to save this and reuse it as a serum. The mask once infused is very refreshing and cooling on the face which for summer was very relaxing. There is no real distinguishing scent. After the 15mins once removed I massages the remaining gel into my skin and overtime felt a tightening sensation when I moved my face. My skin was left soft and hydrated. Would definitely use again.

I really liked that this product gives you the ability to pick up a single use face-mask as part of your standard grocery shop :)

The product itself - loved how the mask and the hydrating formula are separated and it is up to you to activate the mask when you are ready to use it! Once you have infused it you are free to open up the packaging (it infuses mess free) and grab the wet jelly like feel mask out. This is where my only negatives are, no matter how careful I was to try not to make a mess it was near impossible and when applying the mask to my face I did get a few drops on me. There was still plenty of left over formula in the packet too - so seems they are over generous on the formula! The mask is one where there are holes for your mouth, nose and eyes. So you apply the mask and can relax.

The mask itself since it was covered in formula felt so lovely on the skin. I felt like my skin was getting a real treat. I relaxed on the couch with the mask applied for about 20min and when I removed it, I finished off by rubbing the remaining excess formula on my face into my skin, and my skin just sucked it up. My face afterwards felt amazing, super soft, glowing and plump, and even my skin visually seemed to be more even toned in appearance.

In the morning my skin felt amazing and hydrated, and my makeup applied really well!

Will definitely repurchase another mask (maybe try a different type too) in my next grocery shop!

I hadn't heard of this product when I got the chance to try it.. neither had I heard of hyaluronic acid. It was quite a novelty having to squeeze the liquid into the mask, I have never tried a face mask like this before. The mask itself was a good size although the eye holes could have been slightly bigger. My eyes are quite small and the holes barely left enough room for them. Also it kept slipping over my eyes and fortunately, even though product got into my eyes, it didnt sting or cause irritation. The mask itself was cooling and refreshing. My skin is quite dry and sensitive at the moment but it didnt irritate at all. In fact it was nice and calming having this mask on . After fifteen minutes I took the mask off and let the extra gel seep into my skin. My skin feels firmer and although I wouldnt go as far as to say it feels totally hydrated, it dosnt feel anywhere as dry as it was. The redness i had prior had eased and overall my skin does feel better then it did before applying the mask.

I was very skeptical of this mask - I've used tissue masks before and found them tricky to apply, with underwhelming results.

The DIY aspect is quite funny, although I suspect a bit of a gimmick. Once I figured out how to fold the pack to mix, I gave it a big squeeze to force open the seal separating the actual mask, and the serum. I did worry I was going to pop the pack, but the seal gave way smoothly and flooded the mask section of the packet.

There is an awful lot of serum - dare I say it, too much. I actually decanted the remainder for use another day.

The tissue mask is a lovely size, the eye, nose and mouth flaps are well fitting, and its really easy to unfold and apply.

It feels cooling and relaxing, and smells wonderful.

Afterwards my skin felt a little tacky, but this soon dissipated. I used this mask on Saturday evening and as I sit here and write this review, 5 days later, my skin still feels incredible. I've changed nothing else in my routine, so I can put this soft, supple texture down to this mask.

Will definitely buy again, cannot rave enough.

It has been soooo hot lately so using this felt just awesome, it was not only instantly nice, cool and refreshing, but it gave my skin the hydration it needed. This only lasted two days - but these don't cost much and I think it is well worth that temporary hydration, and it still does what it says it will do.

I wondered what the heck the point was in having the mix separate to the mask, but after trying it, this mask is easier to use and put on compared to Garnier's other pre-mixed Masks - those ones tend to have an extra sheet that you peel off once it is on your face and it is a bit of a pain to handle, sometimes it can leave you gasping for air abit if it flaps over your mouth and nose lol. But this Mask here is simple, easy to place on your face and it covered mine perfectly. Much easier to use!

I also had a little of the shot mix left over, so I have been using this on my face after a shower at night as a serum before my evening moisturiser, in the morning my skin is so refreshed!

The only issue I have is that it does make your skin sticky afterwards which I found with the others too, but if you can put up with it for an hour or so until it is fully dried off it is fine. I used this in the morning, by late morning and through to the next day my skin felt soft and bouncy. For appearance I didn't notice anything until the next day.

Over all, in this heat and especially in Winter, I will be making sure I have some on hand for a once a week boost for my skin. Thank you Beauty Review for the Trial :-) <3
