Smells like the perfume itself. Perfumed makeup has that old school classic vibe to it and the red box makes me think Revlon Unforgettable, love is or of course red door as it is red it's a power colour. If you like talcs you might like to try this though Elizabeth Ardens red door is an acquired scent. Nice to layer on with the perfume or use in your shoes or even oily hair if your in a hurry. I don't know if using on the face is actually ideal and if your sensitive it may not agree with you but it's nice to have especially if your interested in vintage looking makeup and love the perfume. I am sure older women live this scent as it's been around a long time so there's must be a market for it. It gives skin a nice smooth feel
