Mariah Carey Forever Review

Not a fan of this perfume. It was way to over powering. I didn't get any compliments either which is unusual! The one thing i did like was the bottle! it was very fancy looking and sleek. Easy to see how much was left. I ended up giving this away as it just wasn't the scent for me.

I bought one of these the last one in fact which is actually and ex tester. The rest had totally sold out! Clearly this is a popular scent and to me is another unique fragrance not over powering like like M can be or as strong. More fresh but still has a sweet warm sort of twist to it. Reading the fragrance notes I like Gardenia and white Florals in my perfume collection. You do get the musk as the warm twist in this. It is not super long lasting on me like M is but fair. I do not have the lid for this I got this for just $25 and that is a steal even without the long lid. I like the look of her butterfly bottles more though. This came in the large pink box as pictured I was wondering why it had such a big box and now I know from the picture above it is due to the long lid. I also learn from reading the description above that it came out toward the end of 2009. Wow. I thought this one was a fairly recent release. I am not sure if I would re buy this one just yet but I am liking it.

I love the clean, elegant lines of this perfume bottle and the rich sweet flowery smell. I'm less keen on the Mariah Carey association - why do so many perfumes have to be endorsed by celebrities. I bought this because I loved the smell - and because you'd have to look very closely at the gold neck of the bottle to see the Mariah Carey reference!

This is a very floral fragrance & quite strong so I use it mainly in the evening on special occasions. The bottle is so beautiful, and is very different from her many butterfly bottles. I find I cannot use this if I even have a hint of a headache as it can set off a migraine. My husband surprised me at work with this on the day it was released in New Zealand. I have said in a previous review of M by Mariah Carey that I am a die hard Lamb (fan) and I love that she has named most of her fragrances after titles of her songs. TOP NOTES - Neroli, Lotus and Green apple MIDDLE NOTES -Ttuberose, Gardenia & Lilly of the valley BASE NOTES - White musk, Sandlewood & Patchouli

Ladies if you have not tried this perfume and you love the floral (not too overpowering sweet) scents, then this is for you. I honestly think that when purchasing a perfume, there is always one specifically made just for you. Well this one lasts all day and smells amazing. I would say anyone lady between the ages of 20-35 would like it but my friend's mum who is 50 said she loves the scent. It's a little sweet but not too florally. Great for daytime wear but I do wear it evenings. The scent just lingers wherever you go.

I've always been a Huge Mariah Carey fan. I love her one of a kind voice and her make up looks. Mariah is one of my idols. Hence the facination with her scents.

This one I have in a 50 ml. Its my favourite scent when I go out to dinners. The bottle design reminds me of a gatsby perfume bottle. Its design is different with these horizontal edges to it. It's made of glass. It spray easy and well onto my skin. This scent is a sweet floral scent. Its the gardenia and tuberose that smells so nice. So far this 50 ml bottle has lasted me over a year. That is with using it in between other smells. Its one of my all time favourites in my collection.

Overall it is long lasting on my skin. This smell is very different from her M range. Whereas this one I think is more of a night scent . I prefer to wear this one at night. My favourite so far.
