Estee Lauder Youth Dew Review

I got this as a gift, and this is way too strong for me. I got a headache from the scent. On a positive note, it’s really long lasting, and beautiful bottle. Would suit someone who loves a strong almost woody scent.

I was given this as a Christmas gift and honestly wasn't sold on it initially - I tend to like a really light, floral sweet smell and this is really quite heavy and I would almost say musky/woody. I don't know. But after having it on me all day, I'm actually quite impressed and surprised by how much it grew on me. One of my least favourite things about a lot of perfumes is just how quickly the fragrance fades and I'm left feeling like I've wasted money on this perfume that no one can snell except me when I first put it on (Tommy Hilfiger I'm looking At you). This stayed ALL DAY and it turned into something more sexy. Loved it actually.

Great evening smell, lasts long, makes you feel so sexy and get so many compliments wearing it.

An older lady smell, but maybe just because I have not smelt it in so long and it reminds me of my mom, did not bug me when I stole a sprits or two.

I was given this as I collect perfumes and it's an oriental spicy fragrance that I would describe as a "winter" fragrance as it's quite strong and could be too overpowering if one isn't careful. Very reminiscent of Opium by YSL but not quite the same fragrance. Firstly, the bottle, it's a classy design that reminds me of a deep brown coloured gown with a gold bow around the waist and a glamorous gold lid. Upon spraying the fragrance I get a deep sensual fragrance of spices and balsam that sent my mind into a dream of riding on a camel in far off lands. The dry down is like sweet cinnamon and lasts for ages on me. This is certainly one of my personal favourites.
