Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue EDT Review

I initially tried this perfume back in Toronto and the lady at the counter told me to try it and I was dead set against it because the minute she said "citrus" I was like "yah nah!". I smelled it on the little swatch she had and though it was alright but it didn't wow me. Then she sprayed some on my wrist and that was it. It smelled incredible on me. I am a big believer in the fact that perfumes don't smell the same on everyone and it is totally dependent on your skin chemistry and how it mixes with that. Well it mixed well on me. It is my go to perfume and everywhere I go, people always say "it smells like Daan in here" LOL. I definitely think of it as mine since I of course think it smells the best on me :) I would recognize it anywhere I go and I am a die hard fan who will likely use it for the rest of my life. Definitely check this one out and try it on your skin to make sure its the right scent for you!

Beautiful fresh fragrance, better for day wear. Love the fruity smells, can tell when someone is wearing it, not to strong smelling. Loveley.

I quite like this smell. I bought myself a 50ml on special for about $90 because I had smelt it on a friend and really liked it. I was quite surprised at how different the scent was on me. It is quite a distinctive smell that sort of reminded me of a cross between Gucci Rush and Clinique Happy which are both quite citrussy, strong with a sort of magnolia blossom sharpness but still a little bit floral sweetness, then when it fades over the day it has a musky hint. I don't like perfumes that are too sweet smelling which is why I think I liked this one. The bottle lasted me quite a while because I didn't have to wear much at a time. I preferred it more for daytime wear.

I was given a bottle of Dolce & Gabana light blue for my 21st birthday (some years ago now ) by my aunty. I really loved this fragrance, I’ve never really been a big floral fragrance fan – reminds me too much of my grandmother however this was not like the others. It was fresh and light and breezy. A really delicate fragrance, one that really had great staying power on me and my body chemistry definitely agreed with. It’s a lovely every day perfume perfect for the warmer months that’s not too overbearing. Its fresh crisp and clean smelling. I don’t find think it’s an overly feminine fragrance but I like that. Just like the fragrance the bottle is light and fresh looking, understated. One of my favourites

Light blue is one of my all time favourite fragrances, perfect for the spring and summer seasons. This perfume i have repurchased more times than any others, there's something about it that i find addictive.. The only downside is that the scent is quite light so i seem to use a lot of it for one application and get through the bottle much more quickly than others. Also although i like the design of the bottle i would like to see it improved, glammed up a bit..

This one is another of my Favorites! You can wear this one any day of the week Love the smell and the notes and love the fresh feeling it gives you. I have about half of this left as well. love it . My favourite scent. Light, feminine and discreet, I love how subtle yet lingering this is. Can't get enough of it

This fragrance has become a staple in my fragrance collection. It is the perfect fragrance for everyday wear in the spring and summer. I am now onto my 4th bottle of the 100ml edp. I've been a fan from the first moment I smelt it when it was first launched in 2001. The beautiful light fragrance has hints of citrus and apple mixed with delicate florals and undertones of a light musk. It's so refreshing and easy to wear, particularly on hot days. It also isn't overpowering which is perfect for me as some fragrances can give me migraines. I often get compliments when I'm wearing it and many of my friends have purchased this after trying mine. The bottle is a bit boring for my liking- I much prefer something's a bit more beautiful on my counter top and I'm also not a fan of the squareness of the bottle as I actually find it a little uncomfortable to hold with one hand and spray. The price is good and what I would expect for the quality. The fragrance lasts pretty well although by the end if the day I can't smell it anymore yet I still get compliments so it must still be there.

This is my favourite scent. I have trouble finding something that doesn't give me a headache. But this is such a nice light fragrance I wear it most days. (I'm on my second bottle) People always ask what I am wearing and compliment the scent.

The bottle isn't very exciting as far as perfume bottles can go, but its crisp and clean like it's scent. For me the notes come out as citrus and a little bit of a floral base note. It reminds me of the freshness of spring (without sounding too cheesey) I definitely think this is worth the price tag and will purchase again.

First smelt it on a friend and i knew i HAD to get it. Loved it at the first smell and have been wearing it for special occasions! Smells similar to one of Vera Wang's perfumes. Hard to find that one in NZ but this is a very very good replacement for it. I have identified several people wearing it because it has such a disticntly amazing smell.
