Eve Lom Cleanser Review

This is my holy grail cleanser - Vogue was right....that is if you love the feeling of warming up a cleanser between your fingers and letting it melt and then okay with looking quite ghastly as it removes every skerrick of makeup! The muslin cloth that accompanies the cleanser is amazing and whisks away all the ghastliness to reveal perfectly cleansed skin that still feels hydrated. You only need a tiny amount - go on and splurge for an indulgent cleanse!

I was gifted the radiant ritual set for Christmas after some strong hints. It contains a 50ml jar of this cleanser. My skin is dry, sensitive and I have redness across my cheeks.

The jar is white and has Eve lom written on it in gold. Simple but luxe! The formula is a balm but once you touch it, it warms on your finger tips and goes on your skin like an oil. It feels glorious on! The smell of the cleanser is a mix between eucalyptus and clove oil, quite fresh and uplifting.

Application is a bit of a ritual and makes for the ultimate face washing experience! To begin, take a small amount of the cleanser out of the jar and massage it into your finger tips. Then apply it to your skin using a circular motion. Take the muslin cloth, add hot water, wring it out and press the cloth down on your face for 5sec. Repeat 3 times. This helps to open up your pores to allow the cleasner in. Then use the cloth and make circular motion once again, this helps to gently exfoliate your skin. Lastly use cold water on the cloth and press down for 5 sec to help close your pore. When my skin is extra dry I actually just leave this cleasner on for 10mins (like a mask) and then wash it off.

I have been using this cleasner twice a day for nearly two weeks and can say without a doubt it is the best cleasner I have use. It has made my skin very soft. I actually find I don't need as much moisturiser because it almost acts like one. I don't have any dry patches and it seems to really calm down my facial redness. It removes make up easily and mascara without rubbing and stinging your eyes. The muslin cloth does get very dirty unfortunately.

I can't express how amazing this cleanser is and can see it making me broke in the near future.

I am a massive fan of this cleanser. It isn't just an excellent way to clean your face after a long day, it's also a ritual.

What do I mean? With the cleanser you get a cheesecloth facecloth, and instructions on how to massage your face and use the cleanser. It is so decadent, but in a wonderful way! You massage your entire face, and finish it off with a nice steam using the facecloth.

The scent is amazing - a bit spicy - and the texture is beautiful. It feels a bit like coconut oil and just melts into your skin.

My face has never felt so wonderfully clean as it did after using this cleanser as directed. The cloth is a beautiful exfoliator and such a nice touch!

If I had one complaint it's that the cloth is easily stained when you take off your makeup. You can throw the cloth in the washer, but I found that it changed the texture of the cloth.

If you're thinking of buying this, DO IT. It's so worth the money and lasts for ages.
