Essence Stay All Day 16h Long-lasting Concealer Review

I recently purchased a few of these concealers online . Thought I would give them a try. I wear make up daily . I love concealer for multiple uses when applying my make up . Essence is extremely affordable so why not give it a try huh.

Packaging is nothing special at all . Consistency is liquid . I put this over my lids for a base for my eye shadow . I notice it takes a while to dry down and blend out. Very patchy consistency but build able. I noticed it creased in my fine lines under my eyes making it a hot mess. I notice that it moves around easily .

Overall I think as an eye shadow base it was perfect . But for hiding imperfections on your face and cleaning up eye brows stay far away from this one. For now I’ll just continue to use it as a base. I wouldn’t buy it again.

First of all, I’ll start my saying that I really like essence products, I have quite a collection. I love that they are affordable and work great. Just goes to show that price doesn’t always equal equality. But, this concealer, just doesn’t work for me. The concealer doesn’t actually conceal. It does provide a level of highlight which isn’t ideal if you attempt to use it to cover any pimples. I doesn’t work as coverage for undereyes and it settles into those annoying undereye fine lines.

Purchased this in a Essence haul I did earlier this year. I like a lot of the products I have tried so expected to like this. It is a cheap product with cheap packaging. It does have a cosmetic scent that i'm not keen on. I found this does dry down very quickly so you will need to blend fast before it sets.

Also I found it to blend into nothing, it didn't give me any under eye coverage for my "shadows". Seems to sink into my under eye lines. It looks as if I have not applied anything, very disappointing. I won't use this to conceal but will probably use an eye primer until it's finished. I wouldn't recommend and I won't repurchase.
